AYW FURY EP 9: ROSTER REVEAL

All Your Wrestling By All Your Wrestling 17 Nov 2024 36 min read

AYW Fury begins with a massive pyro display, lighting up the arena with vibrant colors.

Commentary team Michael Cole, Excalibur, and Nigel McGuinness welcome the audience:

Michael Cole:
“Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to AYW Fury, and what a night we have for you! We’re hot off the heels of Rage in the Cage, a pay-per-view that shook the foundation of AYW to its very core! Malakai Black is your new AYW World Champion!”

Excalibur:
“Unbelievable chaos, brutal action, and shocking moments that we’ll be talking about for weeks—what a show it was!”

Nigel McGuinness:
“Rage in the Cage? I’m calling it Nigel’s Night of Greatness because every prediction I made was spot on. But tonight, we’re not just basking in the aftermath; we’re looking ahead! The official AYW roster reveal is happening tonight, and it’s going to change the game.”

Michael Cole:
“We’ll also hear from some of the stars who defined Rage in the Cage, including the first reactions from our champions. Plus, GM Christian Cage has promised major announcements regarding the next chapter of AYW.”

Excalibur:
“And we’ve got matches too! Fresh rivalries, shocking betrayals, and fallout from the pay-per-view will all be addressed. Don’t blink—tonight is going to be huge!”

Nigel McGuinness:
“And let’s not forget, folks, I’ll be here to give the best commentary this business has ever seen. You’re welcome.”

As the commentators continue to hype up the night, the theme song of Christian Cage hits, signaling the first major segment of the night.

Christian Cage’s music hits, and the crowd erupts into a chorus of boos. Christian confidently struts down to the ring, flanked by a fearsome entourage: Bronson Reed, new TV Champion Ricky Starks, and the entire House of Black, led by the sinister and newly crowned AYW World Champion Malakai Black. The group exudes dominance, with Bronson flexing his raw power, Ricky smirking while holding the TV Title high, and Malakai standing ominously at the center of the chaos.

Christian grabs a mic, smirking arrogantly as the crowd rains down jeers.

Christian Cage:
“Rage in the Cage wasn’t just a pay-per-view—it was a declaration. A declaration that no one in AYW, not even your so-called heroes, can stop what I’ve built. Look around me! This is power! This is dominance! And this? This is the future of wrestling.”

He points to each member of the group.

Christian Cage:
“Bronson Reed, the walking natural disaster, crushed dreams last night just like he’s done since day one. Ricky Starks, the brightest star in the business, now YOUR Television Champion. And Malakai Black… the man who proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that no one, not even Roman Reigns, is untouchable.”

The crowd boos loudly at the mention of the controversial finish to the Rage in the Cage main event. Malakai Black takes a step forward, raising the AYW World Championship high above his head, as Christian continues.

Christian Cage:
“This group is more than a stable. This is an unstoppable movement, a reckoning for anyone who dares step in our path. And trust me, nothing—and I mean NOTHING—will get in our way.”

Before Christian can continue, Jon Moxley’s music hits, and the arena explodes with deafening cheers. Moxley storms out onto the stage, looking fired up and ready to fight.

Jon Moxley:
“Unstoppable, huh? I see a group of guys clinging to Christian Cage’s coattails because they know they can’t do it on their own. That’s cute. Here’s the thing, Christian—I don’t care how many guys you’ve got. I’ve been through hell and back more times than I can count, and one by one, I’m going to rip this little empire of yours apart.”

The crowd roars in approval as Moxley marches down the ramp, staring down the five men in the ring. Christian smirks, knowing the numbers are on his side.

Christian Cage:
“Mox, you’ve always been great at talking a big game, but do you really think you can take on this group all by yourself? I mean, come on—be realistic. You’re outnumbered, outgunned, and outclassed.”

The lights dim, and suddenly Roman Reigns’ music hits. The arena erupts, and the “Head of the Table” makes his way to the ring, joining Moxley. Reigns, still seething from the controversial finish at Rage in the Cage, stands shoulder to shoulder with his old Shield brother.

The tension in the ring is palpable as the two sides stare each other down.

Christian Cage:
“Well, isn’t this adorable? The Shield reunion we never asked for. But guess what? You’re still outmatched. That’s why tonight’s main event will be Jon Moxley and Roman Reigns taking on Bronson Reed and the NEW Television Champion, Ricky Starks.”

The crowd pops for the announcement as Moxley and Reigns smirk.

Jon Moxley:
“Perfect. I get to start tearing this thing down brick by brick tonight. And Christian, you better hope I don’t get my hands on you, because when I do, I’ll make sure you never run your mouth again.”

Reigns and Moxley’s music hits as the two men stare down the heel stable in the ring. The crowd is electric, sensing a massive collision brewing later in the night.

Match 1: Samoa Joe vs. Colton Gunn

Match Setup:
As the commentators recap the epic events of Rage in the Cage, Samoa Joe’s music hits, and the crowd gives a mixed reaction. The towering Samoan Submission Machine storms to the ring, his demeanor icy and terrifying.

Michael Cole:
“Here comes Samoa Joe, a man who has to be fuming after his loss to Bronson Reed at Rage in the Cage. And judging by the look on his face, I don’t think anyone in their right mind would want to be standing across from him right now.”

