Universe 3L1T3: Episode 2: Collision #1

Welcome to Universe 3L1T3’s first presentation of Collision.

In this universe, Collision and Dynamite don’t suffer the same disparity as your universe. Our leaders in Universe 3L1T3 make sure to put important stories on both shows to maximise screen time and our roster.

With that said, onto the show:

AEW Collision – September 2nd, Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, Cleveland, Ohio.

We start this show with a recap of Dynamite matches, the end of each match with commentary then finish with the MJF celebration, leading into CM Punk v Kenny Omega and the way that ended with all the interference.

We see Adam Cole exiting his car and begin walking into the arena when he is caught up to by Rodrick Strong.

Rodrick: “ADAM!! Hey buddy, glad I caught you.”

Adam starts walking away.

Rodrick: “Adam, wait! I’m sorry. I understand that Max is your friend too, and I’m not gonna be able to change that. I trust you now. The Kingdom have gone home, they can’t accept it, but I can. I even want to apoligize to Max.”

Adam: “Really?” Adam is shocked to her this from Rodrick.

Rodrick: “Oh, and I brought a gift with me.”

Rodrick takes a few steps back and gestures for someone to ‘come out’, and it’s Kyle O’Reilly.

Adam is shocked to see Kyle is back and recovered from injury. They hug instantly.

Kyle: “Hey man, how you doing? I’m sorry All In didn’t work out.”

Adam: “It’s okay man, you’re all healed up?”

Kyle: “Yeah and I’m ready to get this show on the road again, maybe we get some trios action going?

Adam: Yeah, ofcourse, but I’m also currently ROH Tag Champion with Max and we’ve got this issue with CM Punk and FTR right now.”

Kyle: “Whatever you’ve got to man, we have both your backs!”

Adam: “Thanks, look I have to go get ready for my match tonight and Max should be here so, so I’ll find you later for that apology Roddy and we can go from there.”

Adam fist bumps Kyle and walks away. Kyle and Strong nod to each other and whisper something together.

Pyro goes off and we get a sweeping shot of a packed Rocket Mortage Fieldhouse, 12,300 strong.

Tony Schiavone: “This is Collision, we are coming to you from Cleveland, Ohio. Rocket Mortage Fieldhouse. Live on Max. It’s Tony Schivone and Nigel McGuinness. We have a great show tonight, as you’ve already seen Adam Cole is here and he will compete in our Main event. FTR vs Better than you Bay Bay.”

Nigel Mcguinness: “Adam should be teaming with Rodrick Strong, his real best friend. Hopefully we can see their rekindling soon.”

Tony Schiavone: “I can’t wait. Elsewhere tonight we will hear from Hangman Adam Page after his win at All In. Britt Baker goes 1 on 1 with Serena Deeb, Hikaru Shida is in action against Ruby Soho after losing her title at All In. Jeff Hardy takes on Luchasaurus in a TNT Gaunlet qualifier. The Acclaimed also–“

Nigel Mcguinness: “Hold on Tony, I’m being told there’s a fight of some sort happening backstage and the cameras are just catching it now.”

We cut to a POV shot of a cameraman running and turning a corner into the parking lot where we run into The Blackpool combat club are attacking Top Flight, The Outrunners and 2.0. Hitting them with chairs and throwing them over road cases. Eventually, Moxley sees the cameraman.

Mox: “You recording? Good. TONIGHT we are looking for a fight, a real one, a proper challenge. You see these weak men here? This is what happens when you refuse to fight us. So we are going out to the ring right now and expect a fight.”

Nigel Mcguinness: “Alright then, this is how we start a show!”

BLACKPOOL COMBAT CLUB OPEN CHALLENGE

Jon Moxleys music plays. The whole BCC enter the floor, through the crowd, and make their way to the ring. Mox and Claudio step into the ring while Yuta and Danielson stay out. Both men gesture to the ramp for anyone to come down, Claudio holding the ring ropes open.

The Workhorsemen music plays, and they sheepishly walk out, we can see Christopher Daniels yelling at them and pointing at the ring. They shake their heads and walk down to the ring.

MOXLEY/CLAUDIO vs WORKHORSMEN

JD Drake starts the match for The Workhorsemen and Moxley for the BCC. As soon as JD Drake steps out of the corner Moxley hits him with a big lariat, picks him up, and then hits a Death Rider. Instead of pinning him, he picks him up and places him in his corner, allowing Anthony Henry to tag in and he does.

