AYW Fury Episode 7
The episode opens with a massive pyro display, filling the arena with energy as the camera pans over the electric crowd. Fans hold up signs and cheer as the camera cuts to the commentary team.

Michael Cole: “Welcome, everyone, to another wild night here on AYW Fury! We are just two weeks away from our next PPV, Rage in the Cage, and you better believe things are heating up around here!”
Excalibur: “That’s right, Michael! Tonight, we have big matches lined up, some huge rivalries brewing, and who knows what else is going to go down!”
Nigel McGuinness: [smirking] “And with Christian Cage in charge, you know we’re in for some… interesting developments, to say the least.”
The lights dim slightly, and the familiar opening riff of Christian Cage’s entrance music hits. The crowd responds with a chorus of boos as the AYW General Manager steps onto the stage, a smug grin on his face, wearing a sharp suit.
Michael Cole: “Speak of the devil! Here comes the GM himself, Christian Cage.”
Nigel McGuinness: “I must say, there’s something about Christian Cage I find quite admirable. He’s not here to be liked; he’s here to make the tough calls.”
Christian Cage makes his way to the ring, the cocky expression never leaving his face as he grabs a microphone and walks to the center of the ring. He waits for the crowd’s noise to die down before speaking.

Christian Cage: [mockingly] “I know, I know—you all missed me. Let’s get this out of the way: I’m not here for your applause, and I certainly don’t need your approval. I’m here to run things around here the way they should be run. The way only I can.”
The crowd boos louder, but Christian ignores them, pacing in the ring confidently.
Christian Cage: “Now, over the past few weeks, I’ve been watching very closely. Watching as champions are crowned, contenders emerge, and some of you just barely scrape by.” [smirking] “But see, something’s been missing. A title that really means something. A championship that proves you’re not just some flash-in-the-pan, but someone who can carry the weight of this company, week in and week out.”
Christian pauses, letting the crowd take in his words.
Christian Cage: “So, starting right now, I am introducing a new championship—one that will be defended regularly on AYW Fury. I present to you… the AYW Television Championship!”
The crowd pops at the announcement, intrigued by the reveal.
Excalibur: “A Television Championship?! This is huge!”
Michael Cole: “A title that’s defended on Fury regularly… this could change the entire landscape of AYW!”
Nigel McGuinness: “And I’m sure Christian’s going to pick a ‘worthy’ challenger, right?”
Christian Cage: “At Rage in the Cage—in two weeks’ time—we will crown the first-ever Television Champion! There will be a match, a match that will test not just your skill, but your endurance and your heart. And believe me, I’ll be watching very closely to see who’s worthy of stepping into that ring and fighting for this title.”
Christian smirks again, raising the microphone in victory as the crowd buzzes with anticipation.
Christian Cage: “So, to the locker room, consider this your warning. Step up, or get stepped on. Because my AYW is about to get a whole lot more competitive!”
Christian drops the mic with a confident smirk as his music hits again. He exits the ring, leaving the crowd excited for the announcement.
Michael Cole: “What an announcement to kick off Fury! The Television Championship—defended on a regular basis. This is going to be a game-changer.”
Excalibur: “And we’ll find out who’s in the running for it soon! Two weeks away, folks—Rage in the Cage is already shaping up to be incredible!”
Nigel McGuinness: [sarcastically] “I can’t wait to see who Christian hand-picks for this, or should I say… who earns their place.”
The camera fades to a promo package for the upcoming matches as the commentary team continues to discuss the impact of the Television Championship announcement.
The show cuts backstage where Renee Paquette is standing by with a microphone in hand, smiling as the camera focuses on her.

Renee Paquette: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time—Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D..”
The camera pans out to reveal Britt Baker, standing confidently next to Renee with a determined expression. She’s dressed in her signature black and gold gear, her trademark leather jacket slung over her shoulders. The crowd boos audibly in the background, but Britt remains unbothered.
Renee Paquette: “Britt, earlier tonight we heard Christian Cage announce the introduction of the AYW Television Championship, but I understand that’s not the reason you’re here tonight.”
Britt Baker: [cutting Renee off] “You’re damn right it’s not, Renee. Let’s get one thing straight—I’m the face of this division. And no offense to Christian Cage, but I’m not interested in some secondary title. I want the big one. I want Rhea Ripley.”
Britt glares into the camera, her intensity clear.
Britt Baker: “I’ve been here since day one, carrying this division on my back, making every single one of you care about women’s wrestling in AYW. And where’s my title shot? Where’s my opportunity to dethrone Rhea Ripley? I’ll tell you where—it’s been held back. But I’m done waiting. I want my shot at Rage in the Cage. I want Rhea Ripley one-on-one for the AYW Women’s World Championship, and it’s about time someone makes it happen!”
Before Renee can respond, Thunder Rosa appears in the frame, the crowd popping at the sight of her. She’s wearing her signature face paint, and a confident grin crosses her face as she steps in between Renee and Britt.
Thunder Rosa: “Britt, Britt, Britt… always thinking you’re the only one who matters.” [pausing to let the crowd cheer] “You want a title shot? Well, I hate to break it to you, but you’re not the only one who’s been putting in the work. I’ve been on a roll lately, and if anyone deserves a shot at Rhea Ripley, it’s me.”
Britt rolls her eyes, folding her arms across her chest as she stares down Thunder Rosa.