Nigel McGuinness:
“Poor Colton Gunn. This lad’s about to become a statistic. Joe’s out here to send a message!”

Colton Gunn’s music hits, and the younger Gunn brother tries to psych himself up as he makes his way to the ring, attempting to keep a brave face.

Excalibur:
“Colton Gunn has heart, but sometimes heart alone isn’t enough. This might not end well for him.”

The Match:

  • Bell Rings:
Colton immediately tries to circle Joe, looking for an opening, but Joe charges him like a freight train, leveling him with a brutal shoulder tackle.
  • Joe drags Colton to his feet and unleashes a series of rapid-fire chops and punches in the corner. Colton crumples, gasping for air as Joe steps back, his expression unflinching.
  • The Samoan Submission Machine hoists Colton up and delivers a vicious Uranage, planting him hard on the mat.

Michael Cole:
“Samoa Joe isn’t just winning—he’s dominating. This is a man who has something to prove.”

Nigel McGuinness:
“This isn’t a wrestling match; this is a public execution! Somebody stop this before it gets ugly—oh, wait, too late!”

  • Joe pulls Colton up by the hair, screams in his face, and locks in the Coquina Clutch. Colton flails wildly, but within seconds, he’s out cold.

Result: Samoa Joe wins via submission in 1:48

Post-Match:

Joe stands over Colton’s unconscious body, his face stone-cold. He gestures for a mic, but instead of speaking, he simply throws it down, rolls out of the ring, and storms up the ramp.

Michael Cole:
“Message received loud and clear. Samoa Joe is not here to play games.”

Excalibur:
“Bronson Reed may have defeated him at Rage in the Cage, but Joe just showed that his path of destruction is far from over. Who’s next to step in the ring with this monster?”

Nigel McGuinness:
“Whoever it is, Excalibur, I hope they’ve updated their will.”

Joe’s music plays as he disappears backstage, leaving Colton Gunn still unconscious in the ring.

Backstage Segment: Rhea Ripley Enters the Building

The camera cuts to the backstage area, where Renee Paquette is standing by with a microphone.

Renee Paquette:
“Hello, everyone. We’re here backstage, and I’m hoping to get some reactions following the explosive events of Rage in the Cage. Joining me now—”

Suddenly, the doors to the arena slam open, and in storms Rhea Ripley, her expression thunderous. She’s dressed to fight, her leather jacket flaring as she storms past staff, her body language exuding barely contained rage.

Renee Paquette:
“Rhea! Rhea, can I get a word with you? Everyone’s wondering how you feel about the controversial events at Rage in the Cage involving Roman Reigns.”

Rhea pauses just long enough to glare at Renee, her piercing gaze enough to make the interviewer take a half-step back.

Rhea Ripley:
“How do I feel? I feel pissed. I’m pissed about what happened to Roman at the pay-per-view. That was a robbery, plain and simple, and I’m not letting it slide.”

Rhea adjusts her jacket, her expression unwavering.

Rhea Ripley:
“I’m going to deal with this… tonight.”

Without waiting for another question, Rhea brushes past Renee and storms down the hallway, leaving the backstage crew and Renee looking uneasy.

Renee Paquette:
“Well, there you have it, folks. Rhea Ripley has made her intentions crystal clear. It looks like we’re in for more fallout tonight.”

The camera cuts back to the arena, the crowd buzzing with anticipation over what Rhea has planned.

The camera cuts back to the commentary desk where Michael Cole, Excalibur, and Nigel McGuinness are seated. The crowd is still buzzing from Rhea Ripley’s backstage declaration.

Michael Cole:
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to AYW Fury, and what a night we’ve had already! We just saw a furious Rhea Ripley enter the building, and let me tell you—she is not happy about what went down at Rage in the Cage.”

Excalibur:
“And who can blame her, Cole? Roman Reigns lost in controversial fashion, and you have to wonder if Rhea plans to confront Malakai Black, Christian Cage, or perhaps the entire House of Black.”

Nigel McGuinness:
“Well, she’s furious, that’s for sure. But let’s not forget—Rhea Ripley isn’t exactly someone you’d want to be on the wrong side of. Whatever she’s planning, it’s bound to shake things up.”

Michael Cole:
“Speaking of shaking things up, later tonight, we’ll have something huge for all of you fans watching at home and here in the arena. The official AYW roster reveal is happening tonight!”

Excalibur:
“That’s right, Cole! For weeks, the speculation has been running wild. Who’s officially part of this groundbreaking promotion? Who will define the future of professional wrestling here in AYW?”

Nigel McGuinness:
“Let’s be honest—AYW already has the best roster in the world. But tonight, we’ll find out just how deep the talent pool goes. And I, for one, cannot wait.”

Michael Cole:
“It’s not just about the names, Nigel. It’s about the matchups, the rivalries, and the moments that are still to come. Stay tuned, everyone. The roster reveal is happening later tonight, and it’s going to blow the roof off this place!”

The commentary team continues hyping up the night as the show transitions to its next segment.

Match 2: Jey Uso vs. Matt Cardona

Match Setup:
The camera pans back to the arena as the ring announcer prepares for the next match.

