On a monthly basis we are going to use a carefully selected criteria to Power Rank the Top 15 most Elite of All Elite Wrestling. This will show us who AEW are pushing the most on our screens but will definitely leave out a few big names due to them either not wrestling much or wins aren’t so important to their current story.
Criteria
Are they a Champion? + 10 for a Singles Champion and +5 for a Tag or Trios Champion.
Win/Loss record: +1 for a win -1 for a loss.
PPVWins/PPVAppearances: +3 for a win and +1 for making it to a PPV.
Tournament Wins: +2 for winning any match considered a Tournament match.
Win %: If you have a 100% record, that’s 10 points. 83.8% record, that’s 8.3 points.
15. RICOCHET

Champion?: NO = 0
Wins: 11 = 11
Losses: 5 = -5
PPVWins: 1 = 3
PPVApps: 3 = 3
Tourn.Ws: 1 = 2
Win %: 68.7 = 6.8
TOTAL: 20.8
Ricochet has had a great 2025. An amazing match with Swerve at Revolution, the Triple Threat with Kenny and Mike Bailey was one of the best 3 way matches I’d seen in a long time. Most recently, facing Briscoe at Double or Nothing in a Stretcher match, another banger from Ricochet.
14. KYLE FLETCHER

Champion?: NO = 0
Wins: 9 = 9
Losses: 3 = -3
PPVWins: 2 = 6
PPVApps: 3 = 3
Tourn.Ws: 1 = 2
Win %: 75 = 7.5
TOTAL: 24.5
It’s been an amazing year for Kyle Fletcher, even since going out as a singles competitor he has been on another level. Starting his year with an epic cage match against Ospreay. An unexpected banger against Briscoe then a match at Double or Nothing that no one expected to be as good at it was.
13. ADAM COLE

Champion?: YES = 10
Wins: 7 = 7
Losses: 3 = -3
PPVWins: 1 = 3
PPVApps: 2 = 2
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 70 = 7
TOTAL: 26
This year it looked like Adam Cole was stuck in the Trios division. But eventually him and Dani Garcia started running into each other and Adam’s thirst for gold was too strong. This lead to him finally winning the title at Dynasty, earning a spot on this list.
12. JON MOXLEY

Champion?: YES – 10
Wins: 9 = 9
Losses: 6 = -6
PPVWins: 2 = 6
PPVApps: 3 = 3
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 60 = 6
TOTAL: 28
Seeing the World Champion this low on the list is shocking but Moxley allows himself to be on the losing side a lot. Only in Tag matches but still. Moxley is a dominant force in the ring, let down by his team mates. If he wants to climb this ranking he needs to wrestler more singles matches.
11. POWERHOUSE HOBBS

Champion?: YES = 5
Wins: 15 = 15
Losses: 3 = -3
PPVWins: 1 = 3
PPVApps: 1 = 1
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 83.3 = 8.3
TOTAL: 29.3
Hobbs is Trios Champion and just fought in Anarchy in the Arena, so I shouldn’t be shocked he’s this high. He is tied for the most wins in the company this year. While it feels like he’s only in multi man matches, he’s had 7 singles matches this year an only loss 1. Hobbs is eating well this year.
10. KONOSUKE TAKESHITA

Champion?: NO = 0
Wins: 15 = 15
Losses: 4 = -4
PPVWins: 2 = 6
PPVApps: 3 = 3
Tourn.Ws: 1 = 2
Win %: 78.9 = 7.8
TOTAL: 29.8
Konosuke has had a much better year than I can present here. The most matches this year on the roster and that doesn’t include all of the work he does in NJPW and other promotions. Whether its beating Ishii at Wrestle Dynasty or losing to Kenny at Revolution, Takeshita only knows how to put on amazing matches
9. SAMOA JOE

Champion?: YES = 5
Wins: 13 = 13
Losses: 1 = -1
PPVWins: 1 = 3
PPVApps: 1 = 1
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 92.8 = 9.2
TOTAL: 30.2
Joe returned this year at AEW Homecoming and since then he has been on a rampage. Steamrolling to an AEW trios Championship, but that wasn’t enough. Samoa Joe gets himself into a Steel Cage with the AEW World Champion, and then he partakes in Anarchy in the Arena. What a year for Joe.
8. ‘HANGMAN’ ADAM PAGE

