The show started with a video package of the two gm’s. William Regal of Raw and Nick Aldis on Smackdown as Regal started: “Everyone, welcome to the new era of WWE where we are now heading towards an opportunity for Summerslam where both the men and women get to reach for the gold.”
Nick continued: “It’s time to announce the next Premium Live Event, King and Queen Of the Ring. And that means we will have both the King and Queen Of The Ring.”
William continues: “Tonight I will be presenting the matches of Charlotte Flair vs Lyra Valkyria, Tiffany Stratton vs Giulial, Solo Sikoa vs Bron Breakker and in the main event is Gunther vs CM Punk.”
Nick talks himself: “On Smackdown this friday we will have Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn, Jevon Evans vs Carmelo Hayes, Zaria vs Jacy Jane and Rhea Ripley vs Jade Cargill.”
William ended it: “As our world champions have a lot of trouble ahead of them as they might have to bow down to the King and Queen Of The Ring.”

Match: NO. 1 contenders elimination match
Finn Balor vs Kevin Owens vs Seth Rollins
The three put on an absolute classic.their different styles make the first 5 minutes an absolute PLE level bout. After a while Seth goes for a stomp on KO but Kevin pushes Seth into the sky as Balor takes advantage hitting a shotgun dropkick on Rollins mid-air as KO gets up and hits a stomp eliminating Rollins. The Canadian Cannonball and the Irish Prince go all out as KO goes for a pop-up powerbomb but Finn kicks him into the referee. Seth takes this chance and hits KO with a jaw breaker over the rope allowing Balor-who frankly doesn’t care to hit a 1916 on KO as the ref gets up in time to crown Finn Balor as the no.1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Promo: Post match the rest of Judgement Day in Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and the tag team champions Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh. Finn grabs a mic and says it’s time this world starts to respect him and the Judgement Day, with soon everyone will have gold. AJ Styles interrupts saying that Finn was an honorable opponent but only when he himself is honourable. Finn says that Styles is washed as Styles says that if he is washed then it will be easy for Finn to take the little off him next week as the match is set.
Backstage: After the promo exchange backstage the Lucha Bros knock into JD and Mysterio who start making fun of the Lucha Bros as Fenix says that if they’re so confident they can face the Lucha Bros right now as Judgement Day accept for a…Non title match.
Match: Judgement Day (JD and Dom) vs The Lucha Bros-non title match
The two teams put on a short highflying clinic with both teams going all out for 12 minutes straight. McDonagh In the end goes for a Moonsault but Penta dodges and tags in as Dominik tags himself in but immediately is hit with a Mexican Destroyer from Penta who tags in Fenix who hits a Frog Splash for the win.
Match: Queen Of The Ring Qualifier -Giulia vs Tiffany Stratton
The highflyer and striker go at it in a chemistry filled bout. Tiffany uses her athleticism to dodge Giulia’s attacks but when Giulia’s moves do hit, they hit hard, knocking Tiffany back with a big boot but Stratton comes back with a Swanton. In the end Tiffany goes for the P.M.E but Giulia catches her hitting a Northern Lights Bomb for the three count.
Promo: Becky Lynch comes out celebrating with the fans her victory of becoming the new Women’s World Champion, promising to take every member of this roster to its limits when AJ Lee’s music hits. AJ comes out and at first congratulates Becky before that psychology smile gets on her face as she starts berating Becky saying that AJ will hunt down everyone Lynch cares about until she gets a shot and shes not doing it alone. Becky turns around but is attacked by the women’s Intercontinental Champion Roxanne Perez attacks Becky hitting a Pop-Rox before standing next to Lee who holds up the World title.
Promo: Leon Slater came out saying that it’s time to revamp the Intercontinental Championship and he will do it by taking inspiration from the greatest United States Champion of all time John Cena and host a weekly open challenge starting tonight!
Match: Leon Slater-Intercontinental Open Challenge
Leon waits in the ring as…El Hijo Del Vikingo answers! The two got at it in an absolute highflying classic, showing off both of their great techniques. El Hijo with his arm drags, leg sweeps and even hitting a spinning dive to the outside. Leon shows off the training from the Hardyz with a whisper in the win before a kick to the back of the head before hitting a Tope Con Hilo over the post. In the end El Hijo goes for the 630 senton but Slater’s knees were up as he hits a Spin Out Powerbomb before going to the top and hitting a Swanton 450 to retain. Leon and El Hij shake hands as El Hijo lifts Leon’s hand in support before leaving, but before Leon can leave himself, Logan Paul comes out of nowhere and knocks Leon down with a knockout as Logan stands above him.
Backstage: Logan Paul gets backstage after his attack against Slater and gets a camera berating Leon for wasting his win against the Logan Paul by handing out opportunities left and right and now Logan’s waiting for his own opportunity.
Match: King Of The Ring Qualifier-Solo Sikoa vs Bron Breakker
Bron and Solo tear into each other from the opening bell—no feeling-out, just raw collision. Solo bullies him early with those heavy island strikes and a crushing hip attack in the corner, trying to slow the pace and make Bron fight his match. Bron fires back with that freakish power: a gorilla press slam, a bulldozing shoulder tackle, and a spinebuster that shakes the canvas.Solo finally traps Bron, roaring as he cocks back for the Samoan Spike—only for Bron to slip under at the last heartbeat and launch forward, blasting him with a spear that snaps the whole match in half as Bron Breakker stands tall.
Promo: Lyra Valkyria before her match grabbed a mic. She talks about how she might have failed at Night Of Champions but she won’t fail at King and Queen Of The Ring as she will face her inspiration Becky lynch at Summerslam and for as much as she respects Becky it’s time the next generation takes over starting with the Valkyrie.
Match: Queen Of The Ring Qualifier-Charlotte Flair vs Lyra Valkyria
Charlotte Flair and Lyra Valkyria step in with zero hesitation, both carrying that “I refuse to lose” energy that the Queen of the Ring qualifiers demand. Charlotte leans on that cold, calculating veteran instinct—tight holds, sharp chops, forcing Lyra to fight from underneath. Lyra answers with that fearless, storm-wing rhythm, slipping through openings and firing off kicks that make the crowd rise like a wave as the pace climbs. In the end Lyria catches Charlotte with a Nightwing as she pins Charlotte but the ref is distracted by…AJ Lee!? From behind Roxanne attacks Lyra with her title as Charlotte not realising this just goes to the top and hits a Moonsault qualifying for Queen Of The Ring. AJ and Roxanne start attacking Lyra, drawing out AJ’s opponent for Queen Of The Ring Qualifier and Lyra’s tag partner Bayley as well as Becky as the two get in the ring as Perez and Lee retreat.
Backstage: Before the main event however we catch a clip backstage of Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens brawling as the two go at it throwing everything they can at each other when security breaks them up. Seth however breaks free and grabs a chair knocking KO in the back with it.
MAIN EVENT: CM Punk vs Gunther-King Of The Ring Qualifier
From the opening bell it’s a clash of wills—Punk chopping down the giant with kicks, Gunther answering with those brutal, skin-splitting shots that echo through the arena. The crowd’s split, the tension’s thick, and both men refuse to blink. Every transition feels earned, every counter feels desperate, and by the time they hit the final stretch, it’s clear this isn’t just a qualifier—it’s a statement match. The whole arena rises as they circle for that last decisive moment…In the end Punk has Gunther on his shoulders for a GTS when Gunther slips out from behind and locks in the rear naked choke as he knocks out Punk getting the win.