Ring Announcer:
“The following contest is scheduled for one fall!”

The crowd erupts as Jey Uso’s music hits, signaling his AYW in-ring debut. Jey makes his way to the ring with a swagger, soaking in the energy from the fans.

Michael Cole:
“Here he is, ladies and gentlemen—Jey Uso! After weeks of anticipation, we finally get to see him in action here in AYW.”

Excalibur:
“Jey has been making waves since stepping out on his own, and tonight, he’s ready to prove he’s not just part of the bloodline legacy—he’s his own man.”

Nigel McGuinness:
“Well, let’s not forget his opponent. Matt Cardona is no pushover, and he’s been vocal about wanting to make a splash here in AYW. He’s got something to prove as well.”

Matt Cardona’s music hits, and the self-proclaimed “Internet Champion” makes his entrance, flexing his biceps and pointing to the crowd with confidence.

Excalibur:
“Cardona’s got years of experience and an arsenal of crafty tricks. Jey Uso can’t afford to underestimate him.”

The Match:

  • Bell Rings:
Jey and Cardona circle the ring, and Jey initiates a lockup. He quickly transitions to a side headlock, showcasing his technical prowess, but Cardona escapes, shoving Jey into the ropes and landing a quick shoulder block.
  • Cardona smirks and taunts the crowd, but Jey responds with a dropkick that sends him sprawling. Jey stays on the attack with a series of knife-edge chops in the corner, followed by a devastating samoan drop that gets the crowd fired up.

Michael Cole:
“Jey Uso is looking sharp in his debut! He’s wasting no time showing the AYW faithful what he’s all about.”

Nigel McGuinness:
“Cardona’s going to need more than his flashy attitude if he wants to stay in this match.”

  • Cardona uses a rake to the eyes to turn the tide and hits Jey with a neckbreaker for a near fall. He follows up with a missile dropkick, showing off his veteran instincts.
  • Cardona goes for his Radio Silence finisher, but Jey counters, tossing him into the corner and landing a superkick that rattles the arena.
  • With the crowd firmly behind him, Jey climbs to the top rope and delivers a breathtaking Uso Splash, pinning Cardona for the 1-2-3!

Result: Jey Uso wins via pinfall in 6:12

Post-Match:

Jey celebrates in the ring, looking fired up as the crowd chants, “U-SO! U-SO!” He climbs the turnbuckle, pounding his chest and shouting to the fans that he’s just getting started.

Michael Cole:
“What a debut for Jey Uso! This man has arrived, and he’s ready to take AYW by storm.”

Excalibur:
“He didn’t just win—he made a statement. Matt Cardona put up a fight, but Jey Uso is here to show he’s a top player in this company.”

Nigel McGuinness:
“I’ll give credit where it’s due—Jey Uso looks fantastic tonight. But let’s see if he can keep this momentum going.”

As Jey makes his way up the ramp, the camera cuts to a shot of Matt Cardona in the ring, looking frustrated and nursing his wounds.

In-Ring Segment: Kurt Angle Reveals the AYW Roster

Ring Announcer:
“Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for the official beginning of the AYW roster reveal!”

The crowd buzzes with anticipation as Kurt Angle’s iconic music hits, and the Olympic Gold Medalist walks onto the stage to a thunderous ovation. He’s dressed in a suit but has his signature intensity and energy, gesturing enthusiastically to the fans.

Michael Cole:
“Oh my! It’s Kurt Angle! What a surprise!”

Excalibur:
“Kurt Angle is here in AYW! What a monumental moment for this company!”

Nigel McGuinness:
“Well, I’ll tell you one person who won’t be happy about this—Christian Cage. And I can’t wait to see his reaction!”

Kurt enters the ring, grabs a microphone, and pauses as the crowd chants, “You suck!” in the traditional, affectionate way. He smiles and nods along, soaking in the love.

Kurt Angle:
“Thank you, thank you! It’s great to know some things never change. Now, let’s get right to business, shall we?”

The crowd cheers, and Kurt’s expression turns more serious.

Kurt Angle:
“I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I’ve been hired as the co-General Manager of AYW!”

The fans explode in cheers, but Kurt raises a hand to calm them.

Kurt Angle:
“Now, before you ask—don’t ask me who my boss is, because, quite frankly, I don’t know! But what I do know is that I am here to make this company the best in the world, and that starts tonight with the official AYW roster reveal!”

The fans cheer again as Kurt paces the ring, his energy infectious.

Kurt Angle:
“Now, I’m not going to waste time. Let’s get to it! Here are some of the incredible talents you can expect to see on the AYW roster: Your current champions—Malakai Black, Ricky Starks, The Acclaimed, and Rhea Ripley!

“Joining them are the other members of the House of Black—Brody King and Buddy Matthews! We’ve also got the unstoppable Bronson Reed, the dangerous Samoa Joe, the monster Braun Strowman, and the unrelenting Jon Moxley.”

Michael Cole:
“This roster is already stacked, but Kurt’s just getting started!”

Kurt Angle:
“We’re also proud to have Roman Reigns, the fearless Darby Allin, the American Nightmare himself, Cody Rhodes, and the tag team greatness of FTR, Young Bucks, Street Profits, and Authors of Pain!