Britt Baker: “You? You’ve been on a roll? That’s cute, Rosa. But let’s not forget—you and I, we have a long history. And every time we’ve faced each other, the world remembers who the real star is… and spoiler alert, it’s not you.”
The tension rises as both women step closer, their eyes locked in a heated stare. Renee steps slightly back, sensing things might escalate, but Thunder Rosa keeps her cool.
Thunder Rosa: [firmly] “This isn’t about the past, Britt. This is about right now. And right now, I deserve that shot. You had your moment. Now it’s my turn.”
Britt sneers, clearly annoyed but holding herself back from throwing any punches.
Britt Baker: “You think you can just walk in here and take what’s mine? I built this division, and nobody—not even you—gets to skip the line.”
Thunder Rosa stands her ground, and the two women exchange tense glances as the crowd buzzes with anticipation. Renee looks between them, unsure if she should intervene.
Renee Paquette: “Clearly, both of you feel strongly about getting the title opportunity at Rage in the Cage, but—”
Before she can finish, Britt and Thunder Rosa turn and storm off in opposite directions, leaving Renee standing awkwardly as the camera fades back to the commentary team.
Michael Cole: “Wow! Things are really heating up in the women’s division. Britt Baker demanding a shot, but Thunder Rosa thinks she’s earned it herself.”
Excalibur: “And she’s not wrong, Cole! Thunder Rosa’s been on fire lately, but Britt Baker makes a valid point—she’s been one of the pillars of this division. This is a tough decision for Christian Cage to make.”
Nigel McGuinness: [sarcastically] “Oh, I’m sure Christian will handle it with complete fairness. I mean, what could possibly go wrong with the ego in that office?”
Michael Cole: “The question now is: how do we decide who gets the shot at Rhea Ripley’s AYW Women’s World Championship at Rage in the Cage? Both Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa have strong claims.”
Excalibur: “I wouldn’t be surprised if Christian Cage has something up his sleeve. We know this GM loves stirring the pot.”
The commentary team continues to speculate as the show transitions to a hype package for the upcoming matches.
Chad Gable vs Buddy Matthews
As the camera returns from the backstage segment, Chad Gable’s entrance music hits the speakers. The crowd gives a strong reaction, and Gable steps out onto the stage, looking laser-focused, adjusting his headgear and wearing his signature singlet. He makes his way down to the ring, slapping hands with a few fans before stepping inside, bouncing on his feet, ready for action.
Michael Cole: “Here we go! Chad Gable, fresh off his massive victory over Bryan Danielson last week, has all the momentum on his side tonight.”
Excalibur: “And what a match that was, Cole! If anyone’s riding high right now, it’s Gable. A win over a legend like Bryan Danielson can launch your career to new heights.”
Nigel McGuinness: [smirking] “I’ll give Gable credit where it’s due. Beating Danielson isn’t something anyone can brag about, but let’s see if he can follow it up tonight. Buddy Matthews is no slouch.”
The lights dim, and a dark, menacing tune begins to play as Buddy Matthews emerges on the ramp. The crowd gives a mixed reaction, recognizing the intensity of Matthews as he makes his way to the ring. He’s focused, his eyes locked on Gable as he steps between the ropes.
Michael Cole: “And speaking of no slouch, here comes Buddy Matthews—House of Black’s powerhouse. This is going to be a real test for Gable tonight.”
Excalibur: “These two are incredible athletes, and with the stakes as high as they are, both of them know what a win tonight could mean. Gable might have his eye on the TV Title picture, but Matthews will want to spoil those plans.”
The bell rings, and the match begins with a respectful but intense lock-up. Gable quickly transitions into a waist-lock, trying to bring Matthews to the mat with his technical prowess, but Buddy powers out, shoving Gable back. The two circle each other, the crowd buzzing with anticipation.
Gable shoots in for a single-leg takedown, but Matthews counters, rolling through and delivering a stiff kick to Gable’s chest. Gable stumbles back, but immediately recovers, showing his agility as he slips behind Matthews and brings him down with a beautiful German suplex! He bridges for the pin attempt:
1… 2—kick out!
Gable wastes no time, immediately applying a grounded waist-lock, trying to keep Matthews on the mat, but Buddy powers up to his feet. He elbows Gable repeatedly, forcing the break, then whips Gable into the ropes and catches him with a running knee strike that rocks Gable!
Nigel McGuinness: “That’s the power of Buddy Matthews, right there! He can change the pace in an instant.”
Excalibur: “And it’s not just his power—Matthews is deceptively fast, and Gable’s going to have to keep his head on a swivel.”
Matthews stays on the attack, hitting Gable with a flurry of strikes, before lifting him up for a snap suplex. Matthews goes for the cover:
1… 2—kick out!
Matthews pulls Gable up and signals for a powerbomb, but Gable counters mid-lift, slipping behind Buddy and rolling him up for a near fall! As both men scramble to their feet, Gable takes advantage, delivering a huge dragon screw leg whip, sending Matthews crashing to the mat. Gable points to the top rope, the crowd cheering in anticipation.
Michael Cole: “Chad Gable’s feeling it! He’s going to the top!”
Gable climbs the turnbuckle, measuring Matthews as he writhes on the mat. He leaps off, executing a flawless Diving Moonsault and connects perfectly! He hooks the leg for the cover:
1… 2… 3!
