Hi everyone! It’s that time again so here we go for another weekly slam. Now, I got a bit of stick after last week‘s edition for being too pro-AEW (even though I’m sure I gave a little criticism) so I’ll be mindful of that this week. More on that later.
So buckle up! It’s Monday!! You know what that means!!! (Oops sorry)
Ricky Saints

Got to start off with some WWE! I love Ricky Starks, sorry Saints (got to get used to that) and I actually don’t mind the name change. He has so much potential and debuting in NXT first is the right move, in my opinion.
Quite interested in a feud with Ethan Page and also to see what else he can achieve before heading to the main roster.
Oba Femi

Holy shit I’ve been asleep when it comes to this man! I’ll admit, I haven’t seen too much of Oba, but I finally woke up this past week and my god, he’s awesome! Hopefully, he is continued to be built like the machine he is and he can be the future of the company, along with…
Bron Breakker

Whenever I see this man, I get more and more impressed each time. He is without doubt the future of the company (along with Oba) and I hope after WrestleMania he gets elevated into the main event scene. He’s ready dammit!!
I want to see him go on a wrecking spree similar to that of a certain animal or beast.
TNA Hotting Up Again

So with the partnership between TNA and WWE being inked some many months back, it is finally bearing fruit for the TNA side.
More crossovers are happening now for TNA and they have some really exciting times ahead, and the fans seem to be all for it.
The Hardy’s back on WWE programming this week (on NXT) – yes please!
Elias, Ezekial, Elijah Elation

Who wants to walk with Elijah? I do! Hell yeah!
I love Elijah/Elias/Big Zeke, and he has a talent for grabbing the audience and having them in the palm of his hand. Surely, surely, there is a big spot for him somewhere?
It’s a surprise that he showed up in TNA after rumours circulated that he was set to sign with AEW and join Vincent’s ‘cult’ group (which would have been awesome by the way) but he showed up this past week in TNA and is in there with Joe Hendry.
Excited to see where this goes. Walk with him dammit!!
Check out Connor’s incredible rebooking of WrestleMania’s here!
When You Have No Script

Ok, so I need to mention some AEW – right? That Ok? Haha
Ricochet. Wow. He’s gone from a little bit of a laughing stock (in some people’s opinions, don’t shoot me) to a full-blown, cocky, arrogant, fantastic heel.
His promo this past week on Dynamite felt completely natural. He wasn’t reading from a script (if he was then kudos) and he was interacting with the crowd and playing the part to perfection.
He has been on a hell of a roll these past few weeks and his feud with Swerve is bringing out his A game.
Thunder Rosa

I mean, what the hell happened?
Thunder Rosa runs out with a chair to fend off the baddies and they just, stand there. They don’t scarper. Don’t throw their arms up. Penelope Ford actually tried to take the chair from her.
This feels like some sort of set-up as Megan Bayne didn’t attempt to leave the ring either.
This makes all the women look incredibly unprofessional here, and if I were Thunder Rosa I’d have been swinging that chair and taking someone’s head off as I’d have been PISSED!!
Bad look for all involved.
I Want Your Soul

No, not me. I mean The Rock wants Cody’s soul. Yep. His soul.
After digesting what happened, here are my thoughts.
Love The Final Boss. I really do. I just hate how this has gone down. He rocked up (sorry) a few months ago, pointing at Cody. We all think that this big feud is going to result in a big WrestleMania match.
Then on the first Raw on Netflix, he comes out as a face and kisses Cody’s ass. OK then we must be going in a different direction and that’s fair enough.
But then this past week, he flits between face and heel and it was so confusing. I get the bit where he makes the offer to Cody (loved this!) and I think this is so intriguing. I just hated the face/heel/face/heel part of the promo.
Although it doesn’t matter how stupid the face/heel turns were (sorry again) I was still hanging on every word from the great one and this is the presence he has. Those few calling for him to leave are as stupid as, errm, as stupid as candy ass.
Just Remembered
Just remembered the tidbit going around about how Shane McMahon wanted shares in AEW and control in running the place for him to join.
Again, not sure how much of this is true as it’s from the dirtsheets, but if this is correct, then I’d have told him to get lost too.
That’s yer lot for this week – I know this is the internet but stay positive people!
