TNA Impact March 13th Results

This week’s TNA Impact was held at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.

Eddie Edwards def. Leon Slater to earn the advantage for his team at Sacrifice

A fast-paced, action-packed match that ended with Eddie dodging a top-rope 450 and hitting a Boston Knee Party after sending Slater into the steel ring post.

NXT’s Wes Lee def. Laredo Kid

Lee picked up a win ahead of his 6-man tag at Sacrifice, beating Kid with a Cardiac Kick.

Xia Brookside def. Rosemary via DQ

Brookside got frustrated and went to use a steel chain but Rosemary hit her with the green mist.

Squish’s rating: 4/10

JDC def. Cody Deaner

JDC warned Deaner to forfeit but Deaner let the crowd decide his fate and they encouraged him to fight. JDC cheated with the thumb to the eye and then beat him with the Falcon Arrow.

Tessa Blanchard and NXT’s Cora Jade def. Lei Ying Lee and TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich

Both teams need a win here ahead of their respective matches at Sacrifice. Towards the end, Jade clocked Slamovich with her title. Blanchard then picked up the win for her team off the Buzzsaw.

This Summit was mediated by Tom Hannifan one day before their match at Sacrifice. Ali continuously brought up demons from the past of Santana until Santana fired back. Ali then mentioned Santana’s daughter, causing Santana to go on the attack but he was taken out by The Great Hands (Jason Hotch and John Skyler).

Director of Operations Santino Marella was set to announce Hendry’s challenger until Ryan Nemeth came out to state he would be using Nic Nemeth’s rematch clause to get a title shot.

Joe Hendry (c) def. Ryan Nemeth to retain the TNA World Championship

Ryan missed a clothesline so Hendry won off the Standing Ovation.

Now for Hendry’s real opponent.

Joe Hendry (c) def. Hammerstone to retain the TNA World Championship

Hammerstone used his strength advantage to batter Hendry around the ringside area. Hammerstone then took things back into the ring and continued to unload on Hendry. Hendry then started to make a comeback and hit the Standing Ovation to get the win.