Moxley walks to his corner, tags in Claudio, and then rolls out to the floor. Claudio charges at Henry, looking for a lariat but Henry ducks and then gets a quick roll up on Claudio who kicks out aggressively at one. Anthony smiles to himself as Claudio gets himself composed. This time, Henry charges at Claudio, who turns and hits a pop-up uppercut, then hits a neutraliser, followed by a 2nd neutraliser and the pinfall victory.

MOXLEY & CLAUDIO win via Pinfall. 4 minutes.

The rest of the BCC enters the ring, and Danielson has a mic.

Danielson: “Is this really the best AEW has to offer? Is there no one else who wants a fight?”

The lights go out in the building, and then 5 seconds later, they turn back on. House of Black are standing behind the BCC. The BCC slowly turns around and meet eye to eye with the House of Black. Malakai walks up to Danielson and leans into his mic to say:

Malakai: “We Accept.”

As the words leave his mouth, Brody King and Buddy Mathews charge at the BCC and the brawl begins. Malakai and Danielson exchange hands. Buddy and Claudio are fighting in the corner while Brody is brawling with Moxley and Yuta outside the ring.

Malakai is in the ring and hits a vicious knee to Danielson, now he’s looking for a Black Mass but Danielson is pulled out of the ring by Claudio. Brody and Buddy slide back into the ring as the four members of the BCC regroup on ramp side of the ring. After a few words the whole BCC get back on the apron, the House of Black are begging them to come into the ring and fight, and that’s exactly what happens. All members of each faction are now in the ring fighting as security and not so busy members of the lockeroom rush out to the ring to separate the two groups.

Nigel Mcguinness: “Disgusting action by Malakai and his buddies. Surprise attacking the BCC like that.”

Tony Schiavone: “They asked for a fight, and they got it. They also had the numbers advantage!”

Nigel Mcguinness: “Hardly an advantage to whoever has Bryan Danielson on their team.”

BRITT BAKER vs SERENA DEEB

Britt Bakers music plays, and the crowd is electric, cheering ‘DMD!’

Serena Deebs music plays, and she walks out weilding her trademark flag.

This match starts out with the crowd still chanting ‘DMD’! Both women lock up in the middle of the ring, with Serena getting the better of Baker with her technical superiority. Baker, early on, catches Deeb and almost locks her into Britts Lockjaw submission.

Thought out this match, Serena uses her technical submissions to control Bakers body, especially her arms. Britt Baker spends a lot of this match on the mat, looking for the bottom rope to survive Serena’s constant submissions. Baker does not give up though. Once again, Britt finds herself holding onto the bottom rope looking to survive another submission. Deeb turns her back to Britt, pandering to the crowd. Baker gets herself to a standing position, in the corner. Deeb chargers at Britt only for Britt to get out of the way and then begin to lay elbow strikes into Deeb, finishing Deeb off with a thrust kick and a ripcord elbow strike knocking Serena to the floor.

With Deeb down, Britt pulls out her trademark glove and looks to get Serena into the lockjaw. Deeb realises what’s happening and fights herself out of it and into a roll-up that Britt kicks out of. Serena doesn’t stop there as she goes for another roll-up, pinfall combination, but Baker kicks out again, with authority, pushing Deeb into the corner. Baker charges at Deeb but is met with a boot to the face, Serena climbs up to the top rope, and when she reaches the very top, Britt launches herself into the corner and hits Deeb with a massive elbow strike. Baker uses this chance to climb up to the top rope and drape Serena’s body over her back and, from the top rope, and hits a massive air aid crash. Britt springs into the cover. 1…2…DEEB KICKS OUT.

Britt does not let the kick out phase her as she picks up Deebs arm, puts it between herself and rolls Deeb around for the lock jaw. Serena tries desperately to break out of the hold, managing to get a roll-up pinfall attempt but Britt counters that quickly back into Lockjaw position. Within seconds of putting the lockjaw on, Serena taps out.

BRITT BAKER wins via Submission, 12 minutes.

Britt stands up, charges straight for the ring annoucer, and gets herself a microphone

Britt Baker: “Saraya! How dare you say no other women here in AEW are on your level! Ive been here for FOUR YEARS! I built this division from the ground up with some of the best female wrestlers in the world! Dont forget, you didn’t pin me, and I’m coming for you!”

