AYW Rage In The Cage

All Your Wrestling By All Your Wrestling 9 Nov 2024 35 min read

The arena goes dark as the crowd erupts in anticipation. Suddenly, a countdown appears on the big screen, ticking down from 10. The fans count along loudly, building excitement. As the countdown hits zero, a huge pyro display erupts at the top of the stage, with fireworks shooting off in all directions. The lights flash in red and black, illuminating the crowd roaring with energy.

Michael Cole: “Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Rage in the Cage! We’re here live, and what a night it’s going to be!”

Nigel McGuinness: “This is what you call a powder keg, Cole! We’ve got grudges to settle, championships on the line, and steel cages ready to lock these warriors in like animals!”

Excalibur: “Tonight is going to be unforgettable. Rage in the Cage is all about no escape, no mercy, and absolute carnage!”

The cameras pan across the hyped crowd, some fans holding signs with names of their favorite wrestlers and slogans like “Let Them Fight!” and “AYW: Unstoppable!” before landing on the steel structure hanging ominously above the ring.

Michael Cole: “And there it is, folks—the very structure that will change careers tonight. That steel cage will hold some of our biggest names with nowhere to run!”

Nigel McGuinness: “We’ve got grudges coming to a head, alliances put to the test, and rivalries that will finally be settled. Excalibur, who are you most excited to see enter that unforgiving steel tonight?”

Excalibur: “I’ve got my eye on that triple threat cage match for the AYW Tag Team Championships. The Lucha Bros, FTR, and The Young Bucks are going to tear each other apart for those titles!”

The lights dim again as a spotlight shines on the announcers.

Michael Cole: “And we’re just getting started, folks! Let’s not waste any more time—our first cage match of the night is coming up right now!”

The crowd roars as the opening theme music for the first competitors blares through the speakers. As the entrance lights flare up, the steel cage begins to descend, casting an ominous shadow over the ring.

First Match – Steel Cage Match
Bronson Reed vs. Samoa Joe

The lights dim as the steel cage finishes its descent, casting a menacing shadow over the ring. Samoa Joe’s music hits first, and the crowd explodes as he makes his way to the ring, intensity in his eyes. Joe cracks his knuckles and stares up at the steel structure, clearly ready for a war. Moments later, Bronson Reed’s music blares, and the crowd boos as he appears on the ramp, a cold, confident expression on his face. Reed slowly walks to the ring, unbothered by the cage or Joe, as if the brutality awaiting him is just another day in his world.

Michael Cole: “This is going to be brutal, folks. These two monsters are about to go to war in this cage.”

Nigel McGuinness: “It’s pure power versus raw intensity. Bronson Reed might be on a roll, but Joe isn’t going down easy.”

The bell rings, and both men step into the center of the ring, each sizing up the other. Suddenly, Joe strikes with a brutal forearm smash, and Reed responds with one of his own. The two giants exchange stiff strikes, each blow echoing throughout the arena as the crowd cheers on the intensity. Joe quickly gets the upper hand, driving Reed back against the ropes, and then whips him into the cage wall, sending Reed’s face crashing against the unforgiving steel.

Excalibur: “Joe’s wasting no time here—he wants to make Reed pay from the get-go!”

Joe continues the assault, slamming Reed’s face into the cage repeatedly, drawing the first trickle of blood from Reed’s forehead. Reed staggers, but fires back with a massive headbutt that stuns Joe. Reed grabs Joe by the head and drags him to the side of the cage, smashing his face into the steel as revenge. Now both men are bleeding, and the cage is starting to look like a battlefield.

Michael Cole: “This isn’t just a match—it’s a war! Both men are willing to go to any lengths tonight.”

Reed scoops Joe up and slams him into the mat, shaking the ring with the impact. He follows up with a series of knee strikes to Joe’s head, each one more punishing than the last. Joe struggles to get to his feet, but Reed doesn’t let up, taunting Joe as he hits him with a massive splash against the cage wall. Joe looks dazed, but as Reed taunts, he digs deep and locks Reed into a surprise Coquina Clutch from behind! The crowd goes wild as Reed struggles, fighting against Joe’s powerful grip.

Nigel McGuinness: “Joe’s got it locked in! This might be the opening he needs!”

