[Velocity intro]

[The starting pyro goes off, hyping up the crowd]

[Lola Vice makes her entrance]

Corey Graves:

“Happy Tuesday everyone, we are back and are starting HOT with another episode of Monumental Wrestling Velocity. We are getting ever so close to Ground Zero, as we kick off with another match in the women’s world championship tournament. Lola Vice is set to try and prove herself and to advance and face Trish Stratus at Heat next Friday but first, she has to get through the CEO Mercedes Mone.”

[Mercedes Mone makes her entrance]

Monumental Wrestling women’s championship tournament, quarter finals

Lola Vice vs Mercedes Mone

[The bell rings]

Mercedes offers a handshake that feels insincere. The crowd boos as they don’t want Lola to shake, she pretends to think and then goes to smack her hand out of the way but it’s caught! Mercedes yanks her in for a short-arm forearm to the jaw.

Mercedes takes control early, twisting Lola into submissions, aiming to wear her down and kill her spirit. Hammerlocks and wrist control, making sure to trash talk her after every escape.

Lola finally is able to create some space with a spinning back kick to the ribs, sending Mercedes stumbling.

******

Lola starts landing body kick after body kick, turning into a snap suplex. The crowd is willing her on. ROUNDHOUSE KCIK!

1! 2! … MERCEDES KICKS OUT!

Mercedes regroups in the corner with a frustrated look painted across her face. She lures Lola in and dodges, sending her shoulder first into the ring post. Mercedes then works the arm, targeting it with kicks and a hammerlock slam.

Money Maker attempted but Lola spins out and plants her with a spinebuster.

1! 2! … NO!

The crowd is fully behind Lola, cheering on every move. She measures Mercedes for her spinning backfist but Mercedes ducks, hooks her arm and snaps her into the ropes shoulder first.

Mercedes capitalises immediately with a double knee strike to the shoulder, then locks in the Statement Maker! Lola fights desperately, clawing for the ropes, inching closer but just as she’s about to break the hold… Mercedes kicks off the ropes and rolls them both into the centre of the ring, wrenching deeper.

Lola has no choice but to tap out, Mercedes wins.

[Match time: 15 minutes 52 seconds]

Mercedes holds in the submission for another five seconds after the bell has rung before finally letting go. Taunting the crowd who are not happy about it.

Renee Paquette:

“Lola gave every piece of herself to winning this match but unfortunately fell short. She will be beating herself up about this.”

Corey:

“Now Mercedes is one match away from the title match at Ground Zero.”

[Cut to backstage where the Dudley Boyz are hanging out]

Ron Dudley:

“You guys are pretty cool, you really know how to make a bother feel welcome.”

D-Von Dudley:

“Thank you Ron. We’re glad you’re feeling at home with us but we’re not just fun and games, we have a tag match to prepare for on Friday.”

Ron:

“That sounds intense, what do you need from me?”

Bubba Ray Dudley:

“We’ve hired out a ring for tomorrow for us to practice. We know we’ll face War Machine and they will be tough.”

D-Von:

“We want you and Spike to team up against me and Bubba.”

Ron:

“Sounds like a good plan, I won’t go easy though, I want to test your limits.”

D-Von:

“We’d want nothing less.”

[Cuts back to the arena]

[Bobby Roode makes his entrance]

[Kazuchika Okada makes his entrance with Don Callis]

Monumental Wrestling men’s world title tournament, quarterfinals.

Bobby Roode vs Kazuchika Okada

[The bell rings]

Roode and Okada lock horns, testing each other’s strength and ability to create leverage. Okada forces Roode to the ropes, pats his chest in what seems to be a clean break until he strikes Roode with a thunderous slap across the cheek. They go back and forth with headlocks, takedowns and counters with neither man gaining a clear edge. Eventually Roode scores a big hit by shoulder blocking Okada, once back up he returns the favour by sending a dropkick his way.

******

Okada tries to quicken the pace, but Roode catches him with a spinebuster.

1! 2! … No, that wasn’t enough to put Okada away.

Roode works over Okada’s lower body to try and slow him down, he knees him in the back while he’s seated, stealing the wind from his lungs each time.

Corey:

“Bobby is trying to neutralise the Rainmaker but I’m not sure how much punishment he will need to inflict to a man that can wrestle for over an hour.”