Britt tosses the mic and embraces the crowd.

ACCLAIMED CHALLENGE FTR FOR ALL OUT

Max Caster: “Yo, Listen, FTR I think that stands for F— those rednecks,
your legacy is not about this sport it’s for your pay checks.
I lay to rest the two that kiss the ass of ‘the best’.” Max is doing air quotes for ‘the best’.

Max Caster: “I’ll beat you so bad Tony Khan will pay you less.
I’ll turn you into a laughing stock you’ll have to change address,
Make you looks so unattractive you’re gonna need to beg for sex.
Want to say if I make rap songs that I’m not serious,
I want to say that you both need tampons because you got periods.
I just want to congratulate you for reaching womanhood,
hairy chick’s ain’t my thing but you’re looking good.”

“Me, Anthony and Billy on a crazy run,
now forever Trios Champs but we still ain’t done.
We challenge you both for All Out in the United Centre,
Time to find out, Acclaimed or FTR, who is better.”

Anthony Bowens: “Don’t forget, EVERYONE LOVES THE ACCLAIMED!”

LUCHASAURUS vs JEFF HARDY – TNT Title Gaunlet Qualifier.

Luchasaurus music plays and out walks Christian holding his TNT with Luchasaurus right behind him.

Jeff Hardys music plays and he comes running out of the tunnel, his brother Matt with him.

Jeff starts the match in his corner while Luchasaurus stands in the middle of the ring. The bell rings, and Hardy runs straight at Luchasaurus and hits a dropkick, but Luchasaurus doesn’t budge. Luchasaurus charges at Hardy, picks him up then throws him into a corner and starts slapping his chest to massive echo’s around the arena. Luchasaurus continues to dominate throughout the match, hitting big power moves, destroying Hardys spine.

Jeff is in the corner, looking on as Luchasaurus is coming in for a big splash, but Hardy dropkicks his knee, resulting in the big man falling face first into the middle turn buckle. Hardy sees his chance and takes it. He grabs the top ropes above Luchasaurus and pulls himself up only to come back down to hit Luchasaurus with a dropkick. He picks Luchasaurus up and goes for a twist of fate but is pushed away by the dinosaur. Jeff turns and sees Luchasaurus charging at him but ducks then hits Luchasaurus with a split leg jawbreaker. Luchasaurus is stumbling in the ring after the jawbreaker, giving Hardy to chance to hit a Whisper in the Wind on the big man.

The crowd is now behind Jeff as he makes his way to the top rope and hits the swanton bomb on Luchasaurus.

Tony Schiavone: This could be it for Luchasaurus!

The crowd join in for the ref’s count, 1…2…KICK OUT by Luchasaurus. Exhausted, Jeff checks with the ref on the 2 count, then springs back into action. Jeff pulls Luchasaurus off the ground and hits him with a Twist of fate. Christian is yelling at Luchasaurus as Jeff rips his shirt off and goes back to the top rope for another swanton bomb. Jeff leaps off the top rope but is met with knees as Luchasaurus was ready for the swanton. Luchasaurus picks Jeff up by the throat and lifts him up for a massive chokeslam and then a pinfall attempt. 1…2… JEFF KICKS OUT. Luchasaurus isn’t concerned by this as he lifts Hardy up again and hits a massive lariat to the back of Hardys head. Another pinfall attempt. 1…2…3!

LUCHASAURUS WINS via pinfall. 9minutes.

Nigel Mcguinness: :Luchasaurus calls that move the Northern Lariat! Beautiful move.

Tony Schiavone: Vicious move. Oh and now what is this?!

In the ring, Christian starts stomping Jeff while he’s down, Matt tries to come to the rescue but eats a big boot from Luchasaurus. Christian yells at Luchasaurus to get 2 chairs. After doing so, Christian and Luchasaurus hit both Hardy brothers with chairs in the back then Darby Allin’s music hits.

Darby and Sting come running out the ring, Darby enters the ring first and slides under Luchasaurus, and goes straight for Christian. Christian escapes the ring as Luchasaurs pulls Darby off him. Instinctly, Darby ducks a chair shot from Luchasaurus and kicks out his legs, bringing him down to his knees for Darby to hit a Code Red. Christian slides into the ring with a chair to hit Darby but is met face to face with Sting, who holds his bat up to Christians neck. Christian slowly back outs of the ring, Darby now has a mic in hand.

