SETH
ROLLINS

Born Colby Lopez in Davenport, Iowa, Seth Rollins began his professional wrestling journey in 2005, cutting his teeth on the midwest independent scene before making a major name for himself in Ring of Honor as Tyler Black — a reign as ROH World Champion announcing him as one of the best performers on the planet outside of WWE. He signed with WWE in 2010, quickly becoming the inaugural NXT Champion before bursting onto the main roster at Survivor Series 2012 as a founding member of The Shield alongside Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. The faction was virtually unstoppable, but it was Rollins who delivered the most shocking moment of their story — betraying his brothers in 2014 to join Triple H’s Authority, setting the stage for one of WWE’s greatest solo careers. At WrestleMania 31, Rollins pulled off one of the most audacious Money in the Bank cash-ins in history, pinning Roman Reigns to steal the WWE Championship and cement his status as “The Architect.” What followed was a run of title reigns, five-star classics, and career reinventions — from villain to messiah to visionary — that few wrestlers in history can match. A six-time world champion, double Grand Slam winner, and three-time PWI number-one ranked wrestler, Seth Rollins is widely regarded as one of the greatest in-ring performers of his generation. Whether he’s playing the villain or carrying WWE on his back as its standard-bearer, there is nobody quite like Seth Freakin’ Rollins.