The crowd is on fire as Kurt continues listing names.

Kurt Angle:
“Let’s not forget the technical genius Chad Gable, the legend Bryan Danielson, the electrifying Matt Cardona, and of course, the future of wrestling—Jey Uso, Top Flight, Komander, and Lio Rush!

Excalibur:
“This roster is absolutely insane! AYW is setting a new standard for professional wrestling.”

Kurt Angle:
“And we’re not done yet. Representing the women’s division, we’ve got stars like Britt Baker, Toni Storm, Willow Nightingale, Skye Blue, and Hikaru Shida!

The crowd roars, but Kurt raises his voice for the big announcement.

Kurt Angle:
“But I’m not done yet! I’ve got three more names to announce right now—names that will make waves in AYW. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish, and Adam Cole!

The arena explodes as the familiar music of Adam Cole hits, and the trio makes their way to the stage, soaking in the moment. Cole, O’Reilly, and Fish stand together, flashing their signature poses to a deafening “Adam Cole, Bay Bay!” chant.

Michael Cole:
“Adam Cole! Kyle O’Reilly! Bobby Fish! The Undisputed Era—or whatever they’re going to call themselves now—is here in AYW!”

Excalibur:
“This is a seismic shift in professional wrestling. Kurt Angle has just revealed a roster that’s going to dominate this industry!”

Nigel McGuinness:
“And with Adam Cole and his boys joining the ranks, Christian Cage and his so-called unstoppable stable might not have as smooth a ride as they think!”

Kurt Angle:
“Stay tuned, everyone, because the roster reveal isn’t over yet! We’ve got more names to announce later tonight. Oh, it’s true. It’s damn true!”

Kurt’s music hits as the fans continue to cheer, and the camera pans to the commentary team, who are buzzing with excitement.

Backstage Segment: Mystery Arrival

The camera cuts backstage, where a sleek, black limo slowly pulls up into the parking lot. The engine idles for a moment before the driver steps out and opens the back door.

Excalibur:
“Wait a minute… who’s this? Who just arrived at the arena?”

The camera angle intentionally keeps the identity of the passenger a mystery. The crowd buzzes in anticipation as the camera catches only a brief shot of a pair of expensive shoes stepping out of the limo.

Michael Cole:
“Someone’s here, but we can’t see who! Could this be tied to the roster reveal? Or maybe someone with a score to settle from Rage in the Cage?”

Nigel McGuinness:
“This has all the hallmarks of a big name, gentlemen. Whoever this is, they’ve arrived in style, and they clearly want to make an impact tonight.”

The camera lingers on the open limo door for a moment before fading to black, leaving the commentary team to speculate.

Excalibur:
“Whoever it is, we’ll find out soon enough. Don’t go anywhere, folks!”

Michael Cole:
“The night just keeps getting more unpredictable. First Kurt Angle, now this mystery arrival—what else does AYW have in store for us tonight?”

Match 3: Britt Baker vs. Skye Blue

Match Overview:

  • Britt Baker enters first, her confidence on full display as she arrogantly dismisses the crowd’s mixed reaction.
  • Skye Blue follows, showcasing her youthful energy and determination, but she looks cautious as she steps into the ring with the more experienced Baker.

The Bell Rings:
Britt dominates much of the match, using her technical expertise and underhanded tactics to keep Skye grounded. Skye manages a brief flurry of offense, hitting a series of quick arm drags and a springboard dropkick that momentarily stuns Britt. However, Baker quickly regains control by targeting Skye’s arm, softening her up for the Lockjaw.

After taunting the crowd, Britt locks in the submission, forcing Skye to tap out.

Winner: Britt Baker via submission (5:30)

Post-Match Promo:
As Britt’s music plays, she grabs a microphone from the timekeeper’s area, standing triumphantly over the fallen Skye Blue.

Britt Baker:
“Cut my music! Everyone in this building knows exactly who I am—D.M.D.—and what I’m here for!”

The crowd gives a mixed reaction, with a loud “D.M.D.!” chant sprinkled with boos.

Britt Baker:
“Let me remind you all: I am the best damn wrestler in this entire company. I just proved it again tonight, and I’m not stopping until I get what I deserve.”

She glares directly at the camera.

Britt Baker:
“Rhea Ripley, you’re walking around here with my AYW Women’s World Championship. Well, consider this your official challenge. Day of Reckoning—you and me for the title!

The crowd pops at the bold challenge, but there’s no response. Britt smirks, shaking her head mockingly.

Britt Baker:
“Oh, what’s wrong, Rhea? Are you scared? Afraid to face a real champion? That’s fine—take your time. But sooner or later, you’ll have to step into this ring with me, and when you do, your little reign will be over.”

She drops the mic and poses in the ring, signaling a championship belt around her waist as her music hits again.

Michael Cole:
“Well, Britt Baker is wasting no time declaring her intentions!”

Excalibur:
“She wants Rhea Ripley, and she wants her at Day of Reckoning. But will Rhea accept?”

Nigel McGuinness:
“If I were Rhea, I’d think twice before stepping in the ring with someone as calculating and dangerous as Britt Baker.”