Darby: “Where you going Christian? We have plenty left to say.” Darby hands the mic to Sting.

Sting: “I know I’m getting older, but if I remember correctly, Darby and I beat you last week in Wembley,” the crowd cheers.

Sting: ” I think they remember. So now I think it’s time we come for that.” Sting points his bat down the ramp to where Christian & Luchasaurus stand.

Sting: “It doesn’t really matter what you say, because I’ve spoken to Tony and at ALL OUT, in 4 weeks, it’ll be Christian vs STING for the TNT Championship”

Tony: “Holy smokes! Sting vs Christian for the TNT Championship. I can’t wait!”

Nigel: “There will be over 100 years of age in that ring that night, god I love the wrestling business today!”

HANGMAN INTERVIEW WITH TONY SCHIAVONE

Tony Schiavone: “Okay, everyone, let’s welcome my guess at this time Hangman, Adam Page!”

Hangman’s music plays to a massive crowd pop. Overwhelmingly positive reaction for Hangman as he makes his was into the ring.

Tony: “Congratulations Hangman, on the victory in Wembley. I believe you have asked for this time to tell everyone your plans for the rest of 2023.” Tony hands the mic to Hangman.

Hangman: “Thanks Tony, yeah so there’s a few months left in the years and right now I’m not–“

SWERVES MUSIC PLAYS and the crowd respond very positively with a ‘SWERVES HOUSE’ chant. Swerve makes his way down to the ring with Prince Nana at his side, coffee in hand.

Swerve: “Sorry to interrupt, but my question to you would not be what’s next for Hangman, but where’s the real Hangman been? Kenny is out there challenging Punk, and you’re doing what? You’re doing tag matches, trios matches, just multi-man matches with your friends.”

“You know it’s been 5 months since you have had a singles match? It was Revolution this year, Texas Death, beautiful match. That was the Hangman I miss. Since then, you’ve lost you’ve been soft. You’ve lost your spot, you’ve lost you confidence. I see you have no shame for yourself, so I’ll be ashamed for you.”

“When AEW started, you were built up to be the cornerstone. You became Tag Champ, World Champ, and then just last week AEW was in front of 80,000 in Wembley. Now, you’re just sitting back-seat to The Elite, enjoying your new contract. You’ve gotten comfortable because opportunities just fall into your lap. You give me those same opportunities, I’d be the first black AEW World Champion.”

“So I’ll give you your options: 1. You ride off into the sunset like those cowboy movies you use to watch as a kid. Enjoy your contract, let your career CONTINUE to fizzle out. Make way for me to take that spot that you don’t even want. I’ll turn AEW into who’s house?” The crowd sing out, ‘SWERVES HOUSE!’

Swerve: “Or options 2: You can man up, step up, show me and show these people what cowboy shit is. Show everyone you still want to be here OR we can do this, fight me. Fight me for that spot. Fair warning though, I have no regard for human life. You chose to do this and I will walk you like a dog. Either way, I’m coming for that spot, that you act like you don’t even want.”

Hangman chuckles and leans into the mic Swerve is holding.

Hangman: “I’ve had enough to this shit this year. You want a match, go to the back and get it. I’m done listening to you.”

Hangman pushes past Swerve and leaves the ring. Swerve and Prince Nana laugh between themselves.

Swerve: “There he goes, it’s a true shame Hangman. It’s a shame your wife and kids have to watch their daddy walk away from more responsibilities.”

Hangman stops on the ramp. Looks down, then marches back to the ring. Hangman walks right up to Swerve, who is still laughing, and he gets right in his face.

Hangman: “I don’t know who told you it was a good idea to mention my wife and kids, but -”

Hangman is cut off as Brian Cage hits him from behind. Swerve continues to smile and laugh as Brian Cage picks up Hangman for a drill claw and then the three men in the ring stand over Hangman and head out of the ring.

HIKARU SHIDA vs RUBY SOHO

Ruby Sohos music plays and she makes her way down to the ring alone. No other Outcasts in sight.

Hikaru Shida’s music plays and she makes her way down to the ring, quicker than usual,  with no acknowledgement towards the crowd just laser eyes at Ruby Soho.