The bell rings as Chad Gable gets the victory, his hand raised by the referee. The crowd cheers, and Gable soaks in the moment, clearly elated after back-to-back wins.

Michael Cole: “Chad Gable does it again! A huge victory over Buddy Matthews, and you have to think that puts him in serious contention for the Television Championship at Rage in the Cage!”
Excalibur: “He’s been on a roll, Cole. With a win over Bryan Danielson last week and now a victory against Matthews, Gable is making a strong case for that TV Title match!”
Nigel McGuinness: “He’s got all the momentum right now. But let’s not forget—Gable loves running his mouth. I have a feeling he’s not done talking just yet.”
Gable grabs a microphone from ringside, still catching his breath. He looks out into the crowd, a confident smirk forming as he raises the mic to his lips.
Chad Gable: “Bryan Danielson…”
The crowd immediately reacts, buzzing as Gable calls out the name of the legendary competitor he defeated last week.
Chad Gable: “Last week, I did what many thought was impossible. I stepped into this ring, face-to-face with the ‘American Dragon,’ and I walked out with the win. And now look at me—two straight victories. Buddy Matthews down, Bryan Danielson down. And you know what that means?”
Gable pauses, his grin growing wider as he addresses the fans.
Chad Gable: “It means you, Bryan, aren’t the best technical wrestler in the world anymore. That title belongs to me now.” [He smirks, wiping his brow] “I mean, don’t get me wrong, you gave it your all. But in the end, you just couldn’t hang with someone on my level.”
The crowd reacts with mixed cheers and boos, but Gable seems undeterred, pacing the ring.
Chad Gable: “So, Bryan, wherever you are, I hope you’re watching closely. I hope you’re rethinking everything you thought you knew, because from here on out, this is my time. And if you want to prove me wrong, you know where to find me.”
Gable drops the microphone with a cocky smirk as his music hits again. The crowd is buzzing with the tension between him and Bryan Danielson.
Michael Cole: “Chad Gable, sending a direct message to Bryan Danielson after another impressive victory here tonight!”
Excalibur: “Gable’s been backing up every word with performances like that, but I wouldn’t count Bryan Danielson out just yet. You know he’ll have something to say about this.”
Nigel McGuinness: [smirking] “He’s really testing Danielson’s patience here. If Gable keeps this up, he might just get more than he bargained for.”
The camera fades to a promo for the upcoming main event as the show continues.
The camera transitions from Chad Gable’s victorious moment to a shot of Christian Cage’s office backstage. The office is sleek, with dark leather chairs and a large desk in front of him, AYW branding subtly visible on the walls. Christian Cage, dressed sharply as always, sits behind his desk with a self-satisfied smirk on his face, leaning back comfortably. His presence commands attention as the camera zooms in on him.
Christian Cage: [leaning forward, clasping his hands] “Ladies and gentlemen, tonight, I have a very special announcement. With Rage in the Cage just two weeks away, we’re gearing up for an absolutely historic event. And let me tell you, it’s going to be a night no one forgets.”
Christian pauses, as if savoring the power he holds as GM, before continuing.
Christian Cage: “But before we get to Rage in the Cage, we’ve got a little business to settle right here tonight. Earlier, Dr. Britt Baker came storming into my office, demanding a shot at Rhea Ripley’s AYW Women’s Championship. And not to be outdone, Thunder Rosa made it very clear that she thinks she deserves that shot just as much—if not more.”
He chuckles to himself, as if amused by the ambition of the two competitors.
Christian Cage: “Now, I love the passion, I love the fire, but let’s be honest—there’s only one spot for a contender. So, here’s what I’ve decided: tonight’s main event will be Dr. Britt Baker… versus Thunder Rosa… to determine the number one contender for Rhea Ripley’s AYW Women’s Championship at Rage in the Cage!”
The crowd in the arena pops, excited at the thought of such a high-stakes matchup. Christian raises a finger, indicating there’s more to come.
Christian Cage: “But that’s not all. See, I want to make sure that these two women don’t hold anything back. I want to see who truly wants it more. So, this won’t just be any match… oh no. Tonight’s main event will be a No Disqualification match!”
The crowd’s reaction becomes even louder, with cheers and gasps filling the arena. Christian’s smirk widens as he leans back into his chair, clearly proud of his decision.
Christian Cage: “No rules. No limits. Just two of the best going at it with everything on the line. And when it’s all said and done, one of them will be heading to Rage in the Cage for a shot at the Women’s Championship. May the best woman win.”
He pauses for a moment, letting the gravity of the match sink in.
Christian Cage: [smirking confidently] “Oh, and Rhea… I’d suggest you pay close attention. You’re going to want to see who your next challenger is.”
Christian Cage leans back in his chair with a satisfied grin as the camera fades back to the commentary team.
Michael Cole: “A No Disqualification match tonight! Britt Baker versus Thunder Rosa, and the winner will go on to face Rhea Ripley for the Women’s Championship at Rage in the Cage! What a blockbuster main event!”
Excalibur: “These two have a storied history, Cole. And with no disqualifications, they’ll be pulling out all the stops to earn that shot. We’ve seen what both Britt and Thunder Rosa are capable of in these kinds of matches, and I’ve got no doubt this is going to be explosive.”
Nigel McGuinness: [grinning slyly] “I don’t know if we’re going to have a ring left by the end of the night. Thunder Rosa and Britt Baker in a No DQ match? Christian Cage is a genius! Let them tear each other apart.”
