AYW FURY EP 6

All Your Wrestling By All Your Wrestling 16 Oct 2024 27 min read

The show opens with pyro and a wide shot of the buzzing crowd in the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The arena is packed, with an attendance of around 13,500 fans, creating an electric atmosphere.

Michael Cole: “Welcome to Episode 6 of All Your Wrestling Fury! We are coming to you live from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the sold-out PPG Paints Arena!

Excalibur: “That’s right, Cole. We’ve got a stacked card tonight, and we’re in for some incredible action!”

Nigel McGuinness: [smirking] “I can’t wait to see the look on Jon Moxley’s face after tonight. Samoa Joe’s not done with Bronson Reed yet, and let’s not forget Reigns and Rhea Ripley—Christian Cage has a surprise for them!”

Match 1: Britt Baker vs. Willow Nightingale

The match kicks off with both competitors receiving loud reactions from the crowd—Britt Baker, the confident and cocky hometown hero, receives a mixed chorus of cheers and boos, while Willow Nightingale is showered with love for her infectious energy and underdog spirit.

Michael Cole: “We’re opening the night with two of AYW’s brightest stars in the women’s division—Britt Baker, Pittsburgh’s own, and Willow Nightingale, who’s quickly becoming a fan favorite everywhere she goes!”

Nigel McGuinness: “Britt Baker has the home-field advantage, but Willow Nightingale has momentum on her side. This should be a fascinating contest.”

Excalibur: “Willow’s power and speed make her a dangerous opponent for anyone, but Baker’s technical prowess is hard to deny.”

The bell rings, and the two women lock up in the center of the ring. Willow quickly powers Baker into the corner, showing off her strength advantage. The referee forces a clean break, but Baker slaps Willow across the face, smirking as the crowd reacts.

Nigel McGuinness: “That’s Britt Baker for you—always looking to get inside her opponent’s head.”

Excalibur: “A slap like that only motivates Willow! You don’t want to poke the bear.”

Willow shakes off the slap, narrowing her eyes as Baker talks trash. The two lock up again, but this time Willow whips Baker into the ropes and floors her with a massive shoulder tackle. Baker scrambles back to her feet, only to be sent crashing down again with a huge spinebuster by Willow, followed by a quick cover.

Michael Cole: “Willow with the power! Baker could be in trouble early—here’s the cover!”

1… 2… Kick out!

Baker kicks out, but she’s clearly rattled. Willow keeps up the pressure, picking Baker up and sending her into the corner with authority. Willow charges in for a running body splash, but Baker sidesteps at the last second, sending Willow crashing into the turnbuckle.

Nigel McGuinness: “Smart move by Baker—let Willow’s own momentum work against her!”

With Willow dazed, Baker seizes control, delivering a stiff forearm shot to the back of Willow’s neck before following up with a series of hard stomps to the midsection. Baker taunts the crowd, drawing more boos, before grabbing Willow and planting her with a swinging neckbreaker. She covers.

1… 2… Willow kicks out!

Excalibur: “Baker showing her vicious streak now, but Willow’s not going down that easily.”

Baker, growing more frustrated, hooks Willow’s arm and attempts to lock in the Lockjaw, but Willow fights out of it, using her strength to push Baker off. Willow fires back with a series of forearms, then lifts Baker onto her shoulders, spinning her around before dropping her with a huge Death Valley Driver in the center of the ring! The crowd explodes as Willow covers.

Michael Cole: “Death Valley Driver! That could be it—Willow going for the win!”

1… 2… No! Britt Baker kicks out just in time!

Nigel McGuinness: “That was close! Willow Nightingale almost pulled off a massive upset here.”

Willow, undeterred, signals for her finishing move, The Babe with the Powerbomb, as she hoists Baker up. But Baker rakes Willow’s eyes just before she can lift her, blinding her temporarily. The referee reprimands Baker, but she shrugs it off, grabbing Willow’s head and delivering a brutal curb stomp into the mat!