As soon as Shida enters the ring she charges at Ruby, so the bell rings. With Shida throwing punches at Soho while Ruby tries to find a way out of the ring. Fortunately for Ruby, the referee is obligated to stop Shida from her attack, and Ruby gets out of the ring. Shida stops and takes a breath while Ruby is outside of the ring, complaining to the referee. Hikaru quickly slides out of the ring, behind the referees back, and charges at Ruby again. Ruby runs back into the ring, and when Shida slides back in, Ruby jumps on her quickly, hitting her with knees and elbows to her back.

Ruby uses this to gain momentum and control the match. Soho picks up Shida and throws her straight into the ring post. Shida holds her shoulder, Ruby notices this and starts targeting it, stomping down on her shoulder as Shida lays on the bottom turn buckle. Ruby screams at Shida.

Ruby: “You are not the champion anymore! You’ll never be AEW Champion again!”

Ruby turns to the crowd to boast, then runs at Hikaru. Hikaru springs up and screams, hitting Soho with a massive lariat, Ruby gets back up and eats another lariat. Once again, Ruby springs back up and goes for a big head kick to Shida but she ducks it and gets Ruby up for a Falcon Arrow and pinfall. 1…2…RUBY KICKS OUT.

Shida wastes no time, she quickly picks up Soho who grabs Shida by the hair, hits her with a headbutt, and then a future shock kick. Still dazed from the headbutt, Ruby makes her way up to the top rope and hits a diving senton, and goes for the pin. 1…2…SHIDA KICKS OUT. Both women exhausted, lay down on the mat next to each other after this heavy hitting, fast pace, start to the match.

Each women pull themselves back to their feet, using their opponents body for leverage. Elbow from Ruby, elbow strike from Shida, back and forth both women throw stiff elbows at one another. Ruby initially gets the upper hand, hitting 3 consecutive strikes on Shida. Hikaru fights back, but Soho ducks an elbow and hits Shida with a knee strike to the head, resulting in Shida collapsing into the turnbuckle. Ruby meets Hikaru in the corner and lifts her up to the top rope, looking for a superplex, Shida locks in her legs though. Shida hits Ruby in the stomach a few times, then Hikaru lifts up Ruby for a Avalanche Falcon Arrow! Not done yet, Shida pulls Ruby up to her knee and then hits a Katana for the pinfall. 1…2…3.

HIKARU SHIDA WINS via Pinfall, 10 minutes.

Hikaru Shida immediately walks out of the ring, collects her Kendo stick, and grabs a microphone. She starts to speak as she enters the ring.

Hikaru: “Saraya! You have 30 seconds to come out to this ring before I destroy Ruby with my Kendo stick!”

Hikaru waits and waits, and then Toni Storm comes running out. Shida yells out, ‘You’re not Saraya’ and starts raining down Kendo shots on Ruby. Toni slides into the ring, and Shida swings at her, Toni backs up into the corner and raises her hands, yelling out to Ruby. Sarayas music hits, and Shida turns to the ramp but keeps Toni in kendos length. Saraya slides in behind Shida and blasts her with title belt, Shida falls to the ground with her kendo underneath her.

Saraya continues the attack, while Toni checks on Ruby. Britt Baker music hits, and the crowd erupts as Britt runs down the ring. Saraya gets off of Shida and orders Toni to face Britt. Britt spears Toni, and they brawl in the ring. Saraya runs over to pull Britt off Toni, but Britt starts brawling with Saraya, both women throwing elbows until Ruby comes up behind Baker with the Kendo stick. All 3 outcast members are now attacking Shida and Baker.

Tony: “This is hardly fair, both women had a match tonight!”

Nigel: “Ruby had a match tonight too and her friends are just defending her! This is justice, Tony!”

KRIS STATLANDERS music play

Tony: “No, this is justice!”

Statlander sprints down into the ring and all three outcasts are ready for her, Ruby still has the kendo in hand and is ready to swing but Saraya stops her. Saraya steps up to Statlander and raises her belt, gesturing to Kris to do the same, hoping they bond over both being champions. Saraya clinks her title against Kris’s like they were toasting together. All the outcast gesture to the crowd to cheer for this interaction. Kris unhooks her belt while Saraya’s back is turned and when she turns back to Kris, Kris hits her with a massive forearm. Ruby reacts first and swings the kendo, but Statlander catches it, she turns to Toni, who is charging at Kris now, and hits her with a big boot to the face. Ruby let’s go of the kendo and runs out of the ring. Kris turns her attention to Saraya as she’s the only Outcast left in the ring. She picks her up and sets her up for a Big Bang Theory but Saraya struggles and slips out of it and the Outcasts help her out of the ring.

