Turning Roman Heel
Year One (2015/16)
Survivor Series 2015

Seth Rollins def. Roman Reigns to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
In this scenario, Seth Rollins never injures his knee. After nearly eighteen months, from when Seth Rollins stuck a chair into the back of Roman Reigns, he finally gets his one-on-one encounter with The Architect. Roman beats the holy hell out of Seth Rollins.
That doesn’t mean that Rollins is easy prey however, he dodges a Superman Punch from Raman, causing him to collide into the referee. Rollins goes for a Curb Stomp, only to run into a Spear, but with no ref to count the pin, Roman attempts to wake him.
As Roman checks on the referee, Rollins rolls out of the ring and goes to grab a chair, and he swings the chair right on the back of Roman in an exact mirror of that fateful Raw, where The Shield imploded. He lays the chair in the middle of the ring and hits a bone-crushing Curb Stomp right on the chair. Rollins slides the chair just as the ref is waking up, and he counts the three. Seth Rollins once again, escapes with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Seth boasts about his victory over Roman, calling himself the greatest world champion that this company has ever seen. He cites many of the greats that aren’t on his level, and that includes Triple H, who does not take too kindly to this. He says that if Rollins thinks that he’s the greatest champion of all time, he should have no problem defending his title in a six-man TLC Match, and Trips also promises that he’s on his own, so he better have a damn good plan in place.
Qualifying matches are held, Roman & Ambrose are the first to qualify, but we also try to create some new stars out of this, so we have Kevin Owens, still Intercontinental Champion, qualify, promises to be double champion by the end of this, Neville getting the upset of Sheamus, and Luke Harper defeating Kane, Wyatt proclaims that the title will finally come home to the family. With these additions to the match, TLC 2015 promises to be a spectacle.
TLC 2015
Seth Rollins def. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens, Luke Harper & Neville in a TLC Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
In a star-studded TLC Match, table are broken, bodies are flying everywhere, and amidst the chaos, Seth Rollins scales the ladder to retrieve the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and end the year with the gold.

Royal Rumble 2016
Dean Ambrose wins the 2016 Royal Rumble
Roman Reigns enters the match at #29, and unlike the actual timeline where the WWE World Heavyweight Championship was on the line in real life, since the title is still held by Seth Rollins, he defends the title in the show opener in against The Undertaker.
Roman comes face to face with the man he challenged at last year’s WrestleMania… Brock Lesnar. The two come face to face as the crowd boos Roman, and cheers Brock.
Eventually, the final three end up being Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, & Dean Ambrose. Lesnar manages to eliminate The Big Dog after a low blow, which is met with thunderous cheers from the crowd. Roman recovers enough to distract Lesnar, allowing Dean Ambrose to score the shock elimination and win the 2016 Royal Rumble Match.
Dean Ambrose celebrates his victory, Roman enters the ring with Ambrose’s back turned to him, Roman leans in the corner, possibly lining up Ambrose, only to walk up to him and raise him arm, celebrating the victory of his former Shield brethren. But Roman’s expression seems off, not unlike The Rock’s expression while doing the same for Roman one year ago.
With Dean Ambrose guaranteed a WrestleMania Main Event, Triple H & Seth Rollins do everything in their power to ensure that he doesn’t make it to WrestleMania. Ambrose enlists the help of Roman as backup and they face Trips & Rolls at Fastlane in No Holds Barred.
Triple H adds the stipulation that it will be elimination rules to ensure that he & Rollins humiliate both men in one single swoop.
Fastlane 2016
Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose def. Triple H & Seth Rollins in a No Holds Barred Match
Egos clash in one of the biggest tag team main events of all time, Rollins tries to prove that he doesn’t need Triple H. On the other team, we have a very dissatisfied Roman Reigns who’s forced to play second-fiddle to Ambrose, instead of the other way around.
Roman has Seth lined up for a spear, only for Triple H to shove Seth out of the way and take the Spear. Roman pins Triple H to eliminate him but is immediately hit with a Curb Stomp from Rollins and is eliminated as well.
All Rollins has to do is put down Ambrose like he has done many times before, but he can’t do it on his own, and Triple H intervenes, hitting Ambrose with a Pedigree, he urges Rollins to pin him, but he shoves Triple H and screams at him to get out of his ring.
Rollins then slaps Triple H, only to be hit with a Pedigree, then Triple H exits the ring. Rollins & Ambrose are both down, they make it back up at the same time, and it’s Ambrose who strikes first with Dirty Deeds to score the win.
Ambrose’s place in the WrestleMania Main event is all but secured, but Roman Reigns is directionless heading into WrestleMania, and he failed to defeat Seth Rollins yet again.
Roman interrupts a promo between Rollins & Ambrose, and he demands to be added to the match at WrestleMania for the title. Surprisingly, Rollins is for it, and Ambrose is the one who shuts it down. He walks off, leaving Roman hanging.
Ambrose explains the when The Shield broke up, Roman didn’t even care about brotherhood, he was focused on chasing the title. Where was Roman when Ambrose getting screwed over by The Authority for months? Ambrose deserves his chance at WrestleMania, not Roman.
Roman doesn’t have a good response, but challenges Ambrose to a match, if he wins, he’s added to the title match at WrestleMania. And with the help of Seth Rollins, (who merely wants the chance to prove that he was the best in The Shield all along) Roman beats Ambrose.
WrestleMania 32