Reed tries to escape, slamming Joe against the cage wall, but Joe won’t let go, his arms squeezing tighter around Reed’s neck. In a desperate move, Reed stumbles backward into the turnbuckle with Joe still clinging on, breaking Joe’s hold with sheer force. Reed gasps for air, but he quickly recovers and nails Joe with a running splash, flattening him against the cage!

Excalibur: “Bronson Reed is an unstoppable force tonight! He’s treating Joe like a ragdoll!”

Reed climbs the ropes, signaling for a high-impact move. The crowd is in shock as Reed leaps from the second rope, aiming a huge splash onto Joe, who’s laid out on the mat. Joe rolls out of the way at the last second, and Reed crashes hard onto the mat, clutching his ribs. Joe seizes the opportunity, lifting Reed and driving him head-first into the cage wall, leaving Reed momentarily stunned. But just as Joe starts to capitalize, Reed surprises him with a vicious low blow, leaving Joe doubled over.

Michael Cole: “Oh, come on! Reed will do anything to win, even if it means fighting dirty!”

With Joe weakened, Reed regains his composure, lifting Joe in an impressive Samoan Drop that shakes the entire ring. Bronson stands over Joe, blood streaming down his face, grinning as he drags Joe to the center of the ring. Reed climbs to the top turnbuckle, signaling for his devastating Tsunami Splash.

Bronson leaps from the top and lands directly onto Joe, crushing him with the full force of his weight. Reed makes the cover, and the referee counts:

1… 2… 3!

The bell rings as Reed’s hand is raised in victory. The crowd boos as Reed stands over Joe’s broken body, reveling in the brutality he just unleashed. The cage begins to lift as Reed smirks, clearly proud of the carnage he left behind.

bronson reed

Michael Cole: “That was absolute destruction! Bronson Reed just sent a message to the entire AYW roster.”

Nigel McGuinness: “You can hate his tactics, but you can’t deny his dominance. Bronson Reed is a monster unleashed!”

Excalibur: “Samoa Joe fought with everything he had, but tonight was Reed’s night. No one can ignore what he just did inside that cage.”

As Reed exits, he glares at the crowd, pointing to the ring as if to say, “This is my territory.” Samoa Joe is helped to his feet by officials, bloodied but defiant, as the fans show their respect with a chant of “Joe! Joe! Joe!”

Backstage Segment – Renee Paquette Interviews Thunder Rosa

The camera cuts backstage to Renee Paquette, standing in the interview area, looking energized and ready. Thunder Rosa steps into frame, her face painted, eyes fierce with determination. She adjusts her wrist tape, clearly preparing herself mentally for her upcoming match.

Renee Paquette: “Ladies and gentlemen, joining me right now is one of the most fierce and resilient competitors in the AYW women’s division, Thunder Rosa! Thunder, tonight you step into the ring with one of the most dangerous women in this business, Rhea Ripley, with the AYW Women’s Championship on the line. What’s going through your mind heading into this huge match?”

Thunder Rosa takes a deep breath, then locks eyes with Renee, speaking with a calm but intense tone.

Thunder Rosa: “Renee, this match… this moment, it means everything to me. Ever since I stepped into that ring, I’ve been fighting tooth and nail to get to the top. And tonight, I’m just one match away from making that dream come true.”

She clenches her fists, looking off into the distance for a moment, then refocuses on Renee and the camera.

Thunder Rosa: “Rhea Ripley, she’s strong, she’s ruthless, and yeah, she loves to intimidate people. But I don’t scare easy. I’ve faced giants, I’ve faced champions, and I’ve taken every beating that’s come my way and kept on fighting. Rhea might be a powerhouse, but she’s never faced someone with my heart, my fire.”

Renee Paquette: “It’s clear you’re ready to give everything, but Rhea has shown she’ll stop at nothing to keep that title around her waist. Do you feel any pressure knowing she’ll do whatever it takes to win?”

Thunder Rosa: smirking slightly “Oh, I know she will, Renee. But I’m not walking into that ring to play by her rules. Rhea’s used to being the predator, but tonight? She’s gonna find out what it’s like to be the hunted. I’m not backing down, and I’m not stopping until that title is mine.”

Thunder Rosa looks into the camera, her intensity building.

Thunder Rosa: “Rhea, I hope you’re watching this. Tonight, I’m bringing the fight to you. And when that bell rings, you’re gonna see exactly why I’m called La Mera Mera. I’m leaving that cage tonight with the AYW Women’s Championship… no matter what.”

