ROH Supercard Of Honor Results July 11, 2025
Zero Hour
Blake Christian defeated Jay Lethal. Christian jammed his knee on a flip. Lethal gained control, but Lee Johnson caused a distraction in the corner. Christian capitalized for a superplex and rolled through for the Muta Lock submission. Lethal tapped out.
Dark Order defeated Frat House. The sides were Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, and John Silver versus Preston Vance, Griff Garrison, and Cole Karter with Jacked Jameson on the outside. John Silver ran wild on the hot tag. Dark Order hit the teamwork windmill slam, but Jameson pulled the referee out on the pin. Jameson was ejected. Vance used that distraction to hit Uno with the wooden paddle. That’s when -1 made a surprise appearance. Dark Order regrouped with support from Brodie Jr. to run a suplex train on Vance. Uno cleaned Vance’s clock with a discus lariat to win.
MxM TV. Taya Valkyrie and Johnny TV insulted the smelly crowd to introduce the return of MxM Collection from Japan. Mansoor and Mason Madden catwalked the King’s Road, and they are now the most legendary of legends. MxM introduced a new perfume called Seed.
Diamante defeated Lady Frost. Diamante unleashed aggression. She snatched Frost out of the corner for a twisting neckbreaker to win.
Von Erichs defeated Premier Athletes. Mark Sterling distracted the referee, so Ari Daivari could land a flying carpet ride (splash with a carpet). The Von Erichs rallied for a pop-up spinebuster on Tony Nese. Ross Von Erich grabbed the Claw on Sterling’s head, and Marshall Von Erich connected on a moonsault to pin Nese.
ROH Supercard of Honor
Hechicero defeated Michael Oku. The alchemist of the ring worked his llave style to pick apart the high-flyer. Oku rallied with slick dives, such as a jackknife splash. Hechicero countered a springboard moonsault to catch Oku’s arm to crank a shoulder lock. Oku stacked tall to escape and counter for a half-crab submission. The luchador reached the ropes for the break. Rocky Romero tried to call a timeout, but Amira Blair was having none of that. All that commotion on the outside allowed Hechicero to slingshot into the ring for a crazy ankle lock. Despite the escape, Hechicero maintained momentum to finish strong with a legscissors DDT. Awesome opener that is worth seeking out if you like this style of wrestling.
$50K 4-way: AR Fox defeated Atlantis Jr., Lee Johnson, and Adam Priest. Cash prize to the winner. The crowd was hot for Fox, and their support paid off in victory. Fox hit a slingshot flipping piledriver on Priest to win. This match was a non-stop highlight reel.
ROH Pure Championship: Lee Moriarty (c) defeated Blue Panther to retain the title. Pure rules in effect. Panther surprised Moriarty early with an armbar. The champ used his first rope-break. Moriarty evened the score with a submission to make Panther grab the ropes five minutes into the contest. Moriarty manipulated a headlock to block the referee from seeing a closed-fist punch, which is illegal in Pure rules. Panther rallied for a flying crossbody and transitioned to a figure-four. Moriarty used his second rope-break. A few minutes later, Moriarty trapped Panther in a wristlock for his second rope-break at 8:20 into the match. Moriarty picked up steam for a pair of suicide dives. Inside the ring, Moriarty applied an octopus stretch to transition to the Border City Stretch. Panther used his third and final rope-break at 10:25. Moriarty gained confidence to get cocky with striking. Panther fired up for clotheslines and a cannonball outside. Panther went up top, but Moriarty was quicker for a superplex. Panther kicked out on the cover, then Moriarty snatched an ankle lock. Panther dramatically crawled under the ropes. With no more breaks, Moriarty transitioned to the Border City Stretch through the ropes. The legendary luchador tapped out. Great chess match of technical wrestling.
ROH World Tag Team Championship: Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara (c) defeated Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo to retain the titles. The Infantry made the fight ugly on the outside to take control. They isolated Sammy to set up the hot tag for Dustin, who hit a Cross Rhodes on Dean. Trish Adora distracted the referee, and Shane Taylor hit Dustin with the title belt. Dustin was bloody. Dean made a slow cover, and Sammy barely made the save. Dustin rallied for a Destroyer on Dean. Sammy went wild for a springboard moonsault on to Taylor outside and a springboard cutter to Bravo inside. A superkick to Dean sent him into the final Reckoning from Dustin. Sammy closed with a swanton to win. That match was classic tag team style to build emotion. Afterward, STP stomped the champs. Anthony Ogogo made his return, but the Von Erichs made the save with chairs. Dustin had enough of STP and challenged them to an 8-man tag at the All In pre-show. Tony Khan made that match official.
ROH World Television Championship: Nick Wayne (c) defeated Titan to retain the title. Wayne controlled the pace for a slower style to break down his opponent. That worked for the explosive sequences to pop in contrast. Titan connected on a flying double stomp. On the pin, Mama Wayne placed her son’s foot on the ropes for the break. Referee Rick Knox caught her in the act for an ejection. Nick cried out for his mother as the crowd chanted the ‘na na na, goodbye’ song. Titan surged for a bridging straitjacket Muta Lock. Wayne reached the ropes for a dramatic break. On the finish, Wayne faked an injury. That allowed Kip Sabian to run in and shove Titan off the turnbuckles. Wayne connected on a springboard cutter out of the corner. After a couple of near falls, Wayne closed with the Prodigy Plex. Christian Cage came to the ring to hug his son.
Interim ROH Women’s World Television Championship: Mina Shirakawa defeated Miyu Yamashita, Yuka Sakazaki, and Persephone to win the title. All action all the time. Mina locked in a bridging figure-four to submit Miyu. Red Velvet is the injured champ, and she had a staredown with Mina. (Full details here.)
ROH Women’s World Championship: Athena (c) defeated Thunder Rosa to retain the title. Aggressive fight. Athena targeted the lower back, while Thunder did serious damage to pop Athena’s shoulder. Athena had enough and retreated up stage. Billie Starkz tried to attack Thunder, but she ate a spear for her troubles. Thunder went after Athena, however, the Forever Champ chokeslammed the challenger off the stage through a table. The battle waged on. Athena turned the tide by countering a rana into an avalanche powerbomb. Thunder kicked out on the cover, but Athena transitioned to a side surfboard submission to earn the win. Badass match selling the injuries to tell the story.
ROH World Championship: Bandido (c) defeated Konosuke Takeshita to retain the title. Wow. What a main event. Bandido hit the 21 Plex finisher, but Takeshita shockingly kicked out. The action went into overdrive. Bandido executed a moonsault slam, and that wasn’t enough to keep Takeshita down for the count. Takeshita put his knees up to block a shooting star press. Bandido regained control for the X Knee. The champ went for the 21 Plex again. Takeshita blocked this one to counter for a piledriver into a wheelbarrow German suplex. Takeshita followed with a running knee. Bandido kicked out at 1!!! Takeshita blasted a stiff forearm blow. He lifted the champ for the Raging Fire driver, but Bandido countered for an inside cradle. 1, 2, 3. Victory for Bandido! Hechicero came out afterward to call his shot next. This main event delivered on expectations as a Match of the Year contender in ROH. (Full details here.)
Great PPV from top to bottom. Definitely check this show out, if the style of wrestling suits you.