Match 4: Authors of Pain vs. Top Flight

Match Overview:
The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) make their entrance first, with an air of menace as they tower over everyone at ringside. Their imposing size and power are emphasized by the commentators.

Excalibur:
“Here come the Authors of Pain, two of the most destructive forces in tag team wrestling.”

Michael Cole:
“This is a huge opportunity for Top Flight, but you have to wonder if their speed can overcome the sheer power of AOP.”

Top Flight’s Darius and Dante Martin enter next, full of energy, clearly aware of the challenge ahead. The crowd cheers for the high-flying underdogs as they hype themselves up before stepping into the ring.

The Bell Rings:
The match begins with Dante trying to use his speed to outmaneuver Akam, darting around the ring and landing quick strikes. He manages to hit a springboard dropkick, which staggers Akam but doesn’t take him down.

Nigel McGuinness:
“Smart strategy from Dante Martin, but can he keep this up against a wall like Akam?”

Akam catches Dante mid-air on his next attempt and slams him down with a thunderous spinebuster, immediately shifting the momentum in AOP’s favor. From there, it’s a showcase of brute strength as AOP isolates Dante, cutting off the ring and punishing him with power moves.

Darius finally gets the hot tag, exploding into the ring with a flurry of kicks and a missile dropkick that briefly knocks Rezar off his feet. However, AOP’s teamwork proves too much, as they catch Darius mid-dive and hit a brutal Super Collider (double powerbombs followed by a collision).

AOP finishes things with their signature move, The Last Chapter, on Darius for the decisive pinfall.

Winners: Authors of Pain via pinfall (7:15)

Post-Match:
The Authors of Pain stand tall in the ring, their hands raised in victory as Top Flight lay battered on the mat.

Michael Cole:
“An absolutely dominant performance by the Authors of Pain. These two might be unstoppable in AYW’s tag team division!”

Excalibur:
“Top Flight gave it their all, but the power and ruthlessness of AOP were just too much to overcome tonight.”

Nigel McGuinness:
“The rest of the tag division better take note—AOP are sending a clear message to everyone in AYW.”

The scene fades out as AOP exit the ring, leaving Top Flight struggling to recover.

Backstage Segment: Christian Cage in His Office

The camera cuts backstage to Christian Cage’s office. The door slams open as Christian walks in, still visibly enraged. The reflection of Kurt Angle’s earlier announcement is clear in his eyes.

Christian Cage (shouting):
Kurt Angle? Co-GM?! What the hell is this? What kind of joke is this?! And he doesn’t even know who his boss is?!”

Christian slams his hands down on his desk, the force shaking a few papers loose. His face is red with frustration as he leans forward, speaking through clenched teeth.

Christian Cage (mocking):
“’Oh, I’m so happy to be here!’ What a joke. No, Kurt, you’re not just here for a ‘feel-good moment.’ You’re here to take my spotlight, and I’ll be damned if I let that happen.”

Christian pauses, breathing heavily, trying to regain his composure.

Christian Cage (gritting his teeth):
“I built this company into what it is today, and now I’ve got Kurt Angle coming in and trying to steal my thunder, trying to undermine me. I don’t know who the hell hired him, but I’ll make sure they regret it.”

Christian sits down in his chair, leaning back with an air of cold rage.

Christian Cage:
“I’ve had enough of this. If Angle wants to play the nice guy, fine. But I don’t play nice. And if he’s going to stand in my way, he’s going to find out just how far I’ll go to remind everyone who’s really in charge around here.”

Christian looks straight into the camera, his expression a mix of fury and determination.

Christian Cage:
“Angle can have his little feel-good moment, but mark my words—he’ll regret it. I’ll deal with him, and I’ll deal with anyone who stands in my way.”

He smirks to himself, clearly plotting something.

Christian Cage:
“Now, time to make things right.”

The camera lingers on Christian’s tense expression for a moment before cutting to the next segment.

Match 5: Willow Nightingale vs. Hikaru Shida

Match Overview:
Both women make their entrances, with Willow Nightingale bringing her signature positive energy to the ring, while Hikaru Shida enters with a more serious and focused demeanor. The crowd cheers for both women, excited for this hard-hitting match-up.

Excalibur:
“We’ve got an exciting one here tonight, folks. Willow Nightingale and Hikaru Shida have been at the top of the AYW women’s division, and tonight, one of them is going to make a big statement!”

Michael Cole:
“Willow’s strength and energy make her a tough opponent, but Shida’s experience and technical skills could be the key to victory tonight.”

The Bell Rings:
The match starts with a lock-up, where Willow uses her strength advantage to push Shida into the corner. Shida quickly escapes, evading Willow’s grasp and landing a stiff kick to Willow’s midsection. Shida follows up with a series of crisp strikes, including a knee to the face that knocks Willow back.

Willow fights back with her powerful slams and strikes, using her momentum to hit a scoop slam followed by a running senton for a near fall. The crowd rallies behind her as she looks to build momentum.

Nigel McGuinness:
“Willow’s strength is unmatched, but Shida is quick to recover and is a master at finding the smallest opening.”

Shida creates some distance, then charges at Willow with a running knee strike to the face. She keeps up the pressure with a vertical suplex, flipping Willow over with ease. Shida continues to wear Willow down, locking in a reverse Boston crab that forces Nightingale to crawl towards the ropes. Willow manages to grab the bottom rope, but the damage is done.