Rosa’s gaze is unbreakable as she stares down the camera, her determination radiating. Renee looks both impressed and excited.

Renee Paquette: “There you have it, folks—Thunder Rosa, more focused than ever, and ready to bring everything she’s got. Tonight, it’s going to be Thunder Rosa versus Rhea Ripley for the AYW Women’s Championship, and if this interview is any indication, we are in for one intense showdown.”

Thunder Rosa

Thunder Rosa nods to Renee and walks off, fire in her eyes as she heads toward her destiny. Renee watches her go, then looks back to the camera.

Renee Paquette: “It’s all happening tonight—don’t go anywhere, because Rage in the Cage is just getting started!”

The scene fades back to ringside, leaving fans buzzing with excitement for the upcoming title clash.

Second Match – Grudge Match
Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. vs. “Unhinged” Toni Storm

The lights dim, and the crowd buzzes as Dr. Britt Baker’s music hits. She walks onto the stage with her signature confidence, taunting the fans and adjusting her gloves as she makes her way to the ring. Her entrance is focused and intense; she knows she’s stepping into a fight tonight.

Michael Cole: “Here comes Dr. Britt Baker, one of the toughest women in AYW. She’s always ready to prove she’s the best, and tonight, she’s here to end her rivalry with Toni Storm.”

Nigel McGuinness: “But she’s facing a completely unpredictable Toni Storm! This woman has been acting more and more unhinged, and that’s going to make her dangerous.”

Britt enters the ring, doing her “D.M.D.” taunt to the crowd, who respond with a mix of cheers and boos. The atmosphere changes as Toni Storm’s music blares, but it’s slowed down and warped, creating an unsettling effect. Toni walks out looking disheveled, with her makeup smudged, her hair messy, and an eerie, twitchy expression on her face. She stares out at the crowd, then focuses on Britt with an unsettling intensity, muttering to herself as she approaches the ring.

Excalibur: “Toni Storm looks like she’s completely lost it… and that makes her a wild card in this match!”

Michael Cole: “Britt might be in for more than she bargained for with this version of Toni Storm. I don’t think anyone can predict what she’ll do in there.”

The bell rings, and Britt watches Toni warily, sensing the danger. Toni grins, tilting her head in a way that makes the audience squirm. She suddenly lunges at Britt, swinging wildly with a flurry of punches and strikes that catch Britt off guard, forcing her back into the corner.

Britt tries to fight her off, but Toni’s intensity is overwhelming, as she screams and cackles, throwing her entire body into every strike. Toni hits a hard headbutt that staggers Britt, then grabs her by the hair and whips her violently into the opposite corner. Britt stumbles, trying to create distance, but Toni follows with a running knee strike, almost knocking Britt out of the ring.

Nigel McGuinness: “Toni Storm is absolutely relentless! It’s like she’s possessed!”

As Britt recovers on the mat, Toni stands in the center of the ring, laughing maniacally, her eyes wide as she stares down at her opponent. She begins taunting Britt, urging her to get up, slapping her own head and talking to herself. Britt slowly gets to her feet, and Toni goes for another wild strike, but Britt ducks and counters with a well-timed superkick to Toni’s face.

Excalibur: “There’s that ring awareness from Britt Baker! She knows how to capitalize on any opening.”

Britt starts to take control, hitting a series of forearms and a swinging neckbreaker, bringing the crowd to life. She lifts Toni, whipping her into the ropes and connecting with a stiff elbow to the jaw. Toni stumbles, momentarily thrown off balance, and Britt seizes the chance to lock in a sleeper hold, trying to wear Toni down.

But Toni doesn’t just struggle—she begins laughing again, unsettling Britt. Toni claws at Britt’s hands, finally breaking free with a wild headbutt that makes both women stagger. She charges at Britt, but Britt sidesteps, causing Toni to slam shoulder-first into the ring post.

Britt quickly follows up, grabbing Toni and planting her with a devastating Fisherman’s Neckbreaker. With Toni down, Britt smirks and signals to the crowd for her finisher.

Michael Cole: “Britt’s ready to end it here! She’s got Toni right where she wants her!”

Britt grabs Toni’s arm, looking directly into her wild eyes as she locks in the Lockjaw submission. Toni thrashes, screaming and clawing at Britt’s face, but Britt wrenches the hold tighter, her hand firmly over Toni’s mouth. Toni’s movements slow as she begins to fade, and the referee checks on her before calling for the bell.

