Tonight, WWE brings us the 39th edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event (SNME). This event is live from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.
With a stacked card featuring title matches, grudge bouts, and potential surprises, this event promises to be a thrilling ride on the road to Money in the Bank.

1. World Heavyweight Championship: Jey Uso (c) vs. Logan Paul

1. Jey Uso (c) vs. Logan Paul – World Heavyweight Championship
Jey Uso defends his title against Logan Paul in what promises to be a high-octane showdown. Since capturing the championship at WrestleMania 41, Uso has been on a dominant run. Paul, known for his athleticism and surprise victories, aims to dethrone the champ.
Prediction: Jey Uso retains. While Paul is a formidable challenger, it’s unlikely WWE will end Uso’s reign so soon after WrestleMania. Also, if Logan Paul ever becomes the top champ then I will riot! Hopefully WWE doesn’t take all of the booing as ‘oh, he’s getting a reaction, he’s over, let’s give him the belt.’
2. CM Punk & Sami Zayn vs. Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker
This tag team clash stems from the fallout of WrestleMania, where Paul Heyman betrayed Punk to align with Rollins and Breakker. The newly formed alliance looks to assert dominance, while Punk and Zayn seek retribution.
Prediction: Rollins & Breakker take the win. Their alliance is fresh and needs momentum, and a victory here solidifies their status as a top heel faction.
3. Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre – Steel Cage Match
Priest and McIntyre’s rivalry reaches its climax inside a steel cage. With both men having traded victories, this match serves as the tiebreaker. Expect a brutal encounter as they settle the score.
Prediction: Damian Priest emerges victorious. He needs a significant win to elevate his status, and defeating McIntyre in a cage match achieves that. McIntyre doesn’t need the win but it’ll do wonders for Priest. McIntyre can descend further into madness after this and become even more unhinged. Book it Trips!
4. John Cena vs. R-Truth – WWE Undisputed Title
In a battle of former allies, R-Truth faces his childhood hero, John Cena. Cena’s recent heel turn has shocked fans, and Truth aims to bring back the Cena he once admired.
Prediction: John Cena wins. While Truth’s passion is commendable, Cena’s current trajectory suggests a dominant performance. I feel this is a match that Cena requested on his final tour so here it is. Let’s get this on first to get it out of the way shall we?
5. Zelina Vega (c) vs. Chelsea Green – Women’s United States Championship
Zelina Vega defends her title against former champion Chelsea Green. Despite Green’s recent losing streak, she gets another shot at the gold.
Prediction: This is a very tough one to predict. I really like Chelsea Green and think she has been putting in some decent work in the women’s division this year. I don’t think she should have lost the title. Vega has been OK but is getting no reaction from the crowd. I’m not sure what WWE is going to do here. But it’s a prediction article so here we go…Vega to retain.
Cody Rhodes’ Return: Speculation is rife about Cody Rhodes making a surprise appearance, possibly confronting John Cena or setting up a future storyline.
Personally, I can’t see it. I’m just not sure he’s going to go for Cena’s title again just yet. Or rather, I don’t think Cena will lose it anytime soon, unfortunately.
Lots of rivalries look as though they should end here tonight. McIntyre vs Priest has a fitting, natural end inside a steel cage.
Uso vs Paul will hopefully end here as well so we then move on to Uso vs Gunther on Raw in a couple weeks.
Looking forward to seeing the Punk/Zayn vs Rollins/Breakker match. I think something may go down here. A Zayn turn perhaps?
A decent card here for a Saturday night, so hopefully this will be an enjoyable one.