The match turns into a back-and-forth contest, with both women hitting big moves. Willow lifts Shida for a Powerbomb, but Shida counters into a Hurricanrana, sending Willow into the corner.

Willow recovers and hits a powerful backbreaker, but Shida rolls to the outside, avoiding the pinfall. As Willow turns to the ropes, Shida pulls her off the apron and slams her back-first onto the hard floor.

Michael Cole:
“Both women are giving it their all here tonight. Willow’s resilience is incredible, but Shida’s experience is showing through in this brutal exchange.”

Back in the ring, Shida hits her Falcon Arrow, but Willow kicks out at two. The intensity builds as the crowd gets louder, rallying behind both competitors.

Finally, Willow hits a Disaster Kick out of nowhere, stunning Shida long enough to hit a Samoan Drop for a near fall. The crowd is on fire as Willow lifts Shida up for her signature Night-Night Slam (a modified spinebuster), and this time, she gets the three-count.

Winner: Willow Nightingale via pinfall (10:30)

Post-Match:
Willow’s hand is raised in victory as the crowd cheers for her. She stands tall, victorious, but Shida isn’t far behind, nodding in respect despite the loss. Willow helps Shida up, and the two exchange a handshake before Willow celebrates her win.

Excalibur:
“An amazing back-and-forth battle between these two women! Willow Nightingale picks up a huge victory here tonight!”

Michael Cole:
“After the battle they’ve just had, I’m sure both of these women are looking ahead to the next challenge—whether that be a title opportunity or continuing to climb the rankings.”

Nigel McGuinness:
“I think we’re witnessing the rise of a major player in this division with Willow Nightingale. She’s got the strength, the resilience, and the heart to go far in AYW.”

Segment: Kurt Angle Reveals More of the AYW Roster

Backstage Promo/Live Feed to the Ramp

The camera cuts back to the ramp, where Kurt Angle’s music hits, and he strides confidently out onto the stage with a big smile on his face. The crowd roars as Kurt raises his arms in his signature “You Suck!” pose, getting a mixed response as usual.

Kurt Angle (grinning into the mic):
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m back and it’s time for more exciting announcements as we continue the AYW roster reveal. So far, we’ve seen some of the biggest stars in the world, but we’re just getting started!”

The crowd cheers, eagerly awaiting the next big names.

Kurt Angle (excitedly):
“And now, it’s time for the next batch of stars to join the roster. Let’s get to it!”

Kurt Angle (grinning):
“We’ve got the high-flying Kofi Kingston, ‘the chairman’ Shawn Spears, the incredible Kyle Fletcher, and the tag team legends DIY—Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa! We’ve also got the unstoppable Athena, the rising star Iyo Sky, and finally… one of the most legendary names in the history of professional wrestling… Randy Orton!

As Kurt Angle announces Randy Orton, the crowd erupts in shock and excitement. The familiar Voices theme song hits, and the AYW universe explodes as Randy Orton walks out onto the ramp with his signature slow, deliberate movements. He soaks in the crowd’s reaction, holding his arms out in classic Orton fashion. The fans chant his name as he raises his eyebrows, looking at the crowd with a cold stare.

Excalibur:
“Randy Orton is here in AYW! This is a HUGE moment, folks! The Viper has arrived!”

Michael Cole:
“What a game-changer this is for AYW! You don’t get much more iconic than Randy Orton, and now he’s here to mix it up with the best in the world!”

Just as Orton reaches the top of the ramp, the atmosphere suddenly shifts. The music cuts, and the crowd turns to see Konosuke Takeshita sprinting out from behind the curtain. He charges at Orton with an intense look on his face, blindsiding him with a massive lariat that knocks Orton off his feet!

Nigel McGuinness (shocked):
“What the hell?! Who is this guy?!”

Excalibur:
“That’s Konosuke Takeshita! A brutal and dangerous newcomer, making his presence known here in AYW, and he’s targeting Randy Orton right off the bat!”

Takeshita continues the assault, lifting Orton up and planting him with a German Suplex on the steel ramp! The crowd is stunned, with a mix of boos and excitement for the unannounced debut. Takeshita then takes Orton’s arm, twisting it around, and applies a brutal Kimura Lock on the ramp, wrenching the hold as Orton grimaces in pain.

Michael Cole:
“Konosuke Takeshita has just attacked Randy Orton in one of the most vicious debuts we’ve seen in AYW! What a statement!”

As Takeshita holds the lock in for a few more seconds, he finally releases it, looking down at Orton with a smirk before walking away, leaving Orton writhing in pain on the ramp. The crowd reacts with a mix of confusion and excitement over the unexpected turn of events.

Excalibur:
“What a shocking debut! Konosuke Takeshita has just laid waste to one of the most dangerous men in AYW history—Randy Orton. The Viper has just been taken out on his first night!”

Michael Cole:
“Takeshita has made his mark, but Randy Orton is no slouch. I’m sure he’ll be back with a vengeance. What a way to kick off the debut of one of the most feared men in wrestling today.”

