Biography
Jacy Jayne is the WWE Women's United States Champion and the ringleader of Fatal Influence, one of SmackDown's most entertaining heel groups. It has been a long climb. Once seen mainly as a supporting player in other people's stables, Jayne spent 2025 as the centre of NXT's women's division and has carried that momentum straight onto the main roster.
Born Taylor Grado, she began training in 2017 at the World Wrestling Academy in Florida under Jay Lethal and Matt Sydal. She debuted in 2018 as Avery Taylor and worked around the Florida independent scene, including Shine, Evolve and FIP, before signing a WWE developmental contract in early 2021.
She arrived on NXT as Jacy Jayne in July 2021 and was soon part of Toxic Attraction alongside Mandy Rose and Gigi Dolin. Jayne and Dolin won the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship at Halloween Havoc that October and later held it a second time, while the trio dominated the brand. When the group fell apart, Jayne turned on Dolin in early 2023, and the feud ended with a weaponised steel cage match that May. A babyface stint with Chase University followed, but Jayne found her true footing back on the dark side in 2024, forming Fatal Influence with Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx.
The group gave her a platform and she made the most of it. On 27 May 2025 she beat Stephanie Vaquer to win the NXT Women's Championship, and at TNA Slammiversary that July she beat Masha Slamovich in a title-versus-title match to become a double champion. Ash by Elegance took the Knockouts title a month later, and Tatum Paxley ended her NXT reign at Halloween Havoc, but Jayne won the NXT title back from Paxley at Gold Rush in November, becoming a two-time champion. After Nyx was expelled, Lainey Reid joined the group.
Jayne made her Royal Rumble debut in January 2026 and held the NXT title until Lola Vice beat her at Stand & Deliver. Fatal Influence then moved to SmackDown in April, and the call-up has paid off quickly. Henley and Reid won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship in July, and on 14 August Jayne beat Tiffany Stratton for the Women's United States Championship, her first main roster title. She came up short in the Money in the Bank ladder match in October but remains champion as autumn 2026 rolls on.
