Biography
Cody Rhodes is one of the most influential wrestlers of his generation, known for reinventing his career after leaving WWE. The son of WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, he debuted in WWE in 2007 and won multiple Intercontinental and Tag Team Championships.
After departing the company in 2016, Rhodes rebuilt his reputation on the independent scene, in NJPW and Ring of Honor.
He played a key role in the creation of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in 2019, serving as both an executive and top star.
Rhodes returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 in 2022 to widespread acclaim.
Following a memorable rivalry with Seth Rollins and a comeback from a torn pectoral muscle, he became one of WWE's biggest stars.
His quest to "finish the story" culminated at WrestleMania XL in 2024, where he defeated Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Championship.