Excalibur: “That’s vintage Britt Baker! The curb stomp nearly decapitating Willow!”

Baker quickly hooks the leg for the pin, but Willow kicks out at two-and-a-half, showing her resilience. Frustrated, Baker grabs Willow’s arm again, this time successfully locking in the Lockjaw! She wrenches back hard, using her full weight to force Willow to tap.

Michael Cole: “She’s got the Lockjaw! Willow’s fighting, but she’s trapped in the center of the ring!”

Willow struggles, trying desperately to reach the ropes, but Baker cranks back even harder, digging her glove into Willow’s mouth. Unable to break free, Willow finally taps out.

Winner: Britt Baker

britt baker

Nigel McGuinness: “And there it is! Britt Baker showing why she’s one of the most dangerous women in this division.”

Michael Cole: “A big win for Baker in front of her hometown crowd, but you’ve got to give credit to Willow Nightingale—she fought with everything she had tonight.”

Post-match, Britt Baker stands tall, arms raised as the crowd gives a mixed reaction. She taunts the fans, holding up her Pittsburgh Steelers-inspired ring gear as she soaks in the moment. Willow, despite the loss, gets a respectful applause from the crowd as she recovers in the ring.

Excalibur: “Willow Nightingale may have lost the battle tonight, but she gained even more respect from this crowd with her performance.”

Michael Cole: “And Britt Baker, love her or hate her, continues to make her case as a top contender in the women’s division. She’s got her eyes set on the title, and after a performance like that, she might just get her shot.”

Backstage Segment:

Backstage, Roman Reigns and Rhea Ripley are seen talking when they are interrupted by Christian Cage.

Christian Cage: “You think you’re untouchable? You think aligning yourself with Rhea makes you bulletproof? Let me tell you something—you’re just one wrong move away from disaster. And if you step out of line tonight, there’ll be consequences… serious ones.”

Reigns smirks, sizing up Cage.

Roman Reigns: “You don’t scare me, Christian. You want to come after the Tribal Chief? Make your move. Just remember, I always stay one step ahead.”

Match 2: Chad Gable vs. Bryan Danielson

The arena is buzzing with excitement as the second match of the night is set to begin. Bryan Danielson makes his entrance, the crowd firmly behind him, chanting “Yes! Yes! Yes!” He looks focused but reflective, clearly still wrestling with his inner doubts.

Michael Cole: “Bryan Danielson looks laser-focused tonight, but you have to wonder—how much is self-doubt weighing on his mind right now?”

Excalibur: “Danielson said it himself: he’s questioning whether he still has it, whether he can hang with the younger guys like Chad Gable. This match could be a big test.”

Chad Gable’s music hits, and he makes his way down the ramp, full of confidence. He’s all smiles but clearly focused, aware that a win over Danielson could catapult him up the ranks in AYW.

Nigel McGuinness: “And here comes Chad Gable, one of the best technical wrestlers in the world today. He’s been on a roll lately, and a victory over Bryan Danielson would be the biggest win of his career.”

Michael Cole: “It’s a clash of two of the finest technical wrestlers in the game. The ring is about to become a chessboard!”

The bell rings, and the two lock up in the center of the ring, trading holds and counters in a beautiful display of chain wrestling. The crowd applauds every exchange as Gable keeps pace with Danielson, matching him move for move.

Excalibur: “This is a technical wrestling masterclass! These two are putting on an absolute clinic.”

Nigel McGuinness: “Look at Gable, he’s not intimidated at all. He’s holding his own against one of the greatest wrestlers of our generation.”

Danielson gains the upper hand with a side headlock takedown, but Gable quickly counters with a headscissors, forcing Danielson to keep up. The pace quickens as Danielson tries for a quick LaBelle Lock, but Gable scrambles to the ropes, avoiding the submission.

Michael Cole: “Gable wisely gets to the ropes. He knows he can’t let Danielson trap him in those submissions.”

