Velocity Episode 2:
[Velocity intro]
[Pyro is going off; camera is panning around the arena looking at the crowd cheering]
[The Dudley Boyz and Spike make their entrance as the pyro ends]
Corey Graves:
“Welcome everyone to the second episode of Monumental Wrestling Velocity, we’re starting off hot today as the Dudley Boyz mean business!”
[The Colons with Carlito make their entrance]
Monumental Wresting men’s tag team championship tournament match, quarter finals.
The Dudley Boyz vs The Colons
[The bell rings]
D-Von and Primo start the match. Primo starts with challenging D-Von to a test of strength, he originally gets the upper hand before being overpowered. Once he realises he’s outmatched he gives him a swift kick to the gut before gloating to the crowd. D-von arises, sizing him up while his back is turned. Eventually he catches on when the crowd start cheering louder and runs towards him but D-Von flapjacks him on to the ropes!

[D-Von and Epico are legal]
D-Von is looking in rough shape, The Colons have been isolating him well. He tries to crawl towards the corner to tag in Bubba but gets hit by an elbow drop from Epico who then drags him back towards his corner. TAG! In comes Primo, they both Irish whip him towards the ropes, Primo drops down on the rebound, Epico leapfrogs. Then Epico hits him with a drop toe hold followed by a double stomp to the spine from Primo. Cover!
1! 2! … NO!
Primo grabs D-Von’s leg… HE PUSHES HIM OFF, KNOCKING HIM TO THE FLOOR. D-Von is making his way to Bubba with the crowd willing him on. TAG! IN COMES BUBBA RAY! EPICO RUSHES THE RING, BUBBA BOMB! Primo is back up and walks into a 3D!
1! 2! … 3!
The Dudley Boyz have beaten The Colons and are moving on in the men’s tag title tournament.
[Match time: 15 minutes 19 seconds]
[Camera cuts to backstage]
Dominik Mysterio and Low-Ki are beating down Mascara Dorada who was preparing for his match in the main event tonight. They throw him into some studio boxes and focus kicking his legs.
Renee Paquette:
“Dominik must have been irked by what Mascara said last week but this is unacceptable!”
Corey:
“We’ll have to get him evaluated and see if he can even compete tonight.”
[Camera cuts back to the arena then Bobby Roode makes his entrance]
[Nick Wayne makes his entrance]
Monumental Wresting men’s world championship tournament match, round of 16.
Bobby Roode vs Nick Wayne
[The bell rings]
Roode comes out throwing punches, Wayne is trying to block them to get him in a headlock in an attempt to weight him down and tire him out but Roode’s strength is on a level above this early into the match.

Roode is staggered in the middle of the ring… RUNNING EUROPEAN UPPERCUT BY NICK WAYNE! HE GOES BACK TO THE CORNER, ROODE IS UP! ROLLING CODE RED!
1! 2! … KICKOUT!
Renee:
“Wayne has been giving his absolute all but the resilience of Roode is just enough to keep him in this.”
Corey:
“Wayne needs to not get desperate, stay calm and calculated otherwise he could cost himself this match.”
Roode is being sized up, WAYNE’S WORLD… BUT ROODE DODGED IT! SPINEBUSTER TO WAYNE! HE PICKS HIM BACK UP, GLORIOUS DDT!
1! 2! … 3!
It’s all over, Roode advances!
[Match time: 12 minutes 3 seconds]
[Camera pans up to the rafters]
Corey:
“Is that? That’s Raven! What’s he doing up there?”
Renee:
“He seems to be watching someone but who?”
Neither Bobby nor Nick have noticed Raven watching over them.
[Cuts to backstage where Karman Petrovic is being consoled and given a pep talk by Hannah Taylor and Wren Sinclair]
Hannah Taylor:
“Don’t worry about Dream Dollz, they are two very conniving mean girls. They should be focusing on their match next week.”
[Christy Hemme enters the locker room]
Christy Hemme:
“Sorry to bother you guys, I was just wondering what the plan was following your loss on the debut episode of Heat?”
Karmen Petrovic:
“We shall see, I need to bounce back so hopefully I can be given another opportunity to showcase who I really am. I have my new friends, Hannah and Wren supporting me so who knows, maybe our future lies together.”
Wren Sinclair:
“I think us having each other’s back will be good. With the way the landscape of this company is playing out, we’ll need each other.
[Cuts back to the arena]
[Charlotte Flair makes her entrance]
[Mandy Rose makes her entrance]
Monumental Wrestling women’s world championship tournament match, quarter finals.
Charlotte Flair vs Mandy Rose
[The bell rings]
Collar-and-elbow tie-up to start things off, Mandy starts wrenching the arm of Charlotte who cartwheels to gain control and wrench instead. Followed by Mandy cartwheeling back, however instead of wrenching her arm she yanks it, sending her straight down to the mat.