The crowd erupts as Britt releases the hold, raising her arms in victory.

Ring Announcer: “Here is your winner, Dr. Britt Baker… D.M.D.!”

britt baker

Britt stands over Toni, smirking and motioning that she’s the best. But as Britt exits the ring, Toni stirs on the mat, slowly sitting up. Her expression is vacant at first, then shifts to an unsettling smile. She starts laughing softly, then louder, almost maniacally, as she stares after Britt, rocking slightly and muttering to herself.

Excalibur: “What… what is going on with Toni Storm? She looks more unhinged than ever.”

Nigel McGuinness: “She’s lost, Excalibur. This match didn’t just cost her a victory—it might have pushed her over the edge.”

Michael Cole: “If we thought she was unstable before, who knows what this loss has done to her.”

The screen fades to black as Toni continues laughing in the ring, eyes wide and fixated on nothing, leaving an eerie feeling lingering in the arena.

Backstage Segment – Christian Cage Arrives

The camera cuts backstage as Christian Cage arrives at his office, dressed in a sharp suit with a sly grin on his face. He casually strolls down the hallway, a sense of arrogance in his step. He pushes open the door to his office, where Renee Paquette is waiting with a mic in hand.

Renee Paquette: “Christian, tonight is Rage in the Cage, one of the biggest nights in AYW history. The fans want to know—what’s on your mind heading into such an important event?”

Christian takes a moment, smirking, then glances around his office before finally looking back at Renee, his eyes glinting with a cryptic intensity.

Christian Cage: “Renee, tonight isn’t just any night… it’s a turning point. For AYW, for the championships, for every single person who thinks they know how things are going to play out.”

He pauses, leaning slightly toward Renee, his tone becoming more deliberate.

Christian Cage: “People think they know what they’re getting tonight, but I’m here to make sure that everyone leaves surprised… some more than others. In this business, you have to be willing to rewrite things to stay on top. And I’ll be making a few adjustments tonight that might shake things up a bit.”

Renee raises an eyebrow, intrigued.

Renee Paquette: “Adjustments? Can you tell us anything specific?”

Christian chuckles, clearly enjoying the mystery. He taps his finger to his lips, then leans in a little closer.

Christian Cage: “Let’s just say… by the end of the night, everyone will remember who really holds the power around here. And for some people, things are going to get… a lot more complicated.”

Christian gives Renee a wink and then turns, entering his office without another word, leaving Renee and the viewers guessing. She watches him go, visibly intrigued and slightly unsettled.

Renee Paquette: “Well, you heard it, folks. Christian Cage has a few surprises up his sleeve tonight… and something tells me they’re not going to be good news for everyone involved.”

The scene fades back to ringside, leaving the audience buzzing with anticipation about what Christian has planned for Rage in the Cage.

Third Match – AYW Tag Team Championship Match
The Acclaimed (c) vs. The Young Bucks

The crowd erupts as The Acclaimed’s music hits, and Max Caster and Anthony Bowens make their way to the ring, hyping up the fans. Caster grabs a mic as they reach ringside, ready to drop one of his signature raps.

Max Caster:
(rapping)
“Tonight’s Rage in the Cage, it’s time to bring the fight,
The Bucks think they’re stars, but they’re far from the light.
We’re the champs for a reason, we’re the kings of the stage,
And just like Twitter, we’re gonna cancel the Bucks tonight at Rage!”

Bowens grabs the mic as the crowd cheers.

Anthony Bowens: “AYW… The Acclaimed have arrived!”

They hold up their titles, soaking in the cheers before handing them off to the referee. Moments later, The Young Bucks’ music hits, and Nick and Matt Jackson make their way down the ramp, doing their signature taunts as they prepare for their chance at gold. The Bucks are met with a mix of cheers and boos, knowing the fan-favorite champs stand in their way.

Excalibur: “This match is about more than just the titles. It’s two of the hottest teams in wrestling going head-to-head!”

Michael Cole: “The Young Bucks have been around the world, proving they’re the best, but tonight they face The Acclaimed, who have taken the AYW tag division by storm.”

The bell rings, and Bowens and Nick start things off, circling each other before locking up. Bowens quickly gains the upper hand with a headlock, but Nick slips out, flipping backward and landing a sharp dropkick that sends Bowens into the corner. The Young Bucks start with their signature fast-paced offense, taking advantage with rapid tags, and double-team moves.