Michael Cole: “It’s a dangerous situation for both women, but the prize at the end— a shot at Rhea Ripley’s title—makes it all worth it. What a main event we’ve got in store tonight!”
The screen shows a graphic for the main event, hyping up the No DQ match between Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa, before cutting to a commercial break.
The scene cuts backstage to the arena parking lot. The rumble of a motorcycle echoes through the lot as Rhea Ripley, decked out in her signature leather jacket and dark shades, rides into the building on her sleek black bike. She parks and swings her leg over, stepping off with a casual confidence. The AYW Women’s World Championship is draped over her shoulder, gleaming under the fluorescent lights.
Rhea removes her helmet, tossing her hair back, and adjusts her jacket before looking around with an intense, focused expression. Her presence is unmistakably dominant. With a smirk, she throws her championship belt over her shoulder and strides toward the arena entrance.
The camera lingers on her for a moment as she walks, before cutting back to the commentary desk.
Michael Cole: “And there she is, the AYW Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley! You’ve got to wonder what she’s thinking, knowing she’ll be facing either Britt Baker or Thunder Rosa at Rage in the Cage.”
Excalibur: “Ripley’s got that championship swagger, but you know she’s keeping a close eye on tonight’s main event. Whoever wins that No DQ match is going to give her a run for her money.”
Nigel McGuinness: [chuckling] “She’s not sweating, though. Rhea Ripley’s as tough as they come. But after tonight’s main event, she might just have a real fight on her hands at Rage in the Cage.”
The screen then shifts to a graphic of the upcoming No DQ match, hyping the main event once more.
Top Flight vs. The Acclaimed
The camera cuts back to the ring as Top Flight—Darius Martin and his temporary partner, Blake Christian (filling in for Dante Martin due to his injury)—are already in the ring, warming up and ready for action. The crowd buzzes with excitement as the music for The Acclaimed hits. Max Caster and Anthony Bowens come out with their usual swagger, microphones in hand.
Max Caster: [rapping as they head to the ring]
“Yo, Top Flight, you’re about to crash and burn,
Y’all ain’t even in Dante’s league, now it’s Blake’s turn!
We’re The Acclaimed, and we’ll make you fall flat,
Gonna send you home like Christian in a body bag, how ‘bout that?”
The crowd roars with laughter and applause, and Bowens raises the mic as they stand on the apron.
Anthony Bowens: “AYW, The Acclaimed have arrived!”
With the crowd firmly behind them, The Acclaimed get into the ring, ready for their match.
The bell rings, and it’s Blake Christian starting off against Max Caster. The two lock up in the center of the ring, with Blake using his speed to gain the early advantage. He flips out of a wristlock and hits the ropes, coming back with a dropkick that catches Caster off guard. Darius Martin tags in, and Top Flight immediately shows off their high-flying teamwork with a double-team move, sending Caster down with a combination springboard clothesline and dropkick.
Caster crawls to the corner and tags in Anthony Bowens, who charges in and immediately takes control with a series of hard strikes. Bowens floors Darius with a stiff kick to the chest, then hits a standing elbow drop, covering him for a two-count. Bowens pulls Darius up and whips him into the corner, following up with a running clothesline.
Top Flight manages to turn the tide as Darius ducks a clothesline and hits a step-up enziguri, dazing Bowens. He tags Blake Christian back in, who goes to the top rope and launches off with a high crossbody, taking Bowens down!
*The action speeds up as all four men end up in the ring. Blake Christian takes out Caster with a suicide dive to the outside, while Darius goes for a high-risk move off the top rope. However, Bowens dodges the attack, and Darius crashes to the mat. Bowens seizes the moment and tags Caster, who slides back into the ring and hoists Darius up for a big *Mic Drop* elbow off the top rope!*
Caster covers for the pin.
1… 2… 3!
Winners: The Acclaimed via pinfall
The Acclaimed celebrate their victory, climbing the ropes to play to the crowd as their music blasts through the arena. Max Caster and Anthony Bowens exchange confident high-fives, while Blake Christian helps Darius out of the ring.
Michael Cole: “A big win here for The Acclaimed!
Excalibur: “Top Flight gave it their all, but The Acclaimed just had that chemistry tonight. Max Caster and Anthony Bowens are showing exactly why they’re a force to be reckoned with in AYW.”
Nigel McGuinness: “The Acclaimed look better and better each week, and with Rage in the Cage on the horizon, it’s going to be interesting to see how the tag team division shapes up. Who will step up to challenge them?”
The camera pans over to The Acclaimed, who are still celebrating in the ring with their titles, as the show cuts to a backstage segment.
The camera cuts backstage to a dimly lit area, where Bronson Reed is standing, his massive frame dominating the scene. He’s in his usual ring gear, the intensity radiating off him. The camera zooms in on his face as he smirks, the kind of smirk that suggests he’s about to unleash more destruction. Behind him is a backdrop with the AYW logo, but it’s barely noticeable compared to Reed’s presence.
Bronson Reed: [slowly, with a dangerous edge to his voice] “Last week, I told everyone that Cody Rhodes was nothing but a stepping stone. I told the world that I would crush him. And guess what? I did.”
Reed chuckles darkly, his eyes narrowing as the camera zooms in further.
