Opening Segment: Cody Rhodes & Ricky Saints

The show opened with Cody Rhodes making his way to the ring. He told the Tulsa crowd he had some new information — earlier in the evening he had met with the medical staff and Nick Aldis, and he is now medically cleared for action. Before he could continue, Ricky Saints interrupted, telling the crowd they boo what they don’t understand, and formally introducing himself. Saints told Cody that those multiple title reigns have aged him 30 years, and that he is here to relieve Rhodes of his duties. Cody responded by offering Saints a match right then and there — Saints accepted.

Jacy Jayne (w/ Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) vs. Charlotte Flair (w/ Alexa Bliss)

Before the bell, Jacy took the mic and said Fatal Influence were going to take out everyone’s “precious little legends” one at a time — and who better to start with than Charlotte Flair? The match quickly turned into a hard-hitting affair, with Flair delivering her signature chops and Jayne answering with a devastating knee strike. Flair locked in the Figure Eight, but Fallon Henley knocked her arms loose to break it up, leading to a match-ending Rolling Encore.

Winner: Jacy Jayne via pinfall

Danhausen Segment

Kit Wilson and The Miz plotted to capture Danhausen — but before they could get far, Danhausen spotted their briefcase full of money, quietly helped himself to $40,000, and walked off without either man noticing. Miz then opened the briefcase to check it — and it sprayed both Miz and Kit in the face. Later, The Miz entered the ring and appeared to apologise to Danhausen, claiming he admitted he was cursed. It was all a ruse — Miz and Kit Wilson beat Danhausen down, finally getting their revenge.

Wepa Up (Damian Priest & R-Truth) (c) vs. Fraxiom (Axiom & Nathan Frazer) — WWE Tag Team Championship

Priest and Killings won by pinfall after Priest hit the Razor’s Edge on Axiom, retaining the WWE Men’s Tag Team Championship. Post-match, Talla Tonga hit the ring and threw Killings into the post before delivering double chokeslams to Fraxiom and then a chokeslam to Priest right onto the title belt. Solo Sikoa stood tall over all four men.

Winners and STILL WWE Tag Team Champions: Wepa Up

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Brie Bella & Paige (c) vs. The Irresistible Forces (Lash Legend & Nia Jax)

Brie Bella and Paige retained the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship over The Irresistible Forces by pinfall.

Royce Keys vs. Angel

The 2026 Andre the Giant Battle Royal winner Royce Keys took on Angel, the tag team partner of the man he defeated in his debut. Keys won by pinfall. Post-match, the MFTs blindsided Keys, and Talla Tonga then slammed Jacob Fatu through a table.

Winner: Royce Keys via pinfall

Sami Zayn Promo

Zayn came out and said he doesn’t know what he’s done to get the reactions he gets lately, but it doesn’t bother him because his ride-or-die fanclub was in the house. He drew a comparison between himself and Bob Dylan — a folk legend who picked up an electric guitar and got booed for it.

Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Ricky Saints — Undisputed WWE Championship

Rhodes had only recently been medically cleared following a brutal post-WrestleMania attack by Randy Orton, and he struggled early as Saints capitalised, even hitting his own version of Old School on the top rope as well as a Revolution DDT. Rhodes fought his way back, and with one mistake from Saints, he hit the Cross Rhodes for the win, spoiling Saints’ SmackDown debut. In a shocking moment after the match, Gunther entered the ring and assaulted the champion, leaving him down and out.

Winner and STILL Undisputed WWE Champion: Cody Rhodes via pinfall

Main Event Segment: Jacob Fatu, The Usos, Solo Sikoa & Talla Tonga

Solo Sikoa took to the mic and said Jacob Fatu made a big mistake last week — even though Fatu took out his army, he took out Talla Tonga’s family, and Tonga’s family is his family. The Usos hit the ring. Jimmy told Solo that they get it — he has an issue with Jacob — but the Roman Reigns situation is more important. Solo told Talla Tonga to beat them both down. Jacob Fatu then ran in and destroyed Talla Tonga and Solo Sikoa.

Key Announcements

With WWE Backlash 2026 eight days away in Tampa, the show set the stage significantly — Gunther’s attack on Cody Rhodes and the escalating Fatu/Bloodline tension were the headline developments heading into the premium live event.