Gable slows the pace, using his amateur wrestling background to take Danielson down with a waistlock slam. He transitions into a front facelock, applying pressure, but Danielson works his way back to his feet, delivering stiff kicks to Gable’s midsection.

Excalibur: “Those kicks from Danielson, each one like a gunshot!”

Danielson builds momentum with a series of strikes, sending Gable into the corner. He follows up with running dropkicks, each one connecting with brutal force as the crowd counts along.

Crowd: “One! Two! Three! Four!”

On the fifth attempt, Gable sidesteps, causing Danielson to crash into the turnbuckle. Gable immediately capitalizes, lifting Danielson into a beautiful German suplex with a bridge for a near-fall.

Michael Cole: “What a counter by Gable! He almost stole it right there.”

Gable, smelling blood, starts targeting Danielson’s leg, stomping on the knee and locking in a modified kneebar, looking to neutralize Danielson’s signature running knee.

Nigel McGuinness: “This is smart strategy by Gable. Take out Danielson’s knee, and you take away a lot of his offense.”

Danielson struggles, reaching for the ropes, but Gable expertly drags him back to the center of the ring. The crowd begins to rally behind Danielson, chanting his name as he fights through the pain.

Excalibur: “Danielson’s in trouble here, but if anyone can fight through the pain, it’s him.”

Summoning every ounce of strength, Danielson rolls through the hold, flipping Gable over and escaping the kneebar. Danielson gets to his feet, limping slightly, and launches into a series of signature kicks to Gable’s chest.

Crowd: “Yes! Yes! Yes!”

With Gable staggered, Danielson sets up for the Running Knee, charging toward his opponent. But just as he’s about to strike, Gable ducks under, catching Danielson’s leg and spinning him around into a picture-perfect ankle lock!

Michael Cole: “Gable’s got the ankle lock! This could be it!”

The crowd erupts as Danielson struggles in the center of the ring, his face etched with pain. Gable torques the ankle, wrenching it with everything he has, as Danielson claws at the mat, trying to escape.

Nigel McGuinness: “If Gable makes Danielson tap out here, it’ll be the biggest moment of his career!”

Danielson inches toward the ropes, but Gable pulls him back, cinching the hold in tighter. The crowd is on their feet as Danielson raises his hand, teasing a tap-out. But in a last-ditch effort, Danielson rolls through, sending Gable crashing into the turnbuckles.

Excalibur: “Danielson escapes, but he’s hurting! Can he capitalize?”

Danielson pulls himself up, favoring his ankle. He attempts to lock in the LaBelle Lock, but Gable counters, rolling Danielson into a small package! The referee counts:

Referee: “One! Two! Three!”

The crowd gasps as the referee calls for the bell. Gable rolls out of the ring, shocked but elated as he realizes he’s just pinned Bryan Danielson.

Michael Cole: “Gable did it! Chad Gable just pinned Bryan Danielson!”

Excalibur: “What a victory for Gable! That is the biggest win of his career, no doubt about it.”

Nigel McGuinness: “This could be a turning point for Gable. Beating Bryan Danielson? That’s a career-defining moment right there.”

Gable celebrates on the outside, pointing to his head to signify his strategy paid off, while Danielson remains in the ring, seated in the corner, staring at the mat in frustration. The crowd offers a respectful cheer for Danielson as he slowly gets to his feet, visibly shaken by the loss.

Michael Cole: “Bryan Danielson gave it his all, but tonight it was Chad Gable’s night. You have to wonder how much longer Danielson can keep going like this…”

Excalibur: “Danielson said it—he’s questioning himself, and after a loss like that, those doubts will only get louder.”

Match 3: FTR vs. Buddy Matthews and Brody King

Excalibur: “This next match pits the tag team expertise of FTR against the power and brutality of Buddy Matthews and Brody King from the House of Black!”