Champion?: NO = 0
Wins: 10 = 10
Losses: 1 = -1
PPVWins: 2 = 6
PPVApps: 2 = 2
Tourn.Ws: 3 = 6
Win %: 90.9 = 9
TOTAL: 32
With a near perfect record, his only loss coming in a Casino Gauntlet. This is the year of the Cowboy, the year of redemption. Outstanding performances all year, against MJF, Josh Alexander, Kyle Fletcher and Ospreay. Hangman is destined for greatness, I hope.
7. WILL OSPREAY

Champion?: NO = 0
Wins: 13 = 13
Losses: 2 = -2
PPVWins: 2 = 6
PPVApps: 3 = 3
Tourn.Ws: 2 = 4
Win %: 86.6 = 8.6
TOTAL: 32.6
Will Ospreay has had an incredible year so far, making sure that every single match and every single promo he has is must see. He is also the highest member of this list without a championship, which is very impressive. With more than half a year left in 2025, I can’t wait to see what Ospreay does.
6. SHELTON BENJAMIN

Champion?: YES = 5
Wins: 9 = 9
Losses: 0 = 0
PPVWins: 3 = 9
PPVApps: 3 = 3
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 100 = 10
TOTAL: 36
One half of the current AEW Tag Team Champions and one of only 3 people undefeated in 2025 on this list. Shelton has only be in Tag matches this year but we know how dominant he can be as a singles. I look forward to a long run for the Hurt Syndicate as champs.
5. BOBBY LASHLEY

Champion?: YES = 5
Wins: 10 = 10
Losses: 0 = 0
PPVWins: 3 = 9
PPVApps: 3 = 3
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 100 = 10
TOTAL: 37
The more dominant half of the Hurt Syndicate, also had mostly tag matches this year with the exception of 1 singles match against Mark Briscoe. The rest of the roster is lucky he is in the Tag division for now because once he’s unleashed into singles competition, everyone is on notice.
4. KAZUCHIKA OKADA

Champion?: YES = 10
Wins: 9 = 9
Losses: 0 = 0
PPVWins: 2 = 6
PPVApps: 2 = 2
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 100 = 10
TOTAL: 37
Despite Okada not being featured a lot this year, when he does show up, he’s undefeated. With plenty of great matches against, Brody King, Anthony Bowen, Buddy Mathews, Mike Bailey, pretty much everyone he wrestles against. There’s no doubt Okada is dominant.
3. TONI STORM

Champion?: YES = 10
Wins: 12 = 12
Losses: 3 = -3
PPVWins: 3 = 9
PPVApps: 3 = 3
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 80 = 8
TOTAL: 39
Toni Storm is having an unbelievable, legacy building year. From Toni Storm, just happy to be here gimmick at the start of the year, to the women that beat Mariah at Grand Slam, then with one of the best matches I’ve ever seen against Mariah at Revolution. Timeless Toni Storms name will go down in wrestling history.
2 KENNY OMEGA

Champion?: YES = 10
Wins: 7 = 7
Losses: 1 = -1
PPVWins: 4 = 12
PPVApps: 4 = 4
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 87.7 = 8.7
TOTAL: 40.7
Love to see Kenny Omega having a good year, or just wrestling in general for us as much as he can. Facing Gabe Kidd in his return match was a choice but they torn each other apart, it was beautiful. Follow that with Takeshita at Revolution, Ricochet & Bailey at Dynasty and Anarchy in the Arena. Hell of a year for Omega.
1. MERCEDES MONE

Champion?: YES = 10
Wins: 10 = 10
Losses: 2 = -2
PPVWins: 4 = 12
PPVApps: 4 = 4
Tourn.Ws: 3 = 6
Win %: 83.3 = 8.3
TOTAL: 48.3
CEO of AEW is the outright leader of our rankings. The Belt Collector gimmick helps a lot with that. She wants to wrestle on every show and wants every title she can get her hands on. She also never loses, very important to climb the rankings. Mercedes has her eyes on another belt come All In, will this be her moment or the beginning of the end?
This concludes our list for June, we will track everyone’s results and bring together a new Elite 15 same time next month. Keep an eye out!
