I have used ChatGPT to help write this, but all ideas and prompts were my own. I’ll keep the series going until either everyone is sick of it (could be 1 episode!) or I burn out. The screen fades in to a silent, tension-filled arena. Michael Cole sits alone at the commentary table, visibly rattled but composed.
“Ladies and gentlemen… the wrestling world has changed forever. A landmark court ruling this morning declared that all professional wrestling contracts are null and void—effective immediately. Every superstar, every title, every brand… is now up for grabs. This is real, and this is happening.”
The crowd murmurs, a buzz rippling through the arena.
Suddenly, Triple H’s music hits. The Game walks to the ring, expression grim but controlled. The fans give him a thunderous reception.
Triple H grabs a mic.
“This isn’t how I thought I’d be opening SmackDown in 2025. But here we are in a new era. The courts have spoken, and so WWE must adapt—fast. As of this moment, every championship in WWE has been vacated. No more Universal Champion. No more Women’s Champion. No more Tag Champs. Nothing.
Over the next 72 hours, WWE will be working nonstop to sign the best wrestlers in the world. You’ll see some tonight. More will be signed before Raw this Monday. And yes… there will be surprises.”
He pauses.
“But I know I can’t do this alone…”
Triple H gestures to the ramp.
Nigel McGuinness walks out to a huge ovation. He joins Cole at commentary.
“Nigel, welcome to a whole new era.”
Then Triple H points to the screen:
“It’s time for our first match. Let’s see… who’s still WWE.“
MATCH 1: Kevin Owens vs Scorpio Sky
Kevin Owens returns to a thunderous pop. Moments later, Scorpio Sky is revealed as his opponent—a clean, confident entrance, marking his WWE debut in this new era.
This is a hard-hitting, high-energy opener with fast pacing. Sky shows off his athleticism and composure, but Owens keeps the crowd hot with his brawling and intensity. Commentary sells the stakes—these are two wrestlers proving they belong in WWE’s new era.

Triple H is seen signing documents backstage. A door swings open.
CM Punk walks in.

Punk slowly turns his head. The two lock eyes, an intense staredown as fans chant “holy s—!”

MATCH 2: Stephanie Vaquer vs Zelina Vega
Triple H reappears at ringside and introduces a new era major signing: Stephanie Vaquer.
She’s facing another surprise signee—Zelina Vega, back and looking more serious than ever.
This is a crisp, technical match with Vaquer showcasing her mat skills and unique flair. Zelina surprises many by going hold-for-hold, but Stephanie looks like a star in the making.

The fans erupt.
“I left to build something. I came back because WWE is where the world watches. I didn’t sign today just to compete…
I signed… to lead.”
Cody promises to win the new WWE World Championship—but before he can continue, a loud guitar riff plays.
Hangman Adam Page steps out onto the ramp.
Cowboy hat, stoic look. He gives Cody a subtle nod… and walks off.
MATCH 3: The Lucha Bros vs The Creed Brothers
Two dynamic teams make shocking reveals in this new era. The Lucha Bros are back—and now WWE signed. They face a challenge from the always-gritty Creed Brothers.
This is a sprint. Hard-hitting, creative, and tight.
Penta and Fenix dazzle with their offense. The Creeds look strong but ultimately can’t keep up with the Lucha Bros’ cohesion and momentum.
Winner: The Lucha Bros
How: Pinfall after a Fear Factor
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT: Akira Tozawa Goes Full Comedy
We cut to a shot of Akira Tozawa running around backstage wearing a “Free Agent” T-shirt and a ridiculous briefcase full of rubber chickens and confetti.
He’s trying to sign himself to WWE—using fake contracts, magic tricks, and a kazoo.
Triple H catches him mid-sprint and sighs.
“Fine, Tozawa. You’re in. Just… get out of my office.”
Cue the crowd popping for Tozawa’s chaos.
MAIN EVENT: CM Punk vs Jack Perry
Michael Cole: “Wait… is this happening?! This really is a new era”
Triple H’s voice booms over the speakers:
“Main event time. Let’s do this right. Punk vs Perry—one-on-one. Right now.”
Chicago erupts.
Punk marches out first, to a massive hometown ovation, fists clenched, jaw tight. Perry follows—dead-eyed, determined, and without a single ounce of fear.
There’s no lock-up. No feeling-out process.
The bell rings and they explode into an all-out brawl.
Fists fly. They spill to the outside within a minute. Punk launches Perry into the steel steps. Perry chokes Punk with a camera cord. Chairs, barricades, and monitors get thrown. Nigel calls it “a damn street fight disguised as a main event.”
The fans are unglued—and then…
Superkick.
Out of nowhere, the Young Bucks appear from the crowd and superkick Punk in stereo. The bell rings, but no one cares.
The Bucks and Perry swarm Punk. It’s a calculated, savage beatdown.
Steel chairs. A shattered monitor. They drag Punk up the ramp as officials try to intervene—and fail.
Then it happens.
They pick Punk up, carry him toward a pre-set production window…
AND PUT HIM THROUGH IT.
The glass shatters. The crowd gasps in shock and fury.
Perry stands over Punk’s broken body. The Young Bucks flank him. All three throw up defiant hand gestures.
Fade to black.
END OF SHOW
This isn’t just about signings.
This is about payback, power, and drawing battle lines. The new era has begun.