Corey:
“God’s greatest creation picks up the queen! Beautiful delayed suplex, she went with such an impact.”
1! 2! … NO!
Mandy picks up Charlotte, goes for kiss the rose but it’s ducked! Off the ropes… BIG BOOT BY FLAIR!
1! 2! KICKOUT!
Mandy’s still in this!
[The crowd is getting behind Charlotte]
They’re both up, knife edge chop to the chest of Mandy… AGAIN and AGAIN, over and over. BIG BOOT TO THE FACE. FLAIR IS GOING FOR THE FIGURE FOUR!
[A loud “woo” is shouted by Charlotte, followed by the crowd doing the same]
Renee:
“Rose is writhing in pain! How much mor can she take?!”
Desperation smacks to the face by Mandy, some hitting, some barely missing as she tries stop Charlotte with all her might. FLAIR BRIDGES UP! WILL MANDY TAP????
…… SHE TAPS!
Charlotte wins by submission.
[Match time: 14 minutes 3 seconds]

[Cuts to the commentary desk]
Renee:
“Slater and Gabrial haven’t teamed together in so long. I wonder how their chemistry will be against a team on the up in the wrestling world right now.”
Corey:
“It’ll definitely be an uphill battle for sure but what about Raven vs Bandido? What kind of part will Rhyno play in all of this? Bandido should be well prepared after knowing Raven shall be his opponent next.”
Renee:
“We can’t forget our first match of the night! A triple threat tag match where anyone can win!”
Corey:
“Very true, they’ll have to rely on the best teamwork to get past two other teams.”
[Don Callis makes his entrance]
[Loud boos ring throughout the arena]
Don Callis:
“The Don Callis Family has spanned across many different companies. We have had many different people come and go due to them not being up to snuff anymore. Some even vying for the world title, that doesn’t matter though because that title belongs to me and my family. Before I introduce you to the members of my family, I want to remind you, I love these people. They aren’t just dispensable, they are loving people.”
[Kazuchika Okada makes his entrance]
Don:
“Here is the rainmaker. A combined 7-time IWGP heavyweight and world heavyweight champion. A 4-time G1 Climax winner. Full of knowledge and experience, an excellent mentor to younger members of the family.”
[Kyle Fletcher makes his entrance]
Don:
“This is the protostar. He has a total of 18 tag championship reigns to his name but now he’s going for solo gold. At the age of 26-years-old, this man is the future of our business, the future of Monumental Wrestling.”
[Ayako Hamada makes her entrance]
Don:
“And finally, this woman has been a champion across 13 different promotions in Mexico, Japan and the United States in places such as: AAA, All Japan Women’s, TNA and more.
[The camera zooms out to show all three wrestlers looking menacing and stoic]
Don:
“Justin Credible. Next week, you are in for a world of hurt. You get to face the best wrestler in the world, Kazuchika Okada and there’s no chance you have in beating him. But hey, at least you’ll be able to say you lost to the overall winner.”
[Two graphics show on the screen, first is match 4 of Velocity next week: Justin Credible vs Kazuchika Okada and then the main event: Trish Stratus vs Athena]
Corey:
“Don Callis really means business and we shall see the kind of plan he puts together next week.”
Renee:
“Then we have Trish and Athena, two unbelievable talents and very worthy of main eventing any show. It’s hard to think that either of these will be out in the first round but that’s just how tournaments work. They both drew a tough matchup.”
[Proud and Powerful make their entrance with Low-Ki]
Renee:
“Oh no. We’ve seen what happens when an L.A.X team have made their way to the ring with Low-Ki…”
[War Machine make their entrance]
Corey:
“I guess maybe Proud and Powerful have different kind of game plan, one a bit more honourable.”
Renee:
“That may be true Graves but don’t forget about Low-Ki, he might try and get involved one way or another.

Proud and Powerful vs War Machine
[The bell rings]
Ortiz and Hanson start off, they slowly walk towards each other, sizing each other up. CHOP! Ortiz smacks the sweat off Hanson who returns a thunderous chop of his own. Chops back and forth, over and over and over again. Ortiz then turns it into a battle of elbow strikes, testing the resilience of each man. Who will fall first?
HANSON ROCKS ORTIZ, he sends him a second one, the first time a strike wasn’t returned. Ortiz stumbles back, quickly recuperates, LARIAT! BUT HANSON IS STILL UP! Off the ropes… BIG BOOT! HANSON FALLS, RUNNING SENTON INTO A COVER!
1! … KICK OUT BEFORE 2!

