AEW RANKINGS: ELITE 15 – July

Kane Carnage By Kane Carnage 1 Jul 2025 6 min read

Here we are for the monthly update of AEW’s Elite 15. On a monthly basis we are going to use a carefully selected criteria to Power Rank the Top 15 most Elite of All Elite Wrestling. This will show us who AEW are pushing the most on our screens but will definitely leave out a few big names due to them either not wrestling much or wins aren’t so important to their current story.

HOWEVER we have added a lot more positions for people to see, so this time the list will reach around 40 AEW Wrestlers. But only 15 will get a major feature.

Criteria

Are they a Champion? + 10 for a Singles Champion and +5 for a Tag or Trios Champion.
Win/Loss record: +1 for a win -1 for a loss.
PPVWins/PPVAppearances: +3 for a win and +1 for making it to a PPV.
Tournament Wins: +2 for winning any match considered a Tournament match.
Win %: If you have a 100% record, that’s 10 points. 83.8% record, that’s 8.3 points.

As per request, I’ve gone and put together just an extended list of over 40 names in AEW so far this year. So let’s do that first. Sorry if some names are missed. You may see some obvious ones off but when doing this I decided that a competitor had to have at least 5 matches in AEW before being eligible for these rankings.

40. MJF – 6
39. Yuta – 7.4
38. Brian Cage – 7.8
37. Julia Hart – 8
36. Rush – 8.2

34. Jay White – 8.6
33. Orange Cassidy – 8.7
32. Dustin Rhodes/Willow/Athena/Josh Alexander – 9
31. Brody King – 9.3
30. Nick Wayne – 9.6
29. Claudio – 10.4
28. Cope – 11.3
27. Jamie Hayter – 11.7
26. Mike Bailey – 12.8
25. Bandido – 13
24. Young Bucks – 15.1
23. PAC – 15.5
22. Dax Harwood – 17.6
21. Hook – 18
20. Shibata – 18.1
19. Megan Bayne – 18.7
18. Ricochet – 19
17. Swerve – 19.2
16. Cash Wheeler 19.3

15. HOLOGRAM

Champion?: NO = 0
Wins: 11 = 11
Losses: 0 = 0
PPVWins: 0 = 0
PPVApps: 0 = 0
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 100 = 10
TOTAL: 21

Hologram makes its to this month’s list. With 2 wins in the month of June, that was enough to leap over Ricochet into the covered 15th position.

14. KYLE FLETCHER

rankings

Champion?: NO = 0
Wins: 13 = 13
Losses: 5 = -5
PPVWins: 2 = 6
PPVApps: 3 = 3
Tourn.Ws: 1 = 2
Win %: 72.2 = 7.2
TOTAL: 26.2

Kyle Fletcher holds onto his position at 14th for this month. A very busy June for Fletcher with 4 wins and 2 losses over the past month. Perhaps he will soon have a championship to his name, shooting him right up the rankings.

13. ADAM COLE

rankings

Champion?: YES = 10
Wins: 10 = 10
Losses: 5 = 5
PPVWins: 1 = 3
PPVApps: 2 = 2
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 66.6 = 6.6
TOTAL: 26.6

Adam Cole also maintains his spot at 13th. Keeping himself very busy with 3 wins and 2 losses in the month of June. Hopefully Cole can hold onto his title because without it, he doesn’t make this list.

12. SAMOA JOE

Champion?: YES – 5
Wins: 13 = 13
Losses: 2 = -2
PPVWins: 1 = 3
PPVApps: 1 = 1
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 86.6 = 8.6
TOTAL: 28.6

Samoa Joe falls down 3 spots on this list with only 1 match in June and it was a loss. Unfortunate for such a dominate champion is AEW but this wasn’t his month.

11. POWERHOUSE HOBBS

Champion?: YES = 5
Wins: 16 = 16
Losses: 4 = -4
PPVWins: 1 = 3
PPVApps: 1 = 1
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 80 = 8
TOTAL: 29

Hobbs holds his position at 11th, having just 2 matches in June. 1 win and 1 loss. Hobbs is one of the busiest wrestlers in the company. Hobbs is one of only 8 wrestlers to have wrestlers 20 or more matches this year and 2nd best percentage wise in the 20+ field.

10. JON MOXLEY

Champion?: YES = 10
Wins: 11 = 11
Losses: 7 = -7
PPVWins: 2 = 6
PPVApps: 3 = 3
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 61.1 = 6.1
TOTAL: 29.1

Moxley has had a good month, moving himself up to 10th with 3 wins and no losses. There was an error with Moxley’s score last week, 1 win that was meant to be a loss but it wouldn’t have affected his position. Regardless, a good month for the AEW World Champion.