Bronson Reed: “Cody Rhodes? Sent packing. Home for good. He’s done. You all can forget about your ‘American Nightmare’ because now… he’s living his nightmare. I destroyed him, and he’s never coming back.”
Reed’s smirk fades, replaced with a scowl as he leans closer to the camera.
Bronson Reed: “But I’m not done. Oh no, I’m just getting started. Rage in the Cage is coming up, and there’s one man standing in my way now. One man who everyone says is ‘too dangerous.’ One man who thinks he’s the baddest in this company.”
He cracks his neck, the tension in the air building.
Bronson Reed: “Samoa Joe.”
The mention of Joe’s name brings a flicker of pure aggression to Reed’s face.
Bronson Reed: “Joe, you might be a monster, but you’re looking at a tsunami. At Rage in the Cage, I’m going to do to you exactly what I did to Cody. I’m going to break you, and there’s not a damn thing you can do about it. You want to talk about being the toughest? We’ll see who’s left standing when I’m done.”
Reed leans even closer, his voice lowering to a menacing whisper.
Bronson Reed: “Joe, at Rage in the Cage… you’re finished.”
Reed steps back, his eyes burning with intensity as the camera lingers on him for a moment before fading out.
Michael Cole: “Bronson Reed is a force of nature, and after what he did to Cody Rhodes, you have to wonder—can anyone stop him? Even Samoa Joe?”
Excalibur: “He just sent a clear message to Samoa Joe. Bronson Reed is making it known that at Rage in the Cage, he’s planning to end Joe’s career. This is going to be a war.”
Nigel McGuinness: [smirking] “Joe may be tough, but after what we’ve seen from Bronson Reed lately, I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re witnessing the rise of the most dangerous man in AYW.”
The show cuts to a commercial break as the tension builds for the upcoming clash between Reed and Joe.
The show comes back from commercial, and we’re backstage where The Acclaimed—still riding high after their victory over Top Flight—are walking through the halls, laughing and joking about their win. Max Caster and Anthony Bowens are clearly in a good mood, still feeling the energy from the match.
Max Caster: [grinning] “Top Flight? More like grounded flight! Another one bites the dust, baby.”
Anthony Bowens: “That’s right! The Acclaimed are on top, and soon those tag titles are gonna—”
Before Bowens can finish his sentence, a pair of shadows move behind them. Out of nowhere, The Young Bucks—Matt and Nick Jackson—blindside The Acclaimed with a vicious attack! Nick Jackson slams a steel chair into Bowens’ back, sending him crashing to the floor. Caster turns around in shock, but Matt Jackson immediately nails him with a superkick that echoes through the hallway.
Matt Jackson: “You didn’t see this one coming, did you?!”
Nick picks up Caster and slams him headfirst into a nearby equipment crate, while Bowens tries to crawl away, only for Matt to stomp him down. The Bucks continue the brutal assault, showing no mercy. Matt picks up the chair and repeatedly slams it into Bowens, while Nick grabs Caster by the hair, shoving him into a wall.
The Young Bucks, breathing heavily but smiling, finally stop the attack. They look down at the fallen Acclaimed, both men barely moving, and then turn their attention to the camera.
Nick Jackson: [smirking as he steps forward] “You two thought you were top of the food chain, huh? Thought you could ride your little victory all the way to the tag team titles?”
Matt Jackson: [mocking tone] “Guess again. We’re The Young Bucks. We built this division, and at Rage in the Cage, those tag team titles are coming home to us.”
Nick kneels next to Max Caster, gripping his chin and forcing him to look into the camera.
Nick Jackson: “Tell your boys, tell everyone—The Young Bucks are back, and we’re taking what’s ours.”
With one final shove, Nick drops Caster’s head to the ground. The Bucks stand over The Acclaimed, posing arrogantly for the camera as officials rush in to check on Bowens and Caster.

Michael Cole: “What a disgusting attack by The Young Bucks! They’ve made it crystal clear—they want those tag team titles at Rage in the Cage!”
Excalibur: “This is the kind of ruthless, opportunistic Young Bucks we haven’t seen in a long time. They just laid out The Acclaimed, sending a loud and clear message to the entire division.”
Nigel McGuinness: [laughing] “You’ve got to love it! The Bucks are reminding everyone exactly who they are, and frankly, they might just walk into Rage in the Cage and walk out with the gold.”
The camera lingers on The Acclaimed being attended to by medical staff as the show cuts to the next segment.
Lio Rush vs Braun Strowman
As we return to the arena, the crowd is already buzzing as Lio Rush’s music hits. The “Man of the Hour” makes his way to the ring, full of energy and ready to take on one of the most dangerous men in AYW.
Michael Cole: “Lio Rush may have speed on his side, but tonight he faces the colossal Braun Strowman. This is going to be a huge test for the smaller competitor.”
Excalibur: “Lio’s going to need all the speed and agility in the world if he’s going to have a shot at surviving Braun Strowman.”
Rush enters the ring, bouncing off the ropes, unfazed by the challenge ahead. The atmosphere in the arena shifts as Braun Strowman’s music hits, and the monstrous Strowman steps through the curtain, flanked by Samoa Joe. The crowd roars in response, the presence of these two powerhouses drawing massive attention. Strowman marches down to the ring, glaring at Lio, while Samoa Joe takes his place at ringside, arms folded, a watchful eye on the match.