Kris looks down at the AEW Women’s Championship, still in the ring, and picks it up like it’s a piece of dirty garbage. She takes it to the ramp where the outcast are standing together and tosses it out to them, raising her own TBS Championship high.

MJF AND ADAM COLE BEFORE THEIR MATCH

MJF is sitting in his locker room, finishing up taping his wrist. Max looks very serious, Adam Cole walks in.

Adam Cole: “Here you go bud,” Adam hands Max a bottle of water and puts another down for himself. Max thanks him, still with a very serious look on his face. Adam looks Max up and down, nervously, but decides to speak anyway.

Adam Cole: “Hey, I gotta tell you something that happened early. I had just pulled up to the venue, and Rodrick came up to me, he wanted to apologise.”

Max: “Apoligise? That cuck?”

Adam Cole: “No, seriously, he said he accepts our friendship, left the Kingdom and is truly sorry. Then he Kyle showed up.”

Max: “Who is Kyle?”

Adam Cole: “Kyle O’Reilly, my friend Max. Also, Rodrick wants to apologise to you too. These guys are my friends, and I think you should hear him out, then we can put this all behind us. ” Max chuckles.

Max: “I already put this behind bro, I’m focused solely on keeping my triple B and hanging with my best bud. Not your old circle jerk friends.” Adam is visibly frustrated.

Adam Cole: “Max! I know this is all new to you, but saying shitty things about your best friends friends isn’t cool and these guys have been my friends for a long time. Plus with Punk and FTR after you, we could use the numbers.” Max isn’t chuckling now, his face is very serious again.

Max: “Adam, I love you and you’re right. I’m new to this friendship stuff. But I know people and Rodrick tried to break us up like a jealous ex. Does he want to see you happy or would he sacrifice your happiness just to have you to himself? I don’t care if you and him are friends, I know you can have more than one friend, but that’s why I’m not interested in talking to him. Now, can we go shove our feet up some redneck asses?” Max offers a fist bump to Adam.

Adam Cole: “Alright bud, let’s do it!” Adam responds with his own fist. They get up together, and their theme begins.

BETTER THAN YOU BAYBAY vs FTR

Better than you BayBay music plays first, and they come out together with big smiles on their faces. They do their trademark entrance and go to their corner.

FTRs music plays and both men walk out, titles around their waste, very serious and ready to fight.

CM PUNKs music plays, and the crowd erupts at the unexpected appearance. Punk walks down the ramp and pulls up a chair next to the announce table, and lays his title in his lap to watch the match.

The match kicks off with Dax and MJF, they lock up, and MJF gets Dax into a side headlock takeover. Dax counters then takes MJF down to the mat for a quick pin, Max instantly kicks out and then repeats the sequence on Dax, who also reverses it and both men stand up facing each other. Max goes forehead to forehead with Dax and that’s when Dax slaps Max, across the face, hard. MJF hits him back with another slap and they get into a slap off. Adam Cole jumps into the ring but so does Cash who charges at Adam and takes him down to the ground. They start brawling while Dax and MJF have now found their wait out of the ring and are fighting all around the ring around. Max gets the upper hand and ends up clotheslining Dax over the railing and spits down onto him.

Max turns and sees the brawl happening in the ring. He slides in and Adam goes for a superkick on Cash who ducks and MJF catches the kick. Adam looks at Max and says, “Sorry,” Max mouths ‘all good’ then Cash charges at them but Max and Cole look at each other and then Max throws Adams foot into Cash’s face. They looks at Cash, down on the mat now, and call out, “Double clothesline!”. Both men lock arms and run at the ropes for momentum, but when they turn around, Dax pulls Cash out of the ring. Outside the ring CM Punk stands up and applauds. He pats Cash and Dax on the shoulders, says something to them, and they get back into the ring. Dax tags in Cash and MJF tags in Cole.