FTR works their usual precision offense, isolating Buddy Matthews and cutting the ring in half. Brody King gets the hot tag and clears house, but FTR rallies back with their double-team maneuvers. Just as it looks like FTR has the match won, lights flicker, and Matthews hits a low blow on Cash Wheeler while the ref is distracted. Brody King follows up with a devastating Gonzo Bomb for the win.

Winners: Buddy Matthews and Brody King

Nigel McGuinness: “I love it! House of Black showing they’ll do anything to win.”

The scene shifts to the backstage area, where Renee Paquette is standing by with Bryan Danielson. The crowd pops as Danielson appears on screen, still breathing heavily from his match earlier in the night against Chad Gable. He’s dressed in his wrestling gear, a towel draped around his neck, and his face shows a mix of frustration and determination.

Renee Paquette: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, Bryan Danielson. Bryan, earlier tonight you faced off against Chad Gable in what was an incredible technical wrestling showcase, but unfortunately, things didn’t go your way. Can you give us your thoughts on that match and how you’re feeling right now?”

Bryan takes a deep breath, wiping his face with the towel before answering.

Bryan Danielson: (pausing for a moment, clearly frustrated) “You know, Renee, I pride myself on being one of the best technical wrestlers in the world. Tonight, Chad Gable brought it—no doubt about that. He’s a phenomenal athlete. But…”

He pauses, looking down as if searching for the right words. The crowd watches closely, sensing Danielson’s internal struggle.

Bryan Danielson: (with a hint of self-doubt) “There’s something different in me lately. I don’t know if it’s the weight of all the years I’ve put into this business, or if my body’s just… not what it used to be. When you’ve been at the top for so long, there comes a point where you start asking yourself questions you never thought you’d ask.”

Renee Paquette: “Questions like…?”

Bryan Danielson: (looking directly into the camera, intensely) “Like… ‘Do I still have it?’ Every time I step in the ring now, there’s that little voice in the back of my head. ‘Is this your last great match? Are you still the same Bryan Danielson?'”

The crowd reacts, with some fans shouting their support for Danielson. The tension in the air is palpable as he continues.

Bryan Danielson: (more reflective now) “I’ve been doing this for over two decades. I’ve put my body through hell, taken risks that most people wouldn’t even think about, all for the love of this sport. But every match, every loss, makes me wonder if the journey is starting to catch up with me.”

He pauses again, shaking his head, almost as if he’s arguing with himself.

Renee Paquette: “But Bryan, you’ve said before that you’re here in AYW to prove that you’re still the best in the world. After everything you’ve accomplished, what’s driving this doubt?”

Bryan Danielson: (leaning forward slightly, voice filled with intensity) “Because, Renee, it’s not just about being the best in the world anymore. It’s about legacy. It’s about proving that I can still hang with the younger guys, with the Chad Gables of the world, who are just now hitting their prime. I don’t want to be remembered as the guy who couldn’t keep up.”

The emotion in Danielson’s voice is evident as the camera zooms in slightly, capturing his intensity.

Bryan Danielson: “I refuse to be the guy that overstayed his welcome. If I can’t give these fans the Bryan Danielson they deserve, then maybe… maybe it’s time to reconsider things.”

The crowd reacts with a mix of shock and support, some chanting “You still got it!” while others look on in silence, hanging on his every word.

Renee Paquette: (softly) “Bryan, are you saying you’re thinking about—”

Bryan Danielson: (interrupting her, shaking his head) “I don’t know, Renee. I don’t know what the future holds. But I do know this—until the day comes where I can no longer stand, I’m going to keep fighting. I’m going to keep proving to myself, to Chad Gable, and to anyone who doubts me, that Bryan Danielson is still one of the best damn wrestlers on this planet.”

Danielson’s expression hardens, his doubt momentarily replaced by sheer determination.

Bryan Danielson: “And next time I step in the ring, I’m not just going to wrestle to win. I’m going to wrestle like it’s the last match of my career. Because it just might be.”