The bell rings, and Lio Rush wastes no time, darting around the ring to avoid Braun’s grasp. He uses his speed to land quick kicks and punches, trying to chop the giant down, but Braun seems unfazed by the strikes.
Rush bounces off the ropes and comes flying in with a springboard dropkick that staggers Strowman slightly. He follows up with another quick move, going for a low dropkick to the knees, but Braun catches him mid-air!
With a massive roar, Strowman lifts Rush effortlessly and slams him into the mat with a huge powerslam. The crowd erupts as Strowman grabs Rush by the head and lifts him up again, tossing him across the ring like a rag doll.
Lio tries to recover, using the ropes to pull himself up, but Braun charges across the ring and crushes him with a devastating running body block that nearly flips Rush over.
Nigel McGuinness: [laughing] “This isn’t a match, this is a demolition!”
Braun, looking to finish the match, signals for his signature move. He scoops Lio up, hoisting him high into the air and delivering a thunderous Running Powerslam. The ring shakes from the impact as Strowman makes the cover.
1… 2… 3!
Winner: Braun Strowman via pinfall

Braun stands tall, glaring down at the fallen Lio Rush as Samoa Joe steps into the ring. Joe claps for Braun’s dominant performance, the two men sharing a brief nod of respect. Joe then turns toward the camera, grabbing the microphone handed to him by the ring announcer. He adjusts his towel on his shoulder and stares coldly into the lens.
Samoa Joe: [calm but menacing] “Bronson Reed… you talk a big game, son. You say you’re going to end me at Rage in the Cage. But here’s the thing, Reed. I’ve fought monsters, I’ve fought giants, I’ve fought men who would make you look like a little puppy. And every single one of them… they fell.”
Joe’s voice lowers, dripping with confidence and danger.
Samoa Joe: “You think you’re going to walk into Rage in the Cage and do to me what you did to Cody? Nah, kid. I’m not Cody. You’re walking into a fight with a man who lives for destruction, a man who’s been breaking bones and taking souls for longer than you’ve been running your mouth.”
He leans closer to the camera, his expression cold and deadly.
Samoa Joe: “At Rage in the Cage, Reed, the only career that’s getting ended… is yours.”
With that, Joe tosses the mic down, staring intensely into the camera as Braun Strowman stands beside him, arms crossed, looking just as menacing. The camera lingers on the two powerhouses before cutting to the next segment.

Michael Cole: “Strong words from Samoa Joe! This collision with Bronson Reed at Rage in the Cage is shaping up to be an absolute war!”
Excalibur: “Joe made it clear—he’s not intimidated by Bronson Reed, and if anything, Reed might have bitten off more than he can chew.”
Nigel McGuinness: “Samoa Joe isn’t one to play games. If Bronson Reed thinks he’s going to bulldoze Joe like everyone else, he’s got another thing coming. Rage in the Cage can’t come soon enough!”
Willow Nightingale vs. Skye Blue
The show returns from a commercial break, and the atmosphere in the arena shifts as Skye Blue’s music hits. The young up-and-comer makes her way to the ring, looking focused and determined, knowing she has a tough challenge ahead. Skye slaps hands with fans on her way down the ramp, her energy infectious as the crowd cheers her on.
Michael Cole: “Skye Blue has shown a lot of heart since arriving in AYW, but tonight she’s going up against the powerhouse Willow Nightingale.”
Excalibur: “Willow’s been on an absolute roll lately, and she’s making a real case for being in the women’s title picture.”
Skye steps into the ring and stretches out, glancing toward the entrance as Willow Nightingale’s upbeat and lively music hits. The crowd pops as Willow, always a fan favorite, bounces out onto the stage with her signature smile, exuding positivity despite her dominating presence. She high-fives fans as she makes her way to the ring, ready to continue her winning streak.

Nigel McGuinness: “I love Willow Nightingale’s energy, but don’t let that fool you—this woman is a powerhouse, and Skye’s got a real uphill battle tonight.”
Willow enters the ring, waving to the fans before focusing her attention on Skye. The two competitors meet in the center of the ring, shaking hands in a show of sportsmanship before the referee signals for the bell to ring.
The match begins with a traditional lock-up, but it quickly becomes apparent that Willow’s strength is going to be a major factor. She easily overpowers Skye, pushing her into the corner before the referee calls for a break. Willow releases Skye and gives her a respectful nod, but Skye knows she’ll need to rely on speed and agility to stand a chance.
Skye tries to use her quickness, darting around Willow and landing a series of quick kicks to the legs and midsection. She bounces off the ropes and goes for a crossbody, but Willow catches her in mid-air, showing off her impressive strength! With a smile, Willow powers Skye up and delivers a fallaway slam that sends Skye flying across the ring.
Michael Cole: “The strength of Willow Nightingale! Skye’s going to have to come up with something special here.”
Willow continues to dominate the early parts of the match, hitting Skye with a huge shoulder tackle and then lifting her for a vertical suplex that she holds in the air for a moment, showing off her strength before dropping Skye to the mat with authority.
Skye struggles to get back into the match, but she shows resilience, ducking a clothesline and firing back with a dropkick to Willow’s chest. Willow stumbles back slightly, and Skye takes advantage, climbing to the top rope for a high-risk maneuver. She leaps off, connecting with a missile dropkick that finally brings Willow down to the mat! The crowd pops as Skye scrambles for the cover.