Nick and Matt showcase their agility and chemistry, hitting Bowens with a double dropkick followed by a quick moonsault from Nick. Bowens manages to kick out at two, reaching for Caster, but Matt drags him back to the Bucks’ corner, working him over with a flurry of punches and quick tags with Nick.

Nigel McGuinness: “The Bucks are showing why they’re one of the best tag teams in the world. They’re cutting off the ring, isolating Bowens from his partner.”

Bowens fights back, catching Matt with a hard elbow to the jaw and following up with a surprise spinebuster that leaves both men down. With the crowd rallying, Bowens makes the hot tag to Caster, who bursts into the ring with a fury. He levels Nick with a clothesline, then takes down Matt with a leaping flying shoulder block.

Caster’s on fire, lifting Nick and hitting a fisherman’s suplex for a near-fall. The crowd is on their feet as Caster signals for Bowens to join him, and they hit Nick with their combination superkick and cutter, knocking him out of the ring. The Bucks regroup outside, but The Acclaimed don’t wait. They run the ropes and leap over with a double dive, crashing into the Bucks on the outside!

Michael Cole: “The Acclaimed are taking it to the Bucks! They’re not holding anything back in this title defense!”

Back in the ring, Caster and Bowens set up for their finisher, but Matt sneaks in with a surprise superkick to Bowens, breaking up the attempt. The Bucks go for the Meltzer Driver on Caster, but Bowens recovers just in time, yanking Nick off the ropes to prevent the move. Caster takes advantage, countering Matt with a back body drop.

With Matt down, The Acclaimed seize the moment. They grab Matt, setting up and executing their devastating finisher, The Mic Drop – Caster comes down from the top rope with an elbow drop while Bowens holds Matt in position. Caster connects, and Bowens covers Matt as the crowd chants along with the ref:

Crowd: “One! Two! Three!”

The bell rings, and the crowd explodes as The Acclaimed successfully defend their titles.

Ring Announcer: “Here are your winners, and STILL the AYW Tag Team Champions… The Acclaimed!”

Caster and Bowens stand tall, raising their titles to a massive ovation from the crowd. They celebrate in the ring, sharing a moment with the fans as The Young Bucks regroup outside, looking disappointed but respectful of the champs’ victory.

Excalibur: “The Acclaimed retain, and what a performance! They showed tonight why they’re the top team in AYW!”

Nigel McGuinness: “The Bucks pushed them to their limits, but The Acclaimed just proved they’re on another level right now.”

Michael Cole: “The Acclaimed have established themselves as the top team in AYW, and with wins like this, it’s going to take something extraordinary to take those titles away from them.”

The Acclaimed continue to celebrate with the fans, feeding off the energy, as the screen fades to the next segment.

Backstage Segment – Referee Exits Christian Cage’s Office

The camera cuts backstage to show a referee stepping out of Christian Cage’s office, visibly frustrated. He mutters something under his breath, shaking his head as he walks away. The door slowly shuts behind him, leaving the audience to wonder what happened inside.

The camera lingers on the referee for a moment as he heads down the hallway, his expression troubled, before cutting back to commentary.

Excalibur: “What was that about? That ref did not look happy coming out of Christian Cage’s office.”

Michael Cole: “Christian did mention earlier that he had ‘adjustments’ in mind tonight… I have a feeling we’re only beginning to see what he’s got planned.”

Nigel McGuinness: “Well, whatever it is, it’s clearly bothering some people around here. Christian Cage loves to stir the pot, and I’d bet he’s cooking up something big.”

The commentators exchange curious glances, and the intrigue around Christian Cage’s intentions grows. Fans are left wondering if there’s more going on behind the scenes, and what impact it might have on the rest of the night.

Fourth Match – AYW Women’s World Championship Match

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Thunder Rosa

The arena darkens, and Thunder Rosa’s music hits, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Thunder Rosa emerges with her signature face paint, radiating determination. She strides to the ring, focused and ready to take down the dominant champion. Once in the ring, she raises her fists, feeding off the crowd’s energy.

The crowd then erupts with a mix of boos and cheers as Rhea Ripley’s music blasts through the speakers. Rhea walks out with her AYW Women’s World Championship around her waist, exuding confidence and defiance. She smirks at the crowd, unphased by the intensity around her. Rhea steps into the ring, staring down Rosa with a cold, intimidating glare.