Post-Segment:
The camera cuts away from the ramp as medical personnel rush to Orton’s side, checking on him while Takeshita makes his way backstage, his eyes burning with intensity. Kurt Angle looks on from the stage, still holding the mic.

Kurt Angle (calmly, to the crowd):
“Looks like we’ve got a new player in town. But rest assured, there’s much more to come. Stay tuned for more big announcements, and let’s get this show back on track!”

The crowd is buzzing as the show moves on to the next match.

Backstage Segment: Chad Gable Interview

Camera fades backstage to Renee Paquette standing with a microphone in her hand. She’s standing next to Chad Gable, who looks visibly frustrated, his eyes burning with determination. Renee starts speaking into the mic.

Renee Paquette:
“Chad, earlier tonight we heard the announcement that Bryan Danielson is officially signed to AYW. You’ve been very vocal about your issues with Danielson, and tonight, we’re hearing that you have a challenge to make. What can you tell us?”

Chad Gable (looking serious, voice steady but intense):
“Bryan Danielson… you think you’re the best? You think you can just sneak attack me, blindside me, and that’s it? That’s how it’s gonna be? I’ve been in this business long enough to know that if you want to claim the title of the best, you need to beat every challenge in front of you.

Renee Paquette:
“So you’re saying this isn’t over between the two of you?”

Chad Gable (shaking his head):
“Oh, it’s far from over. And let me make something clear—I don’t need any help from anyone to prove myself. I’ll face Bryan Danielson 1-on-1 at Day of Reckoning, and I’ll do it on MY terms. But here’s the twist: I want his career on the line.”

Renee Paquette (surprised):
“Wait, you’re saying you want Bryan Danielson’s career to be on the line in this match?”

Chad Gable (nodding firmly):
“Exactly. Danielson likes to think he’s untouchable, like he’s earned some kind of immunity. But no one is above the rules, no one is above consequences. I’m tired of his disrespect, and I want him to face what happens when he picks a fight with someone who’s just as hungry as he is—someone who has more to prove. So, Bryan… at Day of Reckoning, you and I will go toe-to-toe, and if I win, you’re done in AYW.

You’ll be out. No more opportunities, no more matches—nothing. This is your chance to prove if you really have what it takes to keep up, but this time, you’re putting EVERYTHING on the line.”

Renee Paquette (pauses, then looks at Chad):
“This is a huge challenge, Chad. You’ve made your intentions clear. We’ll see if Danielson accepts. But it looks like this rivalry is just getting started. Back to you guys!”

Camera fades as Chad Gable walks off, the intensity in his eyes undiminished.

Promo Video: Darby Allin

The screen flickers to black. A low, haunting sound echoes through the arena before the image of Darby Allin appears on the screen, standing in front of a graffiti-covered wall, his face partially obscured by his trademark makeup. The eerie silence is broken by Darby’s voice, calm and steady, but filled with a quiet intensity.

Darby Allin (voice-over):
“I’ve been through a lot of battles… some I’ve won, some I’ve lost. But every time I step back into that ring, it’s not just the pain from the hits that I have to face—it’s the ghosts from my past. Every loss, every mistake, every failure—it all comes back, and it weighs me down. I let it… because that’s the cost of what we do.”

The camera zooms in slightly, capturing Darby’s dark eyes. His posture remains tense but unwavering.

Darby Allin:
“At Rage in the Cage, Ricky Starks beat me fair and square. There’s no excuses. I didn’t take the easy way out. I didn’t look for a way to avoid the pain. I took my beating like a man. I faced my demons in that ring, but the truth is, that was only the start. That match was just a chapter… not the end of my story.”

Darby’s expression hardens, a hint of determination in his voice now.

Darby Allin:
“And Ricky… you might’ve won that night, but you didn’t break me. You didn’t beat me down enough to stop me from coming back. I’m not finished with you. Not by a long shot.”

The camera cuts to a quick montage of Darby in past matches—taking insane risks, flying through the air, battling against much larger opponents. It flashes by rapidly before returning to Darby standing in the same spot, his face now focused with a burning desire.

Darby Allin:
“I’ve faced my demons, Ricky, and now I’m asking you to face yours. At Day of Reckoning, I want a shot at your TV Title. You’ve got what I want, and I’m coming for it. This isn’t just about a title—this is about proving that I’m still Darby Allin. This is about showing that no matter how many times you knock me down, I will always get back up.”

The camera zooms in further, capturing the raw intensity of Darby’s words as he glares directly into the lens.

Darby Allin:
“So Ricky Starks, consider yourself on notice. At Day of Reckoning, it’s just you and me, one-on-one. And this time, I’m walking out with your title.”

The screen cuts to black, and the familiar sound of Darby’s skateboard can be heard as the logo for Day of Reckoning flashes across the screen, accompanied by the date of the event.

Main Event: Roman Reigns & Jon Moxley vs. Bronson Reed & Ricky Starks

Michael Cole:
“Folks, this is going to be a huge matchup! Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley, two of the most dominant forces in AYW, teaming up to take on the powerhouse Bronson Reed and the TV Champion Ricky Starks. What a collision this is going to be!”

Excalibur:
“Absolutely, Cole. There’s so much tension here. Moxley’s been on a warpath ever since Rage in the Cage, and tonight he’s going to look to make a statement. But Bronson Reed and Ricky Starks—two men who aren’t afraid to dish out punishment—this could get brutal.”