1… 2… Kickout!
Willow powers out with authority, but Skye stays focused, quickly going back on the offensive with a series of forearm strikes and a spinning heel kick that lands flush. Skye runs to the ropes, looking for a springboard move, but as she bounces off, Willow catches her with a devastating Pounce that sends Skye flying halfway across the ring!
Nigel McGuinness: “She just got launched like a rocket! That might be all she wrote for Skye Blue!”
Willow gets back to her feet, the crowd fully behind her as she signals for the end. She picks up Skye and hoists her onto her shoulders in a fireman’s carry position, walking around the ring with ease. With a huge smile, Willow plants Skye with a Doctor Bomb, slamming her into the mat with a thunderous impact.
1… 2… 3!
Winner: Willow Nightingale via pinfall
Willow gets to her feet, raising her arms in victory as the crowd cheers her on. Skye Blue rolls to the side, clutching her ribs, but showing a lot of heart even in defeat.
Michael Cole: “A dominant win for Willow Nightingale, continuing her incredible momentum here in AYW.”
Excalibur: “Willow is making a strong case for a future title shot. She’s got the fans behind her, and after a performance like that, it’s hard to argue.”
Nigel McGuinness: “If I were Rhea Ripley, I’d be keeping a close eye on Willow. She’s got all the tools to be a serious contender in this division.”
Willow continues celebrating in the ring as the camera cuts to a commercial break, leaving her as the clear powerhouse on the rise in the women’s division.
In-Ring Promo – Roman Reigns
The camera returns from a commercial break, and the arena dims as the familiar sound of Roman Reigns’ theme music echoes throughout the arena. The crowd reacts with a mix of boos and cheers, the energy palpable as “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns steps out onto the stage, flanked by the imposing Rhea Ripley. Both look confident, their presence commanding immediate attention. Roman slowly makes his way down the ramp, his stoic demeanor never faltering, while Rhea walks beside him, carrying her AYW Women’s World Championship proudly on her shoulder.
Michael Cole: “Here comes Roman Reigns, and with him, the champion Rhea Ripley. These two have been dominant forces in AYW, and tonight, it looks like Roman has a few things he wants to address.”
Excalibur: “With Rage in the Cage just two weeks away and Roman set to face Jon Moxley for the AYW World Championship, you know tensions are about to rise.”
Roman and Rhea enter the ring, Reigns slowly raising his arms as the arena acknowledges him. Rhea stands tall beside him, her championship gleaming under the lights. Roman grabs a microphone, looking out at the sea of fans before speaking.
Roman Reigns: “Jon Moxley…”
The mention of Moxley’s name gets a loud reaction from the crowd, a mixture of cheers for the fan-favorite and boos from Roman’s supporters.
Roman Reigns: “You and I… we’ve got history. We’ve fought side by side, we’ve fought against each other, and every time… I come out on top.”
The crowd buzzes as Roman begins pacing around the ring, his cold eyes never leaving the camera.
Roman Reigns: “Mox, you’re a tough guy, right? You’re the guy who loves violence. You thrive in chaos. But the thing is, I know you, Mox. I know every little thing about you. I know how you think, I know how you fight, and I know how to beat you.”
Roman pauses, his confidence oozing as he glares into the camera.
Roman Reigns: “At Rage in the Cage, I’m walking into that match knowing exactly what I need to do to remain at the top of this business. This…”
He points to the middle of the ring.
Roman Reigns: “…this is my ring. This is my world, and Mox, you’re just another guy in it.”
The crowd continues to react, but Roman remains laser-focused, his voice never wavering.
Roman Reigns: “And Christian Cage… our General Manager…”
Roman’s tone changes as he shifts his focus to the GM, causing a stir in the crowd.
Roman Reigns: “Let me make this real clear, Christian. Stay out of my business. I don’t care what you think you’re doing, but this match—this world title—is between me and Moxley. You want to be involved? Fine. But don’t make the mistake of trying to play games with me. You’ll regret it.”
Roman’s words are filled with menace as the crowd reacts, some chanting for Jon Moxley, while others boo Roman’s arrogance. Suddenly, the lights flicker, and the theme music of AYW General Manager Christian Cage hits. The fans react loudly as Cage appears on the stage, microphone in hand and a sly smile across his face. He raises the mic, keeping his distance from the ring.
Christian Cage: “Roman, Roman, Roman… you’re always so sure of yourself. Always the Tribal Chief, always in control… until you’re not.”
The crowd buzzes, sensing the tension rising between the two men.
Christian Cage: “You see, Roman, I don’t need to stay out of anything. In fact, it’s my job to make sure that Rage in the Cage is bigger, better, and more chaotic than anything you’ve ever been a part of.”
Christian smirks, pacing at the top of the ramp.
Christian Cage: “As for your match with Jon Moxley… let’s just say I’ve got a few things in mind that are going to make that match… very interesting.”
Roman stares him down, eyes narrowing as Christian’s cryptic words linger in the air.
Christian Cage: “But hey, don’t worry, Roman. You’ve always got it all figured out, right? Let’s see if that’s still the case when you step inside that cage with Moxley… because trust me, when I’m done, the only thing you’ll be certain of is how unpredictable I can be.”
With that, Christian drops the mic and exits the stage, leaving Roman and Rhea standing in the ring. Roman clenches his jaw, visibly frustrated by Christian’s veiled threats. Rhea smirks, clearly amused by the tension, as Roman stares up the ramp.