Excalibur: “Rhea Ripley has been a nearly unstoppable force, but if anyone’s got the heart and grit to go toe-to-toe with her, it’s Thunder Rosa!”

Michael Cole: “Thunder Rosa’s known for her resilience, but Rhea’s got the power advantage here. Can Rosa find a way to overcome that tonight?”

The referee holds up the Women’s Championship as both women stare each other down, neither backing down. The bell rings, and the two immediately lock up in a test of strength, but Rhea quickly overpowers Rosa, forcing her into the corner. Rhea throws a brutal forearm, but Rosa ducks under and counters with a series of rapid punches and kicks, aiming to wear down the champ early on.

Rosa’s strikes force Rhea to step back, but Rhea absorbs the hits, grabbing Rosa and launching her into the ropes. Rhea follows up with a devastating big boot, sending Rosa crashing to the mat. Rhea follows up by lifting Rosa for a delayed vertical suplex, showcasing her power as she holds Rosa up before slamming her down with authority. She covers for an early pin, but Rosa kicks out at two.

Nigel McGuinness: “Rhea’s strength is unparalleled in this division, but Rosa has something you can’t train—heart. She’s not going down that easily!”

Rhea smirks, pulling Rosa to her feet and tossing her into the corner. She charges in for a shoulder tackle, but Rosa dodges at the last second, causing Rhea to crash into the ring post. Taking advantage, Rosa lands a dropkick to Rhea’s back, forcing her to stumble. Rosa then jumps onto Rhea with a springboard crossbody, finally taking her down for a two-count.

Rosa, undeterred, transitions into a series of quick moves, hitting Rhea with a snap DDT and following up with a senton. She covers again, but Rhea powers out at two, shoving Rosa away with authority.

Both women get to their feet, and the battle intensifies. Rhea tries to hoist Rosa up for the Riptide, but Rosa counters, slipping out and nailing Rhea with a roundhouse kick to the side of the head. The crowd erupts as Rosa goes for her Thunder Driver, lifting Rhea into position! But Rhea powers out, shoving Rosa off and hitting a brutal headbutt that staggers her challenger.

Michael Cole: “Thunder Rosa gave it her best shot there, but Rhea Ripley is just too strong!”

Rhea takes control, lifting Rosa into a gorilla press and throwing her down. She follows up with a brutal running knee to the face, leaving Rosa dazed. With a fierce look in her eyes, Rhea signals for the end, pulling Rosa up and setting her up once more. She hits the Riptide with authority, slamming Rosa to the mat and covering her for the pin.

Referee: “One! Two! Three!”

The bell rings as Rhea’s music hits, and the referee raises her hand, declaring her the victor.

Ring Announcer: “Here is your winner, and STILL the AYW Women’s World Champion… Rhea Ripley!”

Rhea stands tall, raising her championship high as she stares down at Rosa, who is still recovering on the mat. She smirks, holding her title above her head, cementing her dominance.

rhea ripley

Excalibur: “Thunder Rosa gave it everything she had, but Rhea Ripley proved once again why she’s the champion. Her power and tenacity are just on another level.”

Nigel McGuinness: “Rhea Ripley’s reign continues, and with each victory, she becomes even more unstoppable.”

As Rhea exits the ring, Thunder Rosa slowly pulls herself up, receiving a respectful round of applause from the crowd for her valiant effort. Rosa may not have won the title, but her performance has earned her the crowd’s admiration as the screen fades to the next segment.

Backstage Interview – Jon Moxley with Renee Paquette

jon moxley

Renee Paquette stands backstage, looking a bit tense as she readies herself to interview her husband, Jon Moxley. Moxley steps into the frame, his intense gaze locked on Renee, ready to speak his mind.

Renee Paquette: “Jon, a lot of people have been wondering about your relationship with Christian Cage lately. After some cryptic interactions, fans want to know—are you aligned with him?”

Without missing a beat, Moxley scoffs, looking almost insulted at the question.

Jon Moxley: “Aligned with him? No chance. I don’t do ‘alignments,’ Renee, especially with some suit like Christian Cage. I’m my own man, and tonight, I’m walking into that cage with one mission: to rip that title out of Roman Reigns’ hands. I don’t care what tricks Cage has up his sleeve; he can play his games with everyone else.”