With that, Danielson walks off, leaving Renee Paquette standing there, looking both concerned and impressed by his words. The camera cuts back to the arena, where the crowd is buzzing after the emotional interview.

Michael Cole: “Wow… Bryan Danielson with some powerful words there. He’s questioning himself, but at the same time, you can see that fire still burning inside him.”

Excalibur: “Danielson has been one of the most resilient, tenacious competitors in wrestling history, but it’s clear this journey is starting to take its toll.”

Nigel McGuinness: “I’ve been in that place, where you start to doubt yourself. But let me tell you, Danielson’s not done. That man still has a lot left in the tank, and when he decides to flip that switch… I wouldn’t want to be standing across the ring from him.”

Michael Cole: “Before we move on, we’ve got an important update on the status of Cody Rhodes. As many of you know, Cody suffered a brutal attack at the hands of Bronson Reed last week, leaving him in serious condition.”

Excalibur: “That attack was vicious. Reed sent a clear message, not just to Cody, but to everyone in the locker room—he’s a force to be reckoned with.”

Nigel McGuinness: “And it’s no surprise that Cody’s been sidelined for the time being. We’ve been hearing from medical staff that he’s dealing with rib injuries and possible internal damage from Reed’s devastating splashes.”

Michael Cole: “Yeah, we’re told Cody’s still recovering at home. As of now, there’s no definitive timeline for his return, but knowing Cody, he’s not going to stay down for long.”

Excalibur: “That’s true, Cole. If there’s anyone who can bounce back from an attack like that, it’s Cody Rhodes.

Michael Cole: “It remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure: Bronson Reed has put a huge target on his back by taking out one of AYW’s biggest stars. We’ll keep you updated on Cody’s status as we learn more.”

Match 4: Thunder Rosa vs. Hikaru Shida

Michael Cole: “Up next, we’ve got two of the fiercest competitors in the women’s division—Thunder Rosa and Hikaru Shida.

Excalibur: “These two have a history of incredible matches, and you can expect no less tonight. Their styles complement each other perfectly—Rosa’s fiery aggression versus Shida’s precision and power.”

The match begins with a respectful handshake before both competitors lock up. Shida quickly takes control with a headlock takeover, keeping Thunder Rosa grounded, but Rosa fights her way out with a series of rapid elbows to the ribs, forcing Shida to break the hold. The pace quickens as Rosa takes Shida down with a snapmare and hits a quick dropkick to the back of Shida’s head.

Nigel McGuinness: “Rosa’s not wasting any time. She knows how dangerous Shida can be, and she’s cutting her off before she builds any momentum.”

Thunder Rosa tries to maintain control, but Shida counters with a hip toss and follows up with a powerful running knee strike to Rosa’s chest, knocking her into the corner. Shida charges, landing a devastating running dropkick to Rosa’s face. Shida pulls Rosa up for a suplex, but Rosa slips out the back, hitting a quick neckbreaker to turn the tide.

Michael Cole: “That’s the resourcefulness of Thunder Rosa! She’s always thinking two steps ahead.”

The match becomes more hard-hitting as both women exchange stiff strikes. Shida connects with a vicious roundhouse kick, but Rosa ducks the second one and hits a German suplex, bridging for a near-fall. Frustrated, Rosa pulls Shida to the corner, delivering a series of vicious chops to the chest before setting her up on the top rope.

Excalibur: “Thunder Rosa’s going high-risk here!”

Thunder Rosa attempts a superplex, but Shida fights her off, sending Rosa crashing to the mat with a well-placed forearm. Shida stands on the top rope, looking for the missile dropkick, but Rosa dodges at the last second. Shida crashes hard, giving Rosa the opening she needs.

Nigel McGuinness: “That could be the mistake that ends it for Shida!”

Rosa seizes the opportunity, dragging Shida to her feet and planting her with a Fire Thunder Driver! She hooks the leg for the pin—1, 2, 3!

Winner: Thunder Rosa

Michael Cole: “What a victory for Thunder Rosa! A hard-fought battle against Hikaru Shida.