Roode picks up his foe but gets surprised with a flapjack! Bobby bounces back up as Okada slips behind for a german suplex! He keeps the hold for a cover!

1! 2! … NO!

Back up… EMERALD FLOWSION!

1! 2! … BOBBY ROODE WON’T GIVE UP!

Time for some high-risk offense, Okada goes up top. Diving elbow drop but Roode rolls away. Knife-edged chops, delayed vertical suplex followed by a second rope blockbuster.

1! 2! … KICKOUT!

Roode is calling for the end, he grabs Okada’s head but gets hit with a back body drop. Okada grabs the wrist of Roode, spins him around… BUT GETS CAUGHT BY A ROLL-UP!

1! 2! … NO!

Roode doesn’t waste and motion, he goes for a lariat, but Okada ducks the line and strikes with a surprise German suplex, grabs the wrist again… RAINMAKER! HE HITS IT!

1! 2! … 3! ROODE DOESN’T SURVIVE! Okada wins.

[Match time: 16 minutes 20 seconds]

Don Callis immediately gets into the ring to raise his client, Okada’s hand. Grinning from ear to ear he is very happy with the progression Okada has made in the tournament.

Bobby Roode sits in the corner, devastated that he lost his chance to become world champion again. Don Callis points and laughs at him, but he doesn’t rise to it, he’s just lost in his depression of his dream being taken away from him.

[A graphic shows on the screen for a match on Velocity next week: Mistico or Kota Ibushi vs Kazuchika Okada]

Corey:

“And here you have it, another emphatic win from Kazuchika Okada who will go on to face either Mistico or Kota Ibushi next week for a spot at Ground Zero!”

Renee:

“It sure will be a good contest but I do wonder, what’s next for Bobby Roode?”

[Cut to backstage where Christy Hemme is interviewing Nick Wayne]

Chirsty Hemme:

“I am here with Nick Wayne, Nick after your match with Bobby Roode two weeks ago, Raven was watching over you both, do you have any idea why?”

Nick Wayne:

“I have no idea, as long as he watches from a far, I don’t really care.”

Christy:

“Well, what’s next for you?”

Nick:

“I want the mystery title, I want gold around my waist and I’ll do whatever it takes to get…”

Raven:

“Anything it takes? I can help with that. I have a plan for my Flock… You’ll get that title.”

Nick:

“No way, I’m not joining you and your stupid cult.”

Raven:

“Hahaha, what makes you think I was asking? But don’t worry, I see where your head is at.”

Raven gives a thumbs up.

Nick:

“A thumbs up? Don’t thumbs up me, we are not good.”

Raven:

“It wasn’t for you…”

GORE! Rhyno hits like a freight train, snatching the soul of Nick Wayne from his body nearly slicing him in two.

Raven:

“You have time to accept your fate but it’s not long. Choose wisely or be forced into a decision.”

[Cut back to the arena]

Corey:

“Raven has sent a very strong message to Nick Wayne.”

Renee:

“But why? Why does Raven want Nick Wayne to join him? What are his plans for the future?”

Corey:

“Unfortunately we won’t get answers today. He also has a big match next week against Kenny Omega, maybe this will take his focus away as Nick didn’t fall inline.”

[Fraxiom make their entrance]

Fraxiom stand in the ring awaiting L.A.X, as they wait, Low-Ki jumps the guard rail and guns it straight for the team. He slides in the ring and stands about a meter away. Fraxiom are spooked, they franticly look around trying to spot any other members of L.A.X but no-one shows up. Just Low-ki… standing there… staring.

[L.A.X make their entrance]

Renee:

“I think Low-Ki was trying to intimidate the younger team.”

Monumental Wrestling men’s tag team championship tournament, semi-finals.

Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom) vs L.A.X (Homicide & Hernandez)

[The bell rings]

Frazer starts with Homicide and attempts to use his speed to frustrate him early: ducking clotheslines, hitting quick arm drags and landing big dropkicks. Homicide bails to the corner and tags in his partner Hernandez.

The crowd erupts in boos as the much larger Hernandez grabs Frazer by the shoulders and launches him into his corner so he can tag in Axiom.

Axiom tries to chop down the big man with calf kicks, but Hernandez catches him on a springboard attempt and military presses him over the top rope, dumping him the ringside area.

