The rumours just won’t go away! Mariah May has been off-screen since losing to Toni Storm at Revolution last month and now her contract situation is being one-again discussed.
Dave Meltzer: ” She has a photo of Orlando, Florida. I know from people in WWE they know she wants to go there. I think people saw that cryptic thing. I don’t know when her contract is up, everyone seems to think it’s this summer that’s it up.”
Bryan Alvarez: “I was given the impression it’s a two-year deal that she signed originally, so you can do the math. I have heard the same thing that at least in AEW, there’s a belief she’s heading to WWE.”
I mean I don’t take much from anything Meltzer says to be honest, but it’s interesting that Mariah hasn’t been seen since Revolution. She is a major star in AEW and would be a massive loss, however, the likelihood is that she is just taking a well-earned break. Until a contract announcement is made though, rumours will swirl.
