The Epilogue

The Raw after Wrestlemania opens up with Hulk Hogan carrying around the inactive World Heavyweight Championship. “You know what brothers, I am man enough to admit that Steve Austin kicked my ass last night and he was the better man. I was willing to take my loss like a gentleman dude, but that rattlesnake cheap shotted me afterwards with another stunner. That isn’t cool, jack. It sounds like to me brother, Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin might have to run it back one more time, if the Hulkamaniacs want to see it dude.”

Before he can continue, Hogan is interrupted by familiar entrance music, but it is not entrance music that we have heard play in the WWE before. A limo has pulled into the car park and it is surrounded by 4 security guards. One of them knocks on the window and opens the door, out steps Goldberg. Another guard opens up the other limo door, out steps Eric Bischoff. They do the long walk from the backstage area to the ring. Hulk Hogan is in shock but he initially thinks that this is a reunion between old friends. Bischoff has a shit-eating grin and refuses to explain himself. Hogan goes to speak, but Goldberg cuts him in half with a spear.

Goldberg lifts him up and spears him again, and again, and again and again. He drops Hogan with a jackhammer and then bludgeons him with the world heavyweight championship. He hands it over to Bischoff, who takes a tissues and wipes off Hogan’s blood from the gold. “This prize is one of the most prestigious and beautiful championships in wrestling history, yet it has been reduced to a toy by this company. No more. Today, we are declaring that the World Heavyweight Championship is real and it always has been, it is more valuable than the Undisputed WWE championship.”

Vince McMahon comes out and he doesn’t know why Goldberg and Bischoff are here but they have no authority to come out here in his company and making such blasphemous claims. He gloats about killing WCW and now the WWE is reigning supreme. Bischoff smiles and says that he knows WCW lost, he has accepted that as a fact. They aren’t here to bring WCW back, they are here to takeover the show that took them out.

Goldberg spears Vince McMahon, hits the Jackhammer and also bludgeons him with the world title. McMahon is unconscious and in a bad way. Whilst he is attended to by medical staff Eric Bischoff speaks to the WWE universe. “Do not worry, we are not here to tear WWE down, we are here to make it better. Monday Night Raw has been thriving but it is quite clear that the beautiful Stephanie McMahon is making Smackdown the premiere show. So, consider this a takeover. WWE Raw belongs to me now, to us. We are going to make Raw great again and that, is an Uncle Eric guarantee.” Before they leave Goldberg simply grabs the microphone and asks “who’s next?”