9. KONOSUKE TAKESHITA

rankings

Champion?: NO = 0
Wins: 18 = 18
Losses: 6 = -6
PPVWins: 2 = 6
PPVApps: 3 = 3
Tourn.Ws: 1 = 2
Win %: 75 = 7.5
TOTAL: 30.5

Konosuke Takeshita the workhorse of AEW, still with the most matches in the company, adding 5 more this month, 3wins and 2 losses. I don’t see Konosuke slowing down at all anytime soon. Hopefully championship gold is in his near future.

8. ‘HANGMAN’ ADAM PAGE

Champion?: NO = 0
Wins: 11 = 11
Losses: 1 = -1
PPVWins: 2 = 6
PPVApps: 2 = 2
Tourn.Ws: 3 = 6
Win %: 91.6 = 9.1
TOTAL: 33.1

Hangman has only competed in 1 match during June but it’s fair to say he’s the main character again. From his Post Double or Nothing segment with Swerve and Ospreay to last week’s show. Everybody is behind the cowboy to bring the feeling back to AEW.

7. WILL OSPREAY

Champion?: NO = 0
Wins: 15 = 15
Losses: 3 = -3
PPVWins: 2 = 6
PPVApps: 3 = 3
Tourn.Ws: 2 = 4
Win %: 83.3 = 8.3
TOTAL: 33.3

Ospreay has had a lot to do on the mic this month but he’s still wrestling as much as he can, 2wins, 1 loss and even a draw. Forming a new relationship with Swerve, after their draw on Dynamite, to set up Swerve/Will vs Young Bucks for All In. A match certainly capable to steal the show.

6. SHELTON BENJAMIN

Champion?: YES = 5
Wins: 10 = 10
Losses: 0 = 0
PPVWins: 3 = 9
PPVApps: 3 = 3
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 100 = 10
TOTAL: 37

Not a very busy month for Benjamin, but not an unsuccessful one. Adding 1 win to his perfect record in AEW. Shelton doesn’t show any sign of losing his perfect record or Tag championship.

5. BOBBY LASHLEY

Champion?: YES = 5
Wins: 11 = 11
Losses: 0 = -0
PPVWins: 3 = 9
PPVApps: 3 = 3
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 100 = 10
TOTAL: 38

Not a very busy month for Lashley, but not an unsuccessful one. Adding 1 win to his perfect record in AEW. Bobby doesn’t show any sign of losing his perfect record or Tag championship. Hopefully the Hurt Syndicate storyline will heat up very soon.

4. KAZUCHIKA OKADA

Champion?: YES = 10
Wins: 10 = 10
Losses: 0 = 0
PPVWins: 2 = 6
PPVApps: 2 = 2
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 100 = 10
TOTAL: 38

Okada hasn’t featured a ton this year, but he’s still undefeated. Adding 1 more win in the month of June on his way to All In. When Okada and Kenny face off at All In only 1 of them will leave with the 10 point champions bonus and the other will fall. So, who’s going to win at All In?

3. TONI STORM

Champion?: YES = 10
Wins: 14 = 14
Losses: 3 = -3
PPVWins: 3 = 9
PPVApps: 3 = 3
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 82.3 = 8.2
TOTAL: 41.2

2 wins added to Toni Storm’s name this month and a lot of beatdowns unfortunately. Still unmatched on the mic, in all of wrestling. Toni has her biggest match yet coming at All In against Mercedes. Can she continue her reign as AEW Women’s World Champion?

2. KENNY OMEGA

Champion?: YES = 10
Wins: 8 = 8
Losses: 1 = -1
PPVWins: 4 = 12
PPVApps: 4 = 4
Tourn.Ws: 0 = 0
Win %: 88.8 = 8.8
TOTAL: 41.8

Only 1 win this month for Kenny Omega but what a win it was. Fatal Four Way vs Claudio, Brody King and Mascara Dorada. Wow. Kenny is current hurt after spewing up his guts because of an Okada and Callis alliance but now with Kota Ibushi back, there’s nothing Kenny can’t overcome.

1. MERCEDES MONE

Champion?: YES = 10
Wins: 11 = 11
Losses: 2 = -2
PPVWins: 4 = 12
PPVApps: 4 = 4
Tourn.Ws: 3 = 6
Win %: 84.6 = 8.4
TOTAL: 49.4

At No.1 STILL the CEO of AEW Mercedes Mone. Mercedes only had 1 AEW match this month but it was a significant one, adding another belt to her collection. All In is just around the corner and Mercedes is either about to complete the wrestling business or begin her downfall. Which one will it be? Lets wait and see.

This concludes our list for July, we will track everyone’s results and bring together a new Elite 15 same time next month. Keep an eye out!