Nigel McGuinness:
“Let’s not forget the stakes here—Christian Cage and his unstoppable stable looming in the background. If things go sideways for Reigns and Moxley, the numbers game could be the deciding factor.”

The match begins with Moxley and Starks in the ring. Moxley charges at Starks, taking him down with a brutal clothesline, the crowd roaring in approval. Moxley follows up with elbows, and Starks rolls out of the ring, quickly tagging in Bronson Reed.

Michael Cole:
“Moxley starting strong, but here comes the big man—Bronson Reed, the powerhouse!”

Reed charges at Moxley with a shoulder block, nearly sending him across the ring. Moxley gets back to his feet, but Reed’s sheer size and strength dominate him. Reigns looks on, waiting for his opportunity. He tags in and locks up with Reed, the two men exchanging powerful strikes in the middle of the ring. The crowd is split, each side getting behind their respective stars.”

Excalibur:
“Roman Reigns, the Tribal Chief, back in action after a brutal bout at Rage in the Cage, but Bronson Reed is not backing down. This is what it’s all about—two titans clashing for supremacy!”

Nigel McGuinness:
“Roman Reigns has the edge in experience, but Reed’s just a different animal. It’s going to take more than a few strikes to take him down.”

The action is fast and furious. Reigns hits a Superman punch, but Reed shrugs it off and tags in Starks. The TV Champion enters the ring and immediately goes for a quick pin attempt on Reigns, but only gets a two-count. Moxley is back on the apron, urging Reigns to tag him in.

Michael Cole:
“Starks with the near fall! If anyone can keep Reigns on the back foot, it’s Ricky Starks.”

Excalibur:
“Moxley desperately needs to get in the ring, but Starks is keeping Reigns occupied.”

Nigel McGuinness:
“Great teamwork by Reed and Starks, cutting off the ring and isolating Reigns. That’s the kind of tag team strategy that wins matches.”

Just as the match reaches its peak, things take a dramatic turn. Reigns and Starks are tangled up in the corner when the referee gets accidentally knocked down during a collision. The crowd roars in confusion, and that’s when the chaos begins.

Excalibur:
“Referee’s down! This is getting out of hand!”

Michael Cole:
“Oh no, what’s happening now? This match could descend into absolute mayhem!”

The House of Black’s theme hits, and the crowd erupts in boos as Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews, and Brody King storm down to the ring. They immediately begin to attack Moxley and Reigns, decimating them with a brutal series of strikes and kicks. The audience is in an uproar as Black and his followers take control.

Nigel McGuinness:
“Look at this! The House of Black is here! And they’re laying waste to Moxley and Reigns—this is carnage!”

Excalibur:
“Christian Cage’s influence is clearly being felt tonight. The numbers game is on full display!”

Just when it seems like things are about to spiral completely out of control, Cody Rhodes makes his dramatic return, running down to the ring and charging at the House of Black. He takes down Matthews with a big clothesline and fights off Brody King, sending the House of Black retreating up the ramp. The crowd goes wild as Cody stands tall in the ring, the odds evened up.

Michael Cole:
“Wait a minute! That’s Cody Rhodes!! The American Nightmare is back, and he’s saving Moxley and Reigns from a complete destruction at the hands of the House of Black!”

Excalibur:
“This just got personal, Cole. Cody Rhodes wants payback, and he’s standing his ground tonight. This crowd is electric!”

As the House of Black retreats, the action in the ring continues. Reigns goes for a Superman Punch on Starks, but just as it looks like he’s about to hit his finisher, Rhea Ripley appears at the top of the ramp. She charges down, slides into the ring, and delivers a vicious low blow to Reigns, right as he’s about to execute the move. The crowd reacts in shock and fury.

Michael Cole:
“Rhea Ripley! What the hell is she doing here?! Roman Reigns had it won!”

Nigel McGuinness:
“Rhea Ripley making her mark—right at the most critical moment!”

Excalibur:
“And just like that, the tide has turned! Reigns is down, and now Bronson Reed has the perfect opportunity!”

With Reigns stunned, Bronson Reed grabs him and hits a devastating Tsunami splash. He goes for the pin as the referee regains consciousness and counts the fall.

Michael Cole (shocked):
“That’s it! Bronson Reed pins Roman Reigns!!”

Excalibur (in disbelief):
“What a turn of events! Rhea Ripley’s interference changes the course of this match!”

Nigel McGuinness:
“This stable is unstoppable, folks. Christian Cage, Bronson Reed, Ricky Starks, and the House of Black—what a night!”

Christian Cage and Rhea Ripley stand at the top of the ramp, smirking at the destruction they’ve caused. They exchange a brief look of satisfaction as they back away, disappearing into the shadows. The camera cuts to the fallen bodies of Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley in the ring, with the House of Black still lurking.

Michael Cole:
“This is far from over. The landscape of AYW has been irrevocably changed tonight.”

Excalibur:
“Christian Cage’s stable is asserting dominance, but what does this mean for the future of AYW? Moxley, Reigns, and Cody Rhodes have their work cut out for them. Day of Reckoning is shaping up to be a war.”
