Biography
Born in San Fernando, Chile, Ana Stephanie Vaquer González fell in love with wrestling as a child watching it on television, and by her mid-teens had made up her mind to pursue it professionally. She began training under Paul Slandering in Chile and debuted in 2009 at just 15 years old under the name Dark Angel. Determined to reach the highest level, she moved to Mexico in her early twenties and trained under some of lucha libre's most respected names — Ricky Marvin, Último Guerrero, Gran Apache and Villano IV — before making her CMLL debut in August 2019. She became CMLL's first female South American wrestle, and went on to make history as the first luchadora in CMLL history to hold both the CMLL World Women's Championship and the CMLL World Women's Tag Team Championship simultaneously. Her international reputation grew through additional work in Japan for NJPW and Stardom, where she also captured the NJPW Strong Women's Championship. WWE signed her in July 2024, and she wasted no time making an impact — winning the NXT Women's Championship, the NXT Women's North American Championship, and becoming the only woman to hold both simultaneously before ascending to the main roster. One of the most complete and exciting women's performers in the world today, Vaquer's rise feels like it is only just beginning.