Excalibur: “Thunder Rosa proving once again why she’s a top contender in this division.

As Thunder Rosa celebrates, she motions to the Rage in the Cage banner, signaling her intentions to walk out as the AYW Women’s Champion.

Nigel McGuinness: “I wouldn’t bet against her. Rosa has been on fire lately, and tonight was just a preview of what she’s capable of.”

Michael Cole: “And if the rest of the women in the division weren’t paying attention before, they better be now!”

Backstage Interview: Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe is interviewed backstage.

Interviewer: “Joe, what’s your plan for Bronson Reed after what we saw last week?”

Samoa Joe: [smirking] “Reed wants to make a name at my expense? I’ll make sure he regrets ever stepping in my way. Tonight, he gets a taste of what’s coming.”

Match 5: Bronson Reed vs. Braun Strowman

Michael Cole: “Two titans clashing tonight! Bronson Reed, the unstoppable force, versus Braun Strowman, the Monster Among Men!”

Reed and Strowman collide in a hard-hitting brawl. Strowman uses his size and power to overwhelm Reed early on, but Reed fights back with surprising agility. The match turns into a slugfest with Reed hitting a devastating Tsunami off the top rope to score the victory.

Winner: Bronson Reed

Excalibur: “Bronson Reed just pinned Braun Strowman! What a statement!”

Post-Match Segment:

After Bronson Reed secures the victory over Braun Strowman, he barely has time to celebrate before Samoa Joe’s music hits. The crowd erupts into boos as Joe charges down the ramp, storming the ring with fury in his eyes.

Michael Cole: “Wait a minute—here comes Samoa Joe! He’s not wasting any time!”

Nigel McGuinness: “Looks like Joe’s come to collect on that beating he promised Bronson Reed!”

Samoa Joe slides into the ring and blindsides Reed with a brutal running kick to the head. Reed collapses to the mat as Joe stomps away on him mercilessly, each blow landing with sickening thuds. Joe drags Reed to his feet and locks in the Coquina Clutch, choking the life out of him.

Excalibur: “This is disgusting! Samoa Joe is trying to put Bronson Reed out for good!”

Nigel McGuinness: “And he’s doing a damn good job of it!”

Just as Reed looks to be fading, the lights dim, and the familiar sound of Jon Moxley’s entrance music blares through the arena. The crowd explodes as Moxley storms down the ramp, eyes locked on Joe, a wild look in his face.

Michael Cole: “Jon Moxley is here! And he’s heading straight for Samoa Joe!”

Excalibur: “Moxley’s got no love for Bronson Reed, but he’s got even less for Joe!”

Moxley slides into the ring, and Joe releases the hold, standing tall and glaring at Moxley. The two men lock eyes, the tension thick in the air. Without hesitation, Moxley charges at Joe, throwing wild punches that force him to backpedal into the corner. Joe fights back, but Moxley’s relentless barrage is too much. Joe rolls out of the ring to escape the onslaught.

Nigel McGuinness: “Look at this! Moxley’s taking it to Samoa Joe like a man possessed!”

Michael Cole: “Jon Moxley coming to Bronson Reed’s aid, but he’s sending a message to Samoa Joe too!”

Moxley, fists clenched, stands tall in the ring, daring Joe to come back. Joe smirks, backing up the ramp slowly as Moxley’s eyes burn with intensity. He turns his gaze toward Bronson Reed, who’s recovering in the corner.

Instead of helping Reed, Moxley simply nods at him, then turns his back and walks up the ramp without a word, leaving the arena buzzing with speculation.

Excalibur: “Moxley made the save, but it’s clear—he’s not in this for alliances.”

Nigel McGuinness: “Of course not! Moxley’s not the type to play the hero—he’s just looking out for himself.”

Michael Cole: “Tensions are higher than ever!”

As Moxley disappears backstage, the camera cuts to Samoa Joe on the ramp, staring back at Moxley with a cold, calculating expression, knowing their war is far from over.