Roman Reigns def. Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
What a WrestleMania Main Event this would have been, Seth Rollins defends his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against both Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose in the long-awaited Shield triple threat.
After nearly a half-hour of nonstop action, Ambrose has Reigns dead to rights, when he is clobbered from behind by The Uso’s. They help their cousin up, much to the shock of Ambrose. The Uso’s Double Superkick Ambrose, who then staggers into a Spear from Reigns.
Rollins tries to fight back, he hops into the ring and takes the fight to The Uso’s, Roman grabs a steel chair into the back of Rollins, just like how it was done to him back in the day. He breaks the chair over Rollins back, then cuts him in half with a devastating Spear. He stacks his former Shield brothers on top of each other to get the three.

Roman Reigns has turned heel to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, one year after Roman was screwed out of the title by Rollins, he returns the favor, sticking it to the fans who have booed him.
Year Two (2016-17)
The end of WrestleMania 32 saw Roman Reigns standing tall over his former Shield stablemates completing his turn to the dark side, alongside his cousins, The Uso’s. The age of The Bloodline has begun.
Roman Reigns, Jey & Jimmy Uso run roughshod over WWE, just like The Shield used to do back in the day. Now, the WWE Roster will have no choice but to acknowledge the new Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. I think it would have been cool to see this take place years sooner, instead of sitting through years of Roman’s bad babyface run.
After losing the title at WrestleMania, Seth Rollins is finally betrayed by Triple H the next night on Raw. Rollins is written off TV for a few months thanks to an assault from The Game. While Rollins is off TV taking a well-deserved break, The Bloodline does the same to Dean Ambrose, also sending him packing for the time being.
With Payback just around the corner, a Number One Contendership match is held, which is won by none other than AJ Styles. After a career spanning nearly two decades, AJ Styles will challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for the very first time.
Payback 2016

Roman Reigns def. AJ Styles to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Unfortunately for Styles, there is no fairytale ending here tonight, his years of hard work to get to this point does not pay off here tonight. These two would have stolen the show just like they did in real life, only both men would have played the face/heel dynamic perfectly.
The program between The Phenomenal One and The Tribal Chief isn’t done though and will culminate in a Ladder Match at Extreme Rules.
Extreme Rules 2016

Roman Reigns def. AJ Styles in a Ladder Match to retain the WWE Championship
What a match this would have been, a match type that certainly favors Styles. But in the end, The Tribal Chief, ascends the ladder and unhooks his championship, signifying that he is atop the WWE.
After vanquishing his rival in AJ Styles, a surprising challenger emerges in the form of Chris Jericho, although a heel, knows how to manipulate even the best of them, making him an interesting challenger for the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief.
Money in the Bank 2016

Roman Reigns def. Chris Jericho to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Jericho uses his experience edge to utilize some old-fashioned limb targeting, going after the knees of Roman Reigns, to slow the bigger man down. But Roman is just too powerful for a washed up Y2J to take him down. As soon as he gets the advantage, he absolutely destroys Jericho, retaining his title in absolutely convincing fashion. This humiliating loss leads to Jericho finding his new best friend Kevin Owens.
Seth Rollins make his return and invokes his rematch clause for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Battleground.
Battleground 2016

Seth Rollins def. Roman Reigns by DQ, meaning that Roman Reigns retains the WWE Championship
During the match, Rollins has Roman’s number like he always does, he counters a Spear into a Curb Stomps, and seemingly has the match won, when he’s attacked by Triple H, causing Rollins to win by Disqualification, however, Roman Reigns is still WWE Champion.
While Triple H & Seth Rollins are fighting atop the ramp, a hooded figure emerges from the crowd who’s revealed to be Dean Ambrose and he drops Roman with Dirty Deeds.
Dean Ambrose is back for revenge, and he targets Roman Reigns for betraying him at WrestleMania, he challenges Roman for the WWE Title at Summerslam, but he’ll have to go through Seth Rollins first. They have a match set for Raw, and as Rollins makes his entrance, Triple H attacks him from behind and lands a Pedigree on the ramp. Ambrose doesn’t want to win this way, but he’ll do anything to fight Roman, he mercifully puts Rollins away, punching his ticket to the big-time match at Summerslam.
Summerslam will see many big matches, such as the main event pitting John Cena vs AJ Styles in a tournament final for the reactivated World Heavyweight Championship, Seth Rollins vs Triple H in No Holds Barred, & Roman Reigns vs Dean Ambrose for the WWE Championship, a brotherhood up in flames.
Summerslam 2016

