All Your Wrestling Dev Diary 2.5

Hello and welcome back to the dev diaries! 2.5 I hear you ask. Well, I made a nice little update this week that I thought was worth revealing as an in-between diary. I will also reveal one or two other little bits to get you in the mood for dev diary 3. Lets dive in.

Booking

The booking screen has had an update. On the left, I have added the ability to select teams. I have also made it more clear in the booking screen (center) who is on which team. I also added in the angle section a clearer picture of who is attacking who.

Now, when booking your match, you can choose the finish. There are a whole host of finishes to choose from and you can even pick a wrestler who interferes in the match. These options all have an effect on the show. Book too many dq finishes on your show and the crowd will let you know their thoughts.

Storylines

When booking matches in other games, I would always forget who I had put in storylines together. This would be so frustrating as I would have to leave the booking screen, go to storylines, have a look, remember, then go back to booking.

On AYW Pro Manager, I have added a storylines section just underneath the story hook section on the right. Click on this to reveal a drop down of all the current storylines.

Teams & Factions

Ok, you want more right? 2.5 can’t just be that. So how about teams and factions?

In AYW Pro Manager you can make tag teams, trios and factions. There is no limit on the amount of wrestlers in your faction and there is the option to break the faction up.

Card Roles

Also in the roster section is the card roles screen. Here, you simply drag the wrestlers across into the section you want them in.

So I have dragged Cassia Storm from main event over to jobbers and saved. When you make changes, wrestlers are going to send you a message demanding answers.

What’s Next?

Well that is it for diary 2.5. I will return with, yes you’ve guessed it, Dev Diary 3! In Dev Diary 3, I will go behind the scenes of the finances section. There is plenty to talk about there so that will probably take the entire diary, however I may still include one or two other little bits to keep you excited.