After the chaos of the Bronson Reed vs. Braun Strowman match, Samoa Joe’s beatdown on Reed, and Jon Moxley’s intervention, the commentators react to the action.

Michael Cole: “What an absolute war that was! Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed nearly tore the ring apart, but look at the aftermath—Samoa Joe and Jon Moxley getting involved as well! This rivalry is far from over.”

Excalibur: “That’s right, Cole. And speaking of rivalries, we’ve got breaking news for you all—at our next PPV, Rage in the Cage, it’s official: Samoa Joe will face Bronson Reed one-on-one inside a steel cage!”

Nigel McGuinness: “Oh, now that’s a match I want to see! Samoa Joe and Bronson Reed locked inside a cage? No way to escape, no outside interference—just two beasts battling it out. Joe better bring everything he’s got because Reed is looking unstoppable lately.”

Michael Cole: “No doubt about it, Nigel. This all started when Samoa Joe called out Reed for being a ‘pretender,’ and Bronson responded by making a statement, taking out everyone in his path, including Cody Rhodes! And after tonight’s showdown, things have only escalated.”

Excalibur: “And let’s not forget—this steel cage match at Rage in the Cage will be about more than just pride. These two are fighting for dominance in AYW. Only one man is going to walk out of that cage victorious.”

Nigel McGuinness: “Samoa Joe may be one of the most dangerous men in the industry, but Bronson Reed has proven he can take anyone down. This is going to be an all-out war at Rage in the Cage!”

Michael Cole: “It’s going to be an unmissable night, folks—Samoa Joe versus Bronson Reed inside a steel cage at Rage in the Cage! Mark your calendars!”

Main Event: Rhea Ripley vs. Skye Blue

Rhea Ripley’s music hits, and the imposing figure of Ripley makes her way to the ring, looking dominant as ever. The crowd gives a mixed reaction—some are drawn to Ripley’s fierce, unapologetic attitude, while others boo her alliance with Roman Reigns. Ripley cracks her knuckles, glaring at the crowd as she steps into the ring.

Michael Cole: “Here comes the dominant Rhea Ripley, who has been an absolute powerhouse since aligning with Roman Reigns. Tonight, though, she faces the scrappy underdog Skye Blue.”

Excalibur: “This is a huge opportunity for Skye Blue. But let’s be honest, Ripley is a different beast altogether.”

Nigel McGuinness: “Ripley’s been unstoppable, but with everything going on with the House of Black, could there be a distraction waiting in the wings?”

Skye Blue’s music plays, and she comes out to a big ovation from the crowd. The young, energetic fan-favorite waves to her supporters as she jogs to the ring, ready to take on the biggest challenge of her career.

Excalibur: “Skye Blue’s got all the heart in the world, but against someone like Rhea Ripley, she’ll need a miracle tonight.”

The bell rings, and Skye Blue immediately goes for a quick dropkick, but Ripley swats her aside like she’s nothing. Ripley smirks, lifting Skye by the hair before slamming her down with a brutal delayed vertical suplex. Ripley maintains complete control, methodically picking apart Skye Blue with power moves, including stiff clotheslines and powerful body slams.

Nigel McGuinness: “Ripley is toying with her! This is just pure dominance.”

Michael Cole: “Skye Blue needs to find some way to counter this or this match will be over very quickly.”

Ripley locks in a reverse cloverleaf, wrenching Skye’s legs with vicious intent. Skye screams in agony as Ripley bends her body at an unnatural angle, but somehow Skye claws her way to the ropes, forcing a break. Ripley lets go reluctantly, smirking as the crowd cheers for Skye’s resilience.

Excalibur: “You’ve got to admire Skye’s heart, but Ripley’s just too strong right now.”

As Ripley moves to continue her assault, Skye rallies with a desperation jawbreaker followed by a quick hurricanrana, which sends Ripley staggering! The crowd pops as Skye follows up with a springboard crossbody, taking Ripley down for the first time in the match. Skye covers—

Referee: “One! Two!”