Roman Reigns def. Dean Ambrose to retain the WWE Championship
Ambrose tries as he must, but eventually falls to The Tribal Chief, just like he did at WrestleMania 32, thanks to interference from The Uso’s. The finish saw Ambrose fighting off The Uso’s before running right into a Spear for the three.
After getting screwed out of the WWE Championship, Dean Ambrose continues his war against The Bloodline, committing to hit & run tactics on episodes of Monday Night Raw. This leads to a rematch at Clash of Champions in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.
Clash of Champions 2016

Roman Reigns def. Dean Ambrose in a Falls Count Anywhere Match to retain the WWE Championship
The match is complete anarchy with Roman retaining the title after The Uso’s Superkick Ambrose off the stage through some electrical equipment.
Once again, The Uso’s have cost Dean Ambrose the WWE Championship, it’s become clear that Raw isn’t big enough for the two of them. Roman’s next step is to expel Ambrose from the so-called Island of Relevancy. So, Roman accepts a challenge from Ambrose, at Hell in a Cell, if Ambrose loses, he is banished from Raw.
Hell in a Cell 2016

Roman Reigns def. Dean Ambrose in a Loser Leaves Raw – Hell in a Cell Match to retain the WWE Championship
Roman retains the WWE Title by the skin of his teeth, thanks to interference by Samoa Joe, making his main roster debut by ripping down a cell wall and putting Ambrose to sleep in the Coquina Clutch. Joe helps Reigns back to his feet, and points to the sky, signifying his association with The Bloodline.
Samoa Joe is officially inducted into The Bloodline, despite not being part of the legendary Anoa’i Family, he’s still of their kin and he can now earn his seat at the table. The Uso’s don’t like this as they don’t trust Joe, as a “half-breed” like him isn’t one of them. But they are quickly forced to fall in line by their Tribal Chief.
Since the reign of The Bloodline has been the predominant story on RAW, it’s only right that the main event of Survivor Series, sees it on full display. We get a huge 4-on-4 Survivor Series Elimination Match which pits The Bloodline against Team Triple H.
Triple H makes his first appearance since losing to Seth Rollins at Summerslam. He’s not longer here as the COO, he’s back as The Game, he’s tired of The Bloodline running roughshod over Raw, and he assembles a team of former NXT Champions, such as Finn Balor & Sami Zayn, he goes to Seth Rollins to be his fourth man who soundly rejects Triple H due to their troubled history.
Balor & Zayn try to urge Rollins to put everything aside and join Triple H, these were the guys that Triple H chose to carry the Black & Gold Brand, he believes in them in his fight against The Bloodline, but Rollins continues to refuse, leaving Triple H down a man. On the go-home Raw, The Bloodline is beating down Team Triple H, and that’s when Seth Rollins finally makes the save, making peace with Triple H.
Survivor Series 2016

The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, & The Uso’s) def. Seth Rollins, Triple H, Finn Balor, & Sami Zayn
The Bloodline wins the match, but Team Triple H puts up a pretty damn good fight. Finn Balor & Sami Zayn eliminate Jimmy & Jey Uso respectively. Samoa Joe gets in there and he eliminates both Sami Zayn & Finn Balor respectively. Triple H gets in there, going head-to-head with Samoa Joe, and The Game gets destroyed by Joe, eliminating him as well. With just Seth Rollins left, he doesn’t have a chance, Roman has his number and he defeats him decisively, one year after Rollins screwed him out of the title at Survivor Series.
A Triple Threat Match is held on Raw between Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, & Rusev (who lost the US Title to Sami Zayn at this point) to determine the Number One Contender for the WWE Championship at Roadblock. But before a winner can be decided, The Bloodline strikes again, destroying all three men in the process.
But Mick Foley has other plans, he tells Roman that he made a big mistake, he must’ve thought that he could do whatever he likes and just maybe he would sit out Roadblock. But Foley promises that isn’t gonna happen. Because now, Roman Reigns will have to defend the WWE Championship against Seth Rollins, Keven Owens, & Rusev.
Roadblock 2016

