World Grand Prix EP1

Welcome to the World Grand Prix, the world’s premier wrestling tournament.

10 of the world’s best wrestlers will compete in a brutal round robin tournament. The competitors will all face each other once. They will receive 2 points for each win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss. 

At the end of the tournament, the competitor with the most points will win the tournament and be crowned the world’s best wrestler

Let’s begin the first night of action 

Opening Contest

Rick Steiner vs Sting

Finish: Sting counters a powerslam, pushes Rick into the corner and hits a Stinger Splash for the win

Winner: Sting (2 Points)

Ric Flair Vs Scott Steiner

Finish: While the referee is distracted, Arn is able to slip into the ring and nail Steiner with a DDT, allowing Flair to get the three count for the win

Winner: Ric Flair (2 Points)

Arn Anderson Vs Hulk Hogan

Finish: Once again the ref is distracted. However, while this is happening, Hogan is running the ropes for a big boot when he’s cracked in the back with a chair by Flair. He walks forward in pain right into Arn’s Spinebuster. 

Winner: Arn Anderson (2 Points)

Randy Savage Vs Steve Williams

Finish: Williams is finally down after a back and forth battle. Savage climbs to the top looking for his iconic elbow drop. However, Williams avoids this by moving out of the way at the last second before nailing Savage with the Doctor Bomb

Winner: Steve Williams (2 Points)

Main Event

Ricky Steamboat Vs Lex Luger

Finish: The reigning WCW Champion dominates most of the match while Steamboat plays an underdog role. Towards the end, Luger attempts a Torture Rack before Steamboat manages to reverse the hold into a crucifix for the shocking upset