Ripley powers out at two, looking more irritated than hurt.

Michael Cole: “Skye Blue showing she’s got some fight left, but Ripley’s just too powerful!”

Ripley angrily charges at Skye, but Skye ducks under and lands a series of fast forearm strikes, trying to wear Ripley down. Skye bounces off the ropes for a superkick, but Ripley catches her foot! Ripley spins her around and plants her with a massive Riptide! The match seems over as Ripley goes for the pin—

Referee: “One! Two!—”

Suddenly, Buddy Matthews storms down the ramp, jumping onto the apron and distracting the referee. The crowd roars in surprise as Ripley looks confused and furious at Matthews’ interference.

buddy matthews

Michael Cole: “What the hell is Buddy Matthews doing out here?

Excalibur: “Matthews is he here to send a message!”

Ripley, fuming, turns to confront Matthews. She shouts at him from inside the ring, demanding an explanation. Matthews smirks and drops down from the apron, walking backward as Ripley’s focus remains on him. Meanwhile, Skye Blue seizes the opportunity and rolls Ripley up from behind!

Referee: “One! Two! Three!”

The bell rings, and Skye Blue has stolen the victory! The crowd erupts in shock as Skye quickly rolls out of the ring, her arms raised in disbelief while Ripley looks livid.

Nigel McGuinness: “Skye Blue just pinned Rhea Ripley! Buddy Matthews just cost Ripley the match!”

Excalibur: “Unbelievable! Skye Blue just scored the biggest win of her career, but it’s all because of Buddy Matthews!”

Michael Cole: “This has got to be some kind of mind game from the House of Black. What’s their endgame here?”

Ripley slams the mat in frustration and turns her attention to Matthews, who is standing at the top of the ramp with a smug look on his face. But before Ripley can leave the ring to pursue him, Roman Reigns’ music hits. The crowd explodes as the Tribal Chief strides down to the ring with an air of intensity.

Excalibur: “And here comes the Tribal Chief! Roman Reigns isn’t going to stand by and let the House of Black play games!”

Reigns storms the ring, and just as he enters, Malakai Black and Brody King appear at the top of the ramp, flanking Buddy Matthews. The House of Black is ready for war, but Reigns charges out of the ring and heads right for them, fists flying. Reigns throws punches left and right, taking out Brody King with a Superman Punch and then spearing Buddy Matthews!

Michael Cole: “Reigns is taking out the House of Black! He’s had enough of their mind games!”

michael cole

Excalibur: “Roman Reigns just leveled Buddy Matthews! The Tribal Chief is sending a message tonight!”

As Reigns turns toward Malakai Black, Christian Cage’s music hits, and the AYW General Manager walks out onto the stage with a microphone, watching the carnage unfold with a smirk on his face.

Christian Cage: “Whoa, whoa, whoa. Roman, calm down! You know, I’m starting to think you and your little empire here are getting out of hand. You can’t just run roughshod over everyone who stands in your way.”

Reigns glares at Cage, still seething with rage.

Christian Cage: “You think you’re untouchable, huh? Well, I’m here to remind you who’s in charge. So at Rage in the Cage, Roman, you won’t be facing Malakai Black, and you won’t be facing Buddy Matthews. No, you’re going to face someone just as ruthless as you. It’s going to be Roman Reigns vs. Jon Moxley, inside a steel cage, for the AYW World Championship!”

The crowd erupts as the announcement sinks in.

Michael Cole: “What a bombshell from Christian Cage! Roman Reigns vs. Jon Moxley inside a steel cage for the AYW World Championship at Rage in the Cage!”

Excalibur: “This changes everything! Reigns will be trapped inside a steel cage with Jon Moxley—no way out, no interference!”

Reigns looks furious but determined as he stares down Cage, knowing that the biggest challenge of his reign is now set in stone.