******

Hernandez and Homicide isolate Axiom. As the legal member of L.A.X, Homicide uses stiff strikes and dirty tactics like eye gouging and mask pulling which riles up the crowd. Axiom fights back with a quick roll-up.

1! 2! … Homicide kicks out.

He pops up and lariats Axiom sending him into a flip. Picking him back up he then goes for a suplex but Axiom drops back down spiking Homicide’s head to the mat with a DDT.

TAG! Axiom crawls back to his corner to bring in Frazer and HERE HE COMES! A running forearm rocks Homicide, a dropkick to the knee drops him on to one. Frazer bounces off the ropes for a jumping blockbuster to a kneeling foe!

Hernandez storms the ring to stop the lightning-quick Frazer but gets caught with a flurry of leg kicks. Axiom rushes back in to help, both men run the ropes, striking Hernandez until Homicide gets to his feet. L.A.X rush Fraxiom who pull down the top rope sending them tumbling to the outside. Fraxiom nod to each other, they’re going to suicide dive onto L.A.X outside, they run to the other side of the ring, bounce off the ropes but Low-Ki grabs the foot of Frazer which trips him. Axiom gets half way across the ring before turning around and seeing Frazer arguing with Low-Ki. While distracted Homicide jumps back into the ring and throws Axiom to the outside so Hernandez can send him crashing into the barricade.

Frazer turns back to face Homicide but gets picked up… COP KILLA!

TAG! In comes Hernandez… BORDER TOSS! Frazer flies across the ring!

1! 2! … 3! L.A.X have won!

[Match time: 15 minutes 11 seconds]

L.A.X stand tall in ring as the bodies of Fraxiom lay beaten and bruised.

Corey:

“Fraxiom tried to fire-up and go toe-to-toe with L.A.X but the power and the numbers game were too much for them.”

Renee:

“This means that L.A.X move on to the finals at Ground Zero. We will find out their opponents this Friday as The Dudley Boyz take on War Machine.”

Low-Ki still outside the ring throws Axiom back inside and follows him in. All three of L.A.X stand over the team they’ve just beaten and start laying in kicks and punches, absolutely pummelling Fraxiom.

Renee:

“It’s three vs two, this is an unfair fight, Fraxiom are outnumbered!”

[Mascara Dorada runs down with a chair]

As Mascara enters the ring, Hernandez and Homicide roll out. Mascara swings for Low-Ki who ducks and manages to escape. L.A.X retreat as they realise it’s not worth trying to stop Mascara.

[Mascara Dorada grabs a microphone]

Mascara Dorada:

“LOW-KI, I AM COMING FOR YOU! AND DOMINIK, I’M ESPECIALLY COIMG FOR YOU!”

The crowd roars with excitement as they want to see Low-Ki and Dominik get their comeuppance.

Corey:

“It looks like Mascara wants revenge for the attacks that took him out two weeks ago, Dom and Low-Ki are in for some serious trouble.”

[A graphic shows for a match on Heat this Friday: The Dudley Boyz vs War Machine]

[Mariah May and Zoe Lucas make their entrance]

There are a bunch of flowers and balloons in the ring along with some of the balloons saying “Welcome.”

Mariah May:

“We have gathered you all here today to welcome someone very special to us.”

Zoe Lucas:

“This woman will be the newest Dream Doll and be taken under our wing. Please welcome The Fighting Barbie Doll Chi Chi!”

[Chi Chi makes her entrance]

Chi Chi:

“Thank you all for attending this beautiful welcoming but most importantly, thank you Mariah and thank you Zoe. This is all so beautiful, I feel so loved.”

Mariah:

“You are so loved! We’re so happy we could bring you here. Meeting you in Japan was such a blessing I just knew I had to bring you with me to England at some point and finally that opportunity has come.”

Zoe:

“This truly is such a monumental moment for us, the first step to us becoming icons.”

[Meltear make their entrance]

Zoe:

“NO! GO AWAY! THIS IS OUR MOMENT NOT YOURS!”

Natsupoi:

“You brought another person here who will also run their mouth? That’s so mean.”

Zoe:

“MEAN? You’re the mean ones for coming out here and interrupting us. I get you want to look at the future first ever women’s tag champions, but you should wait until next Saturday.”