Just then, Christian Cage strolls into view, hands in his pockets and a smug smile on his face. He pauses beside Moxley and Renee, briefly glancing at Mox before giving Renee a polite nod. Cage’s expression shifts to a smirk, his eyes flickering with something unspoken as he lingers for a moment. He lets out a soft chuckle before continuing down the hallway without a word.

The tension between Moxley and Cage is thick as Cage walks away, his smirk leaving a sense of uncertainty in the air.

Renee Paquette: “Well… that was… interesting.”

Jon Moxley: (with a smirk of his own) “He can smirk all he wants, Renee. But tonight, when that bell rings, Christian Cage won’t be able to save Reigns from what’s coming. I’m taking that title. End of story.”

Moxley storms off, leaving Renee and the audience wondering just how much influence Cage truly has, and what impact his presence might have on Moxley’s championship pursuit.

In-Ring Segment – Justin Roberts Announces the TV Title Gauntlet Match Rules

Justin Roberts stands in the center of the ring, holding a microphone as the crowd buzzes with anticipation.

Justin Roberts: “Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is the Gauntlet Match for the AYW Television Championship!”

The crowd cheers as Roberts continues with the rules.

Justin Roberts: “Two competitors will begin in the ring. Every three minutes, a new wrestler will enter the match. Eliminations can occur by pinfall or submission, and this will continue until only one competitor remains. The last wrestler standing will be crowned the AYW Television Champion!

The crowd erupts, clearly excited for the fast-paced, high-stakes action. Roberts steps back as the commentary team kicks in.

Excalibur: “A Gauntlet Match for the TV Title! This is a brutal format, where endurance and strategy are just as important as raw power.”

Michael Cole: “Every three minutes, another fresh competitor will hit the ring, meaning the wrestlers who start this match are at a major disadvantage. They’ll have to go through potentially five or more opponents!”

Nigel McGuinness: “This is not just about skill—it’s about survival. Whoever walks out of here with the AYW Television Championship tonight will have truly earned it, no doubt about that.”

The excitement builds as the arena lights focus on the entrance ramp, signaling that the first two competitors are about to make their way down to the ring. The crowd roars in anticipation of the grueling match ahead.

The Bell Rings
As soon as the bell rings, Gable goes right for Braun’s legs, trying to chop him down with quick kicks and a single-leg takedown attempt. Braun shoves him away effortlessly, sending Gable rolling across the ring. Gable gets back up and tries again, showing tenacity.

Michael Cole: “Gable’s giving up a lot of size here, but he’s not letting that stop him. He’s got heart, no doubt about it.”

Braun eventually catches Gable with a crushing shoulder tackle, flattening him. He lifts Gable and hits him with a brutal powerslam, going for the pin, but Gable kicks out at two! Braun looks slightly surprised and frustrated, as Gable rolls to the corner to recover.

Brody King storms down the ramp to join the chaos. Immediately, he goes after Braun, the two titans exchanging blows as the crowd erupts.

Excalibur: “We’ve got two monsters in that ring now! Brody King isn’t going to let Braun Strowman have his way in there.”

Brody gets the upper hand and nails Braun with a running cannonball into the corner, smashing him into the turnbuckles. Gable sees an opening and rolls up Brody King for a near-fall, narrowly escaping elimination! Brody immediately retaliates, shoving Gable into the ropes and delivering a brutal lariat.

Fourth Entrant – Matt Cardona

Nigel McGuinness: “Smart move by Cardona—he’s going after the one who’s already been softened up.”

Sixth Entrant – Komander
The high-flying Komander hits the ring, bringing even more chaos. He quickly scales the ropes and lands an insane 450 splash onto Brody King, going for a near-fall that Brody barely kicks out of.

Excalibur: “Komander is showing us why he’s one of the most exciting high-flyers in the world!”

Komander teams up with Darby for a moment, both of them going after Braun. They manage to knock him off balance and send him through the ropes, though Braun lands on his feet and stares back at them with a menacing glare.

Seventh Entrant – Lio Rush
Lio Rush sprints down the ramp and immediately adds even more speed to the match. He goes for Darby, hitting him with a springboard hurricanrana, sending Darby rolling out of the ring.

