Biography
Jordynne Grace is one of the strongest women in wrestling, in every sense. The Texan powerlifter became the defining Knockout of TNA's modern era, winning the Knockouts World Championship three times and becoming the company's first Knockouts Triple Crown winner, before signing with WWE in 2025. In autumn 2026 she is a member of the SmackDown roster, though she has been largely absent from television since the spring.
Grace debuted in September 2012 and spent six years building a reputation on the independent scene, often against men as much as women. She held titles in promotions including Progress Wrestling, formed the hard-hitting tag team Team PAWG with LuFisto, and was the only woman in the battle royal at the first All In in 2018, where she eliminated Brian Cage. Impact Wrestling signed her that October.
Her Impact years were a steady climb. She ended Taya Valkyrie's long reign to win her first Knockouts Championship in early 2020, lost it to Deonna Purrazzo at Slammiversary and pushed Purrazzo all the way in the first Knockouts iron man match. In 2021 she won the Knockouts Tag Team Championship with Rachael Ellering, then won the tournament to become the first Digital Media Champion at Bound for Glory, completing the first Knockouts Triple Crown. She took the Knockouts title back in the inaugural Queen of the Mountain match at Slammiversary 2022 and held it for 208 days, including a celebrated Bound for Glory win over Masha Slamovich.
After a brief break in 2023, Grace came back to beat Purrazzo, then became the first woman to win the Call Your Shot Gauntlet, beating Bully Ray in the final. She used the prize to defeat Trinity for a third Knockouts title at Hard To Kill in January 2024, the first show under the revived TNA name, and weeks later made a surprise entry in WWE's Royal Rumble as the reigning champion. That year she also appeared in NXT as part of the TNA partnership. She finally lost the title to Slamovich at Bound for Glory in October 2024 after 287 days, in a match TNA named its Match of the Year.
Grace left TNA in January 2025, signed with WWE and entered the Royal Rumble days later. In NXT she challenged Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT Women's Championship at Stand & Deliver and Battleground, then was betrayed by Blake Monroe at Evolution before beating her in a weaponised steel cage at No Mercy. She joined SmackDown in January 2026 and challenged Jade Cargill for the WWE Women's Championship in February, but an ankle injury cost her several weeks. She returned in April and lost a number one contender's match to Tiffany Stratton, and since then has been used sparingly. Reports in September suggested WWE was planning something different for her, so a fresh start may not be far away.