Cash and Cole meet up in the middle of the ring, circling one another until Cash has his back turnt to MJF and turns to around to knock him off the apron, Max falls to the floor and Cole is pissed. Adam runs at Cash in the corner but Cash ducks and starts laying in punches into Cole, then Irish whips him into their tag corner. He tags in Dax and Irish whips Cole again, this time across the ropes for a drop toe hold, elbow drop combination.

FTR spend the next roughly 10 minutes in control of the match, focusing just on breaking down Adam Coles legs and cutting the ring in half, making sure MJF can’t get into the ring. This includes a sequence where MJF decides he’s had enough and just runs into the ring to break up a sharp shooter. The referee then takes Max back to his corner, and they argue while in the ring, Adam Cole actually gets a superkick off on Dax, hurting his ankle in the process, then he runs to get some momentum off the ropes but CM Punk trips him up. MJF sees this and marches over to Punk. Meanwhile, Adam Cole turns around and eats a clothesline from Dax, then another, and on the third attempt, he ducks the clothesline and hits a big suplex to Dax. Now crawling to his corner, Adam realises that Max isn’t even there and yells out to him. Max turns his head and sees Cole looking for the tag. He stops arguing with Punk and rushes to his corner to make the tag, but FTR drag Cole back into the centre and stare down MJF, both giving him the middle finger.

Adam Cole has now crawled his way to the FTR corner and pulled himself up, waiting for them. Dax irish whips Cash into Cole, but he is ready and hits him with a superkick, then hits Dax with a bicycle kick, Cole falls to his knee but reaches out to MJF for the tag, only inches away when Cash grabs his arm. Quickly, Cole turns and hits Cash with a spin kick to the side of the head. Dax tries to catch up to Adam, but he leaps towards his corner and makes the tag to MJF.

MJF jumps into the ring and throws a punch at Dax, a punch at Cash, another for Dax, another for Cash. Scoop slam for Dax, Scoop slam for Cash, then grabs the ropes and hypes up the crowd. MJF sees both men down and prepares for a Kangaroo Kick, now in motion, FTR slowly make there way to there feet and see Max in position so they run opposite directions, against the ropes for momentum, then hit a chop block, lariat combination. With both members of FTR in the ring, they load themselves up for a Shatter machine as Max gets back to his feet. Cash lifts him up but Max grabs Cash around the head and Dax jumps up for his part in the move but to no end and falls flat while Max hits a DDT on Cash. Cash rolls out of the ring, and MJF gets himself back into Kangaroo Kick mentality, this time successfully on Dax. He goes for a pin, 1… 2…KICK OUT from Dax.

Max tags in Cole, and they call out, ‘Double Clothesline’. Linking arms, they get ready to hit Dax but Cash pulls Cole out of the ring and throws him into the barricade. Cash hops into the ring but trips and gets the to referee check on him, keeping the referees attention. Max laughs at Cash then turns to Dax who hits a drop toe hold into the ropes and then CM Punk hits Max across the face with the title belt and just stares down at him. Dax quickly rushes over and Cash jumps up, Dax lifts up Max and Cash from behind completes the Shatter Machine. Cash keeps a look out for Adam and Dax goes for the pin. 1…2…2.99…KICK OUT from MJF. The crowd erupts for this near fall, FTR and Punk are in shock over it.

Dax pulls Max to the corner and tags in Cash, Cash lifts Max up to the top rope for a superplex, waiting for Dax to climb the other turnbuckle for a big splash. As soon as Dax reaches the top rope, Adam Cole is there to push him off. Max fights out of the superplex, Cash falls to the floor and eats a superkick for Cole. MJF is now positioned on the top rope above Cash and hits a Panama Sunrise on Cash and Adam Cole follows that up with a BOOM! Max jumps over for the cover, 1…2…KICK OUT by Cash.
Adam Cole goes straight to Max tell its time for a Double Clothesline. Both men exhausted link hands again, Cash slowly getting his legs under him, turns around and is hit with the Double Clothesline. Max covers again! 1…2…DAX BREAKS THE PIN.

Max and Adam retreat to their corner while FTR retreat to there’s. Tagging their partner in, but all four men remain in the ring.

Tony Schiavone: “What do these men have to do to beat one another?!:

Nigel Mcguinness: “A three count should do it. But it’s look more and more unlikely that’ll happen”

After a moment of rest, both teams stand back up and meet in the middle and start throwing hands. Cole and Cash go to one corner, Max and Dax, in the other. Dax and Cash look back at each other and decide to irish whip Cole and Max into one another.