Meanwhile, Gable, showing incredible resilience, gets Komander in an ankle lock and nearly gets him to tap, but Brody King breaks it up with a brutal stomp. Strowman re-enters the ring and takes down both Gable and Lio with a double clothesline.

Eighth Entrant – Jey Uso (AYW Debut)
The arena erupts as Jey Uso makes his AYW debut, coming in hot and firing up the crowd. He targets Braun Strowman first, going right at him with a superkick that staggers the monster. He follows up with a running forearm on Brody King.

Michael Cole: “Jey Uso is here, and he’s making an impact right off the bat!”

Jey and Cardona team up to try and take down Braun with a series of superkicks, finally forcing him to the mat.

Ninth Entrant – Bryan Danielson
Bryan Danielson comes out to massive cheers. He storms into the ring, going straight for Chad Gable. They engage in a technical exchange, countering each other’s moves with precision.

Finally, Danielson catches Gable in a Labelle Lock, forcing Gable to tap out! The crowd shows respect to Gable as he exits the match.

Excalibur: “What a valiant effort from Chad Gable! He started this match and gave it everything he had.”

Danielson quickly moves on, shifting his focus to Cardona, nailing him with a series of stiff kicks and a running knee that nearly takes him out.

Tenth Entrant – Christian Cage (Announcing the Final Competitor)
Christian Cage’s music hits, and he steps onto the ramp with a microphone in hand. He pauses, smirking as he addresses the crowd.

Christian Cage: “You didn’t think I was actually going to get in that ring, did you? No, no, I’m here to introduce the REAL final entrant. Ladies and gentlemen… Ricky Starks!

Ricky Starks’s music hits, and he comes strutting down the ramp, full of confidence. He steps into the ring, immediately going after Lio Rush, catching him off guard with a spear and eliminating him.

Nigel McGuinness: “Ricky Starks has come in at just the right moment. Cage had this planned all along!”

Starks methodically works his way through the remaining competitors. He eliminates Komander after a Roshambo, then takes down Jey Uso with a spinning DDT.

The final three left are Bryan Danielson, Darby Allin, and Ricky Starks. Danielson goes after Starks, putting him in a Guillotine Choke, but Starks manages to counter with a backdrop suplex.

As Danielson tries to recover, Starks seizes the opportunity to lift him up for another Roshambo. He hits it clean and covers Bryan for the elimination, leaving Starks and Darby as the final two.

Darby, exhausted but fired up, fights with everything he has. He hits Starks with a Coffin Drop, but Starks rolls through, catching Darby in a pinning combination for a close two-count. The two trade strikes, each one trying to get the upper hand.

Finally, Starks catches Darby with a surprise spear, taking him down for the three-count.

Justin Roberts: “Here is your winner, and the NEW AYW Television Champion… Ricky Starks!”

Excalibur: “Ricky Starks, the handpicked competitor, has walked out of here with the AYW Television Championship!”

Michael Cole: “Was this Cage’s plan all along? He just handed the match to Starks on a silver platter!”

Nigel McGuinness: “Like it or not, Starks took advantage of the opportunity and made it count. And now, he’s the first-ever AYW Television Champion!”

Backstage Segment

The camera opens on Jon Moxley, who stands in a dimly lit hallway, shifting with restless energy. Renee approaches, mic in hand.

Renee: “Jon, up next you face Roman Reigns for the AYW World Championship. Any last words before you head out?”

Moxley (grins slightly, barely containing his intensity): “I’m ready to tear him apart, Renee. That title’s coming home with me tonight.” He locks eyes with her for a moment, then turns and walks off purposefully.

The scene cuts to Roman Reigns in his dressing room, a confident calm in his expression. A trainer tapes up his wrists with precision as Roman flexes his fingers, mentally gearing up for the match. The AYW World Championship belt gleams beside him, and he glances at it briefly before refocusing, an aura of supremacy around him.

Michael Cole: “This is it, folks. We are moments away from what promises to be an unforgettable showdown!”

Nigel McGuinness: “The intensity in those two couldn’t be clearer. Moxley and Reigns… this is going to be brutal, lads. You can feel it in the air.”

Excalibur: “Two forces of nature going head-to-head—Reigns, the defending champion, and Moxley, unrelenting as ever. The stakes couldn’t be higher!”

The camera lingers on Reigns, his gaze steely, as he finishes his final preparations. It’s clear—this is going to be a clash of titans.

The cage lowers as the lights go down in the arena.