Michael Cole: “Christian Cage with some ominous words for Roman Reigns! What does the GM have planned for Rage in the Cage?”
Excalibur: “I don’t think Roman liked hearing that. It sounds like Christian’s got something major in mind for that world title match!”
Nigel McGuinness: “Christian is a master manipulator, and if I were Roman, I’d be keeping one eye over my shoulder, because you never know what Cage is cooking up!”
Roman and Rhea remain in the ring, the Tribal Chief simmering with anger as the show cuts to commercial, leaving fans on edge for what’s to come at Rage in the Cage.
The camera cuts to Renee Paquette standing by with Jon Moxley in a dimly lit corridor. Moxley leans against the wall, his usual intensity radiating as he stares down the camera.
Renee Paquette:
“Jon, a lot of speculation swirling around tonight. Christian Cage has been pulling strings, and people are wondering—are you in any way aligned with him heading into Rage in the Cage?”
Moxley smirks, rubbing his jaw as if pondering the question. He takes a moment before looking straight into the camera, eyes fierce.
Jon Moxley:
“Renee, I don’t play politics. I fight. Cage can do whatever the hell he wants… but me? I’m gonna do what I always do—raise hell and break bones. That’s all you need to know.”
He gives a final smirk and walks off, leaving Renee and the viewers with more questions than answers.
[Commentary]
Michael Cole: “Moxley leaving us all guessing! Is he playing his own game, or is there more to this?”
Excalibur: “One thing’s for sure—Moxley doesn’t need anyone’s help, but you never know what Christian Cage has up his sleeve.”
Main Event: No DQ Match – Thunder Rosa vs. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.
The crowd is buzzing as Thunder Rosa and Dr. Britt Baker make their entrances, the tension palpable between these two fierce competitors. The ring announcer steps aside, and the bell rings to start this No DQ match, with the winner earning a shot at Rhea Ripley’s AYW Women’s World Championship at Rage in the Cage.
[Opening Moments]
Thunder Rosa charges at Britt immediately, swinging with wild forearms that drive Baker into the corner. Rosa continues to lay into her with relentless strikes. Britt tries to counter with a knee to the gut, but Rosa blocks it, whipping her into the opposite corner and following up with a running dropkick to Baker’s midsection.
The action quickly spills outside the ring as Rosa grabs a steel chair from under the apron and swings it toward Baker. Britt narrowly dodges, causing Rosa to slam the chair into the ring post with a loud clang. Britt capitalizes by grabbing Rosa and tossing her face-first into the barricade, turning the tide.
[Mid-Match Chaos]
Baker starts dismantling the ringside area, pulling out a kendo stick and viciously striking Rosa across the back multiple times. Rosa writhes in pain but manages to crawl back into the ring, with Britt following close behind. Baker sets up for her infamous Lockjaw submission, but Rosa counters, rolling through and sending Britt shoulder-first into the turnbuckle.
Rosa, fired up, climbs the ropes and delivers a diving missile dropkick, leveling Baker! The crowd erupts as Rosa grabs the kendo stick Baker introduced and begins dishing out payback, cracking it over Baker’s back. Thunder Rosa, clearly fired up, rolls outside again and pulls out a table, setting it up near the apron to the crowd’s delight.
[Table Spot]
Rosa drags Britt to the outside, positioning her near the table. She looks to suplex Baker through the wood, but Britt fights back, elbowing Rosa repeatedly in the side of the head. With a surge of adrenaline, Baker slams Rosa’s face into the ring apron and hoists her up—attempting to powerbomb her through the table!
Rosa, sensing danger, wiggles free and lands behind Baker. In a desperate move, she sweeps Baker’s legs out from under her and delivers a brutal spinebuster, driving her through the table! The crowd erupts with chants of “AYW! AYW!” as both women lay in the wreckage, the match teetering on chaos.
[Final Moments]
Both competitors, exhausted and battered, manage to crawl back into the ring, where they exchange stiff strikes, each trying to finish the other. Thunder Rosa gains the upper hand and sets Britt up for the Fire Thunder Driver—but as she’s about to execute it, Toni Storm rushes down the ramp!
Storm slides into the ring, clearly targeting Britt Baker. As Britt stumbles to her feet, Toni blasts her with a brutal running hip attack, sending her crashing to the mat. The crowd is stunned as Toni smirks and exits the ring, leaving Thunder Rosa confused but with an opening.
Rosa, capitalizing on the chaos, pulls Britt to her feet and hits the Fire Thunder Driver in the middle of the ring! She covers—
1… 2… 3!
Winner: Thunder Rosa
The bell rings, and Thunder Rosa is victorious, earning a shot at the AYW Women’s Championship. She stands tall, but her eyes are locked on Toni Storm, who is walking back up the ramp with a smug grin on her face.

[Commentary]
Michael Cole: “Thunder Rosa has done it! She’s the number one contender, but what on earth was Toni Storm thinking?!”
Excalibur: “Toni just cost Britt Baker the match! Is this a personal vendetta or part of a bigger plan?”
Nigel McGuinness: “Rosa may have won the battle, but with Toni Storm lurking, things just got a whole lot more complicated!”
Thunder Rosa celebrates in the ring as the show goes off the air, while Britt Baker lays on the mat, seething with anger after the shocking betrayal.