Tam Nakano and Mariah May have been staring each other down for the majority of the conversation.

Natsupoi:

“Me and Tam will do everything to make sure those titles come home with us, right Tam?… Tam?”

Zoe, Chi Chi and Natsupoi all notice that Mariah and Tam Nakano have been sizing each other up, not saying a word, just scouting each other. They step-up to each other and the rest try to stop the situation from escalating. Natsupoi manages to get Tam to leave as Mariah stands her ground.

Zoe:

“We’ll see you next Saturday.”

[A graphic shows a match for next week’s Velocity: Fire ‘N Flava vs Laycool vs The Renegade Twins]

Corey:

“Any of these three teams could potentially move on to Ground Zero and face the two teams we’ve just seen in the ring.”

Renee:

“No matter which team wins, they have a tough challenge, however potentially they could capitalise on the rivalry between Meltear and Dream Dollz that seems to be building.”

[Mistico makes his entrance]

[Kota Ibushi makes his entrance]

Monumental Wrestling men’s world championship tournament, quarterfinals.

Mistico vs Kota Ibushi

[The bell rings]

The men circle each other and immediately get into some stiff kicks and fast armdrags. They trade headscissors followed by kip-ups.

Mistico gets the early edge with a springboard armdrag and a spinning headscissors that sends Ibushi to the outside. The crowd roars as Mistico sprints and dives over the top rope with a corkscrew plancha, landing perfectly on Ibushi.

Back in the ring, Mistico tries a springboard crossbody but gets caught and Ibushi turns it into a powerslam.

1! 2! … Kickout!

Mistico uses his speed to fight back, landing a satellite DDT followed by a lionsault. He then throws Ibushi into the corner and hits a running knee, but Ibushi absorbs the strike and fires back with a snap German suplex, followed by a lariat that flips Mistico inside-out.

[A graphic shows on the screen for next week’s Velocity: Kota Ibushi vs Kazuchika Okada]

Corey:

“There you have it, the second semi-final matchup for the men’s world championship tournament. Only one of these men can make it to Ground Zero, who will it be? Find out next Tuesday!”

[Cut backstage to Christy Hemme conducting an interview]

Christy Hemme:

“Charlotte, how are you feeling about tonight’s main event, knowing that you’ll face the winner next week?”

Charlotte Flair:

“I will be paying lots of attention to the match, maybe I’ll even visit them and scout up close.”

Christy:

“Do you have any preference on the winner?”

Charlotte:

“No, both women are fierce competitors, it will be a tough challenge facing either of them. Liv is very dangerous, especially with L.A.X by her side. Mickie has many years of experience to harness upon.”

Christy:

“What’s your strategy for the match?”

Charlotte:

“I can’t tell you that, then the others will know what to do. But gold runs through my veins, I’m a Flair, WOOOOO!”

Christy:

“Thank you, I appreciate your time.”

[Cut back to the arena]

[Hannah Taylor, Wren Sinclair and Karmen Petrovic make their entrance together]

Wren Sinclair:

Karman Petrovic:

“I want redemption after my loss on Heat a few weeks ago. I need to prove I am better than that.”

Hannah Taylor:

“Now that I am back wrestling, I want championship gold, the mystery title would be perfect for me. Any match I can have to get closer to my goal will be won by me.”

[Izzy Dame makes here entrance]

Izzy Dame:

“I’ll make this simple for all, you wanna be tough girls? This Friday on Heat, I want a match. Any of you are welcome to be my first victim, just don’t expect to win… bye.”

[Izzy Dame leaves]

Corey:

“Wow! Izzy Dame has issued an open challenge to either Hannah, Wren or Karmen. Who will accept the challenge? Find out this Friday night on Heat!”

[A graphic shows for this Friday on Heat: Izzy Dame vs either Hannah Taylor, Wren Sinclair or Karmen Petrovic]

Renee:

“No Dominik Mysterio?”

Corey:

“He must be taking Mascara’s threat seriously.”

[Mickie James makes her entrance]

[Charlotte Flair makes her entrance and sits on a chair at ringside]

Corey:

“So, Flair couldn’t help herself but get a better look at her potential competition.”

Monumental Wrestling women’s world championship tournament, quarterfinals.

1! 2! … 3! Liv Morgan wins!