They attempt this, but Adam and Max link arms, spin themselves around, and run back into their corners, straight at FTR, who both swing and miss punches and eat superkicks. Now, both in perfect Panama Sunrise position, MJF and Cole both call out, ‘Panama Sunrise’.

But Cash and Dax both lunge at the corner post, stumbling up Max and Cole. Both men stand up on top post for 10 punches with the crowd chanting the numbers. Then Cash calls for a suplex, and Dax leaves MJF prone on the top rope after hitting an additional headbutt to him to climb the adjacent turnbuckle and hit the big splash.

Cash successfully hits the superplex, and Dax successfully hits the big splash on Cole. Dax goes to pin Cole, 1…2…MJF lands a diving elbow to Dax’s lower back, breaking up the pinfall and missing Adam Cole in the process.

Max picks up Cash and throws him out of the ring and follows. They brawl around the ring, with Max slamming Cash’s head on the announce table. MJF looks to throw Cash back into the ring but makes a sudden 180 turn and throws him into CM Punk, knocking Punk off his chair as Cash lands on top of him.

Proud of his work, Max gets back into the ring, and Dax is now just made it to his feet, Max grabs him and throws his body between the ropes for a Heat Seeker! MJF picks up Cole and tells him, ‘We gotta do it again, double clothesline, buddy.’ Max tags himself in.

Adam gets his bearings, and they link arms, charge at Dax, but Cash pulls Dax out of the ring, and they double clothesline hits the referee.

In shock at what they did, Adam Cole is pulled out of the ring by FTR while Max is spun around in the ring and hit with a Side head kick from CM Punk. Punk gets down to Max’s level and says to him, ‘You will never eclipse me.’

Punk picks up MJF and gets him on his shoulders as the crowd start to cheer, not for the GTS but for Rodrick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly who race down to the ring. Rodrick slides into the ring, facing Punk as Kyle gets behind him.

They’ve set themselves up for the High Low and hit it on Punk. Kyle goes to help Adam Cole fight off FTR while Strong helps up MJF. Max accepts the initial up but then pushes Strong aside and moves straight to Punk.

Rodricks tells Max, ‘That’s cool, man. It takes time. I get it’ and cheers on as he drapes Punk over the middle rope for a HeatSeeker. Suddenly, a big man in a black hoodie slides into the ring and destroys Rodrick with a massive spine buster.

Confused at what he hears behind him, MJF turns and sees the hooded figure. He charges at him and is also hit with a massive spine buster. The hooded figure reveals himself to be Powerhouse Hobbs.

Hobbs moves out of the ring , grabs Kyle O’Reilly, and throws him over the announce table. Adam Cole superkicks Hobbs, but it has little effect as Hobbs eats the kick and turns back to Cole, lifting him up and spine bustering him through the announce table.

Hobbs tells FTR to finish him. FTR slide back into the ring and lift up MJF for a Shatter machine. The referee, having just come to, crawls over for a pinfall. 1….2…..3.

Nigel Mcguinness: “What a match! Great action and FTR are deserved winners.”

Tony Schiavone: “I’m not sure if deserved is the word I would use. Oh God, what is this?”

Back in the ring, FTRs celebrations are cut short when Hobbs and Punk get back into and starts directing traffic. Asking FTR to bring everyone into the ring. Cm Punk gets everyone in their own corner with Punk in the middle with MJF at his feet and Hobbs to his right.

He picks up Max and hits a GTS, Hobbs catches him and throws him into a corner so Dax can hold him up, wanting him to watch what is next. Rodrick Strong is next as he is thrown into the middle of the ring and he is hit with a GTS and he to falls straight into Hobbs, who hits a Spinebuster this time.

Punk is laughing at his actions, Cole and Kyle are screaming out for their friend. Cole is next as Cash throws him into the middle of the ring, and he is hit with a side head kick and then lifted for up for a GTS.

Acclaimed music hits and Punks attention is diverted, everyone turns to prepare for the Acclaimed. They come running out, all with chairs, so Punk and his crew leave the ring and jump the barricade, making their exit through the crowd.

The Acclaimed help everyone in the ring up, Adam and Kyle go straight to Rodrick, who got the worst of it. The show goes off the air, with medics coming into the ring to check on Rodrick.