Roman Reigns def. Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, & Sami Zayn to retain the WWE Championship
Roman Reigns manages to retain the WWE Title against some of Raw’s biggest stars. Importantly, Seth Rollins has Roman’s number yet again, the pin is broken up. Roman pins Rusev to retain the gold.
On the final Raw of 2016, Samoa Joe faces Sami Zayn for the United States Title, and he destroys The Underdog from the Underground to win the title. The Bloodline ends the year as all great factions do, by holding all the gold.
Finn Balor wins a battle royal on Raw to determine the Number One Contender for the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble. We play off of when Balor was the face of NXT, he was seen as the guy who should replace Roman as the face of WWE.
Royal Rumble 2017

Roman Reigns def. Finn Balor to retain the WWE Championship
On the same PPV that sees AJ Styles retain his World Heavyweight Championship over fan favorite The Undertaker, Roman Reigns defeats Finn Balor with interference from Samoa Joe.
At the same event, in the main event, The Rumble match is won by John Cena, who ties Austin’s record in an attempt to tie Flair’s record. He teases going after Roman, but ever since Summerslam, he’s been hot on AJ Styles’ tail, and he chooses to face him one last time at WrestleMania.
But during the match itself, Roman Reigns interferes in the Rumble Match and catches Goldberg out of nowhere with a Spear, allowing Samoa Joe to capitalize and score the elimination. The finish sees Joe eliminate Undertaker while he’s busy with Cena, and Cena hits an AA to Joe out of the ring, winning his third Royal Rumble.
Goldberg has a bone to pick with Roman for costing him the Royal Rumble, he challenges Roman to a WWE Title Match at Fastlane.
Fastlane 2017

Roman Reigns def. Goldberg to retain the WWE Championship
Earlier in the Night, The Undertaker teams up with Kane & Finn Balor to defeat Samoa Joe & The Uso’s. The Undertaker even passes the torch to Balor, allowing him to hit a Tombstone on Jimmy Uso to win the match for his team.
The two behemoths do battle as Fastlane with The Tribal Chief retaining over Goldberg, thanks to interference from Brock Lesnar. Mirroring when Goldberg cost Lesnar the WWE Championship all those years ago.
On Raw, Roman sends his personal enforcer Samoa Joe to face Kane, and after choking him out, it doesn’t stop there. The entire Bloodline attack Kane, beating him within an inch of his left and taking his mask off for good measure, Kane gets stretchered out of the building, and it’s the end of Kane’s full-time career.
Our Tribal Chief looks to cement his legacy and stick it to the fans who booed him by retiring quite possibly the most beloved star in the history of the WWE on the grandest stage. It promises to be a match for the ages at WrestleMania.
WrestleMania 33
Roman Reigns def. The Undertaker in a Title vs Career Match to retain the WWE Championship
It’s one of the biggest main events in WrestleMania history. The crowd is electric in Orlando! It’s a clash of generations, the biggest star in the industry’s history against the biggest star in the industry’s future. The Undertaker’s entrance is more elaborate than ever, with the entire locker room dressing up as druids that extends all the way to the ring. Roman, on the other hand, debuts Head Of The Table as his new entrance theme here, making this main event all the more memorable.
The Undertaker does everything in his power to keep up with the younger and stronger lion. But despite all his experience, Roman Reigns has too much for him to handle. However, the Deadman won’t go down without a fight. He takes everything the champ has to offer including two devastating spears and continues to kick out. The Undertaker comes back with a Chokeslam, a Last Ride through an announce table, he counters a Spear into a Hell’s Gate and two Tombstones but Roman manages to pull through however.
The ref goes down and The Uso’s & Samoa Joe are quick to pounce on The Deadman. The Uso’s hit a Double Superkick, followed by a Uranage from Joe, then a Double Splash courtesy of The Uso’s. The Undertaker still kicks out, and as The Uso’s line him up for another Double Superkick, but Finn Balor makes a beeline, he attacks Samoa Joe while Undertaker levels The Uso’s with a Double Chokeslam.
The Undertaker then hits another Chokeslam on Roman, removes the straps, and cuts his throat, signaling for a third and final Tombstone. Only for Roman to reverse into a tombstone of his own, he then retreats to the corner and lines his opponent up. As The Undertaker staggers to his feet, he begs Roman to give it everything he’s got, Roman runs the ropes, then again, then again, at full speed, Roman blasts Taker with a Super Spear… ONE… TWO… THREE… Roman Reigns has retired The Undertaker.
Roman Reigns celebrates with the WWE Championship as fireworks blast through the Citrus Bowl. He gets back to the top of the ramp where he gets presented with the Samoan Ulafala around his neck by the Wild Samoans, Afa and Sika. The Bloodline walks out of WrestleMania with all the gold, Roman with the WWE Championship, Samoa Joe with the US, & The Uso’s with the Tag Team Titles.
The Undertaker on the other hand, leaves his boots in the ring, and waiting for him is Bruce Prichard & Ted DiBiase, the two men who in kayfabe brought him to the WWE, Undertaker hands DiBiase his hat, and Prichard his trench coat.