[Rowe and Santana are in the ring]
Rowe goes for a discus clothesline but Santana ducks it but before he can turn back around… GERMAN SUPLEX! Rowe was quick with that one! Bridging cover!
1! 2! THE REFEREE IS PULLED OUT BY LOW-KI!
Renee:
“I guess Low-Ki didn’t have faith in Santana.”
The referee is annoyed and confused. He points at Low-Ki, say “you…. GET OUTTA HERE!” Pointing to the entrance, banishing him from ringside. Ortiz argues with the ref while Rowe picks up Santana. ELBOW! Santana knocks Rowe back and manages to get to the corner and in comes Ortiz. Enziguri to the temple of Rowe who falls to the mat. Ortiz has a full mount sending many clubbing blows, he gets off to taunt the crowd. Turning his back has left Rowe able to crawls to his partner, TAG! Here comes Hanson with the power of a freight train! Ortiz tries to stop him with a clothesline but he cartwheels around him, jumps behind him and hits him with a German suplex.
1! 2! …. BROKEN UP BY SANTANA!
Santana gets thrown out of the ring by Rowe then Hanson picks up his own partner and powerbombs him onto Ortiz! Hanson picks up the prone L.A.X member and SIN CITY PLUNGE! ROWE IS WATCHING FOR ANY INTERFERENCE!
1! 2! … 3!
WAR MACHINE HAVE BEATEN PROUD AND POWERFUL!
[Match time: 17 minutes 45 seconds]
Corey:
“Wow! War Machine have knocked off Proud and Powerful and move on in the tag title tournament. This can’t make Konnan happy, I’m sure there will be words said to them when they get to the back.”
Renee:
“The seemed to not want Low-Ki involved but that’s that and what is now is War Machine and the incredible performance they displayed.”
Corey:
“Indeed, they’ll face the Dudley Boyz in the next round to see who will move on to Ground Zero.”

Corey:
“A brilliant clash of styles on Friday as Mistico takes on Taichi.”
[Dream Dollz make their way to the ring]
Mariah May:
“The Glamour and The Beauty Wrester are here to takeover. Gold runs through our veins, those titles are ours for the taking. We deserve them, we run this division.”
Zoe Lucas:
“The Dream Dollz are the two most monumental people in this company. We are the standard. Liv and Raquel and The IIconics are no match for these princesses.”
[The IIconics make their entrance]
Billie Kay:
“You’ve gotta be joking me! If you two think you’re getting through us, you have got another thing coming.”
Peyton Royce:
“You two think you’re glamorous little princesses, which is cute it really is but what you’ll never be is…”
Billie and Peyton in unison:
“IICONIC!”
[Liv Mogan and Raquel Rodriguez make their entrance with Dominik Mysterio]
Liv Morgan:
“Will you four shut the hell up, oh my god! You have no chance of beating me and Raquel so you’re just running your mouths without any chance of backing it up. It’s just sad but at least for you, you get to be in the ring with greatness. Keep looking girls, this is what your future double champion looks like.”
Mariah:
“God what a bitch you are.”
Liv:
“You better shut your mouth, you aren’t even in the world title tournament, so you aren’t on my level.”
Mariah steps up to Liv but Raquel gets in front of Liv like her bodyguard. A big stare down between the two as the IIconics slide out of the ring wanting no part in this.
HEATBUTT! Mariah will not be intimidated by anyone! Raquel drops to the mat from the impact, Liv and Dom get her out of the ring. Dream Dollz pose for the camera.
[A graphic shows off a new match for Heat: The Hurricane vs Kyle Fletcher]
Corey:
“The Protostar takes on The Hurricane this Friday night! Who comes out on top? Tune in to find out.”
[Mascara Dorada make his way to the ring, bruised up with taped ribs]
Renee:
“Mascara Dorada looks pretty banged up; I’m surprised he’s coming out here.”
Corey:
“It just shows the strength and the heart of this man to compete. Becoming the first world champion means so much to everyone.”
[Bandido makes his entrance]
Monumental Wresting men’s world championship tournament match, round of 16.
Mascara Dorada vs Bandido
[The bell rings]
Bandido puts his hand out as a sign off respect, Mascara shakes his hand.

Mascara is looking tired, it’s clear Bandido is in the better shape right now. Bandido picks him up for a suplex, he keeps him up for five seconds before driving him down.
Corey:
“See it’s much easier for Bandido to do these power moves as he hasn’t been taped up from a prior assault. The wind looks to have been knocked out of Dorada there.”
Bandido climbs up top, but Mascara is up! AVALANCHE HURRICANRANA! BANDIDO’S MOVEMENTUM BRINGS HIM TO HIS FEET. ROLLING CODE RED! DORADA HAS A TIGHT COVER!
1! 2! …. NOOOOO! BANDIDO KICKS OUT!
To keep up the momentum he keeps on the offence, he hits him with a poisonrana. Then back up to the top rope to try and finish him with a shooting star press. He takes off… CUTTER, BANDIDO NAILS HIM! NOW HE CLIMBS! FROG SPLASH!
1! 2! …. 3!
Bandido is through to the next round.
[Match time: 15 minutes 22 seconds]
Bandido after having his hand raised, he goes over to Mascara to help him up.
Corey:
“Mascara put up such a noble fight but just couldn’t get it done. Who knows if he were to be 100% if he could have won this fight.”
The two wrestlers make their way arm-in-arm and then BAM! Jumping high knee to Bandido from and incoming Low-Ki. Dominik Mysterio runs in to hit Mascara with a shotgun dropkick.
Renee:
“WHEN WILL THESE TWO STOP? Thay can’t get enough of beating up poor Mascara.”
[Low-Ki and Dominik stand tall on the stage as the screen fades to black]
