This week’s TNA Impact was held at El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso, Texas.

Masha Slamovich kicked off the show after retaining her TNA Knockouts World Championship last week at TNA Sacrifice. She declared her intentions to be recognised as the best champion in wrestling but Tessa Blanchard came out for the interruption. Blanchard announced her desire to win the title before NXT’s Jacy Jayne hit her with a sneak attack. That led to Santino Marella announcing a match between Slamovich and Jayne for Impact next week with Blanchard banned from ringside.

The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) def. The Northern Armory (Judas Icarus and Travis Williams)

The Armory took control in the early stages with some cheap tactics. However, what goes around comes around and The Rascalz used similar tactics to take control back. One Feed ‘Em to the Lions on Williams later and The Rascalz got the win.

Chavo Guerrero Jr. returned to TNA as a special guest on the First Class Penthouse. AJ Francis and KC Navarro got some cheap heat by trashing the fans in El Paso before Chavo stopped them. Frankie Kazarian then came out to remind Chavo of their unfinished business from years ago. Chavo wasn’t alone though and announced a 6-man tag for next week alongside The Aztec Warriors (Laredo Kid and Octagon Jr.) against Kazarian and First Class.

Mike Santana def. Mustafa Ali via count-out

The Great Hands (Jason Hotch and John Skyler) and Tasha Steelz were banned from ringside and Santana got things off to a quick start with a dive to the outside. They brawled around at ringside for a bit before returning to the ring. Santana came close to a win when Ali decided to exit once again. Ali decided to leave through the crowd, thus being voluntarily counted out.

Nic Nemeth came to the ring with Ryan Nemeth to address his betrayal of Matt Hardy after the Sacrifice Steel Cage match. Nic took all the credit for TNA’s success over the last 12 months and blamed The Hardys (including Jeff Hardy) for trying to swoop in and take the credit. Nic blamed Matt for trying to cause tension between Nic and Ryan but he believes they are the greatest brother duo in wrestling. Leon Slater came out to confront Nic and try to put him in his place. Ryan issued a challenge to Slater for next week on Nic’s behalf. Slater got in the ring but was immediately laid out by a superkick.

Lei Ying Lee and Xia Brookside def. Rosemary and Savannah Evans

This was a fast-paced match between these four women. Brookside managed to just dodge the green mist, causing Rosemary to blind Evans with it. Lee then took advantage and hit the Thunderstruck to get the win.

The Personal Concierge hosted a celebration for Ash by Elegance and Heather by Elegance, who won the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship at Sacrifice after beating Spitfire in a 3-on-2 Handicap match. However, they were once again confronted by NXT’s Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend, who declared their intention to win the Knockouts Tag Titles. However, Spitfire came to the ring to remind the champions of their rematch clause. Finally, NXT’s Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley came out to also declare their desire to win the Tag Titles. This led to a huge brawl and a match being made for next week between The Elegance Brand and Dolin and Paxley, with everyone else being banned from ringside.

Mance Warner def. Magno

Warner dominated this match quickly and won with a knee strike.

Squish’s rating: Squash (not rated)

Elijah and TNA World Champion Joe Hendry def. The System (Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards)

Alisha Edwards accompanied The System to ringside and attacked Elijah when the referee wasn’t looking. Elijah hit a spinning neckbreaker on Eddie, allowing him to make a hot tag to Hendry. Hendry then went on offence to quicken the pace of the match. The numbers advantage of The System was able to lay Elijah out at ringside. However, he came back to hit a running knee on Eddie, allowing Hendry to beat Myers with the Standing Ovation.
