Opening Chaos:
Marina Shafir made her entrance, flanked by the Death Riders, who wasted no time trashing production gear and roughing up the crew.
AEW World Champion Jon Moxley spoke out:
“To everyone partying in the ring last night — enjoy it, because that party’s over. Young Bucks, after what happened, let’s just say I’ve decided I’m not a fan. Stay out of my way.
“Samoa Joe was the one guy I always respected in this game. I gave him his space… but Joe, you lit a fire I can’t put out. I only know one way to handle this — I don’t back down, I don’t hide, and I sure as hell don’t quit. So I’m throwing down the challenge, Joe. You know me. You know what’s coming.”
Lance Archer (w/ Don Callis) vs. Kevin Knight
Archer ambushed Knight before the bell, slamming him into the LED board. Knight rallied with a dropkick and moonsault, even hitting a hurracanrana. Archer nearly decapitated him with a brutal lariat.
Callis interfered, grabbing Knight’s ankle, allowing Archer to swing him into the steel steps. Knight fought back, escaping the Black Out and landing a UFO splash for two. Archer responded with a chokeslam, but Knight kicked out! In a shocking twist, Knight hit back-to-back springboard lariats and scored the upset pin!
Backstage:
Renee Paquette caught up with Kris Statlander and Jamie Hayter, who face off for the first time ever next week.
Hayter: “I know your level. We both know we can bring it.”
Kris: “This has been coming for a while. Whoever wins better take it all the way.”
Hayter: “See you Wednesday.”
Tony Schiavone read a letter from FTR, apologizing for their behavior last week.
Nigel dismissed it with sarcasm. Tony wasn’t buying it either and tossed the letter aside.
Tag Match: Josh Alexander & Konosuke Takeshita (Don Callis Family) vs. Tomohiro Ishii & Rocky Romero (The Conglomeration)
Takeshita and Ishii went head-to-head in a slugfest early on. Rocky and Josh then tagged in, with Romero taking Alexander down with a hurracanrana. While the ref was distracted, Takeshita yanked Rocky from the apron and laid into him.
Alexander locked Ishii in an ankle lock, but Rocky saved him. A miscommunication led Ishii to clothesline his own partner. When Ishii went for a tag, Rocky bailed on him, leaving Ishii to be double-teamed. A powerbomb from Alexander sealed the win.
Post-match, Rocky feigned concern, only for Trent to appear in disguise and join him in beating down Ishii. Trent, handed a wrench by Callis, smashed it into Ishii’s back while Rocky held him in place.
Tony Schiavone called it: “Absolutely disgusting!”
Megan Bayne (w/ Penelope Ford) vs. Ashley Vox & Rebecca Scott
Bayne dominated both opponents, hitting a double suplex and triple powerbombs on Scott. She dropped Vox with the decapitator, followed by Fate’s Descent, easily securing the win.
Tony: “Unreal display of dominance.”
TNT Championship Open Challenge: Adam Cole (c) vs. Claudio Castagnoli
Claudio came out swinging with a bodyslam and pump kick. Cole answered with a neckbreaker and knee strike. Claudio punished Cole by slamming him onto the barricade and tossing him into the crowd.
Schiavone: “How can Cole even recover from that?!”
Cole fought back with a jawbreaker and backstabber, but Claudio countered the Panama Sunrise. Cole landed a neckbreaker across his knee, then got caught in a Giant Swing! Claudio tried to fly off the top, but Cole cut him off with a thrust kick. Despite a superplex from Claudio, Cole reversed the momentum into a surprise cradle pin!
Nigel: “He escaped by sheer luck!”
Claudio lost it after the match, trashing the commentary booth. Moxley and the Death Riders rushed out to cool him down.
Backstage with Lexy Nair, Big Bill & Bryan Keith:
Big Bill: “Jericho’s disappointed in us? I’m disappointed in him. He’s supposed to lead us, and he bailed.”
Bryan Keith: “This is family business. Maybe if you didn’t blast him last week, he wouldn’t have walked.”
Bill: “I get it… I just don’t know if we should keep playing by Chris Jericho’s rules.”
Trios Match: LFI (Dralistico, Rush & Beast Mortos) vs. KM, Rosario Grillo & LSG
A full-on beatdown. Dralistico rocked KM with a head kick, Rush tagged in and finished it with the Bull’s Horns for the decisive victory.
Backstage with Renee Paquette, Kevin Knight & “Speedball” Mike Bailey:
Ricochet interrupted, warning them not to challenge the top-tier stars. Knight fired back: “Anything you can do, I can do better.” The two almost came to blows, but Bailey calmed things down.
ROH World TV Championship: Komander (c) (w/ Alex Abrahantes) vs. Nick Wayne (The Patriarchy)
Wayne spat gum in Komander’s face to start. Komander responded with explosive offense, including a hurracanrana and backbreaker. Wayne used Komander’s own speed against him, throwing him into the corner.
Komander hit a poison rana, but Wayne answered with a dragon suplex. After a brutal exchange, Komander tried to fly again, but Wayne cut him off and nailed the Prodigy Plex to become the new ROH World TV Champion!
Tony: “The youngest singles champ in history!”
Backstage:
Top Flight revealed they met with Tony Khan and will take on CRU (Action Andretti & Lio Rush) in a Tornado Tag Match next week on Collision!
Mercedes Moné & Harley Cameron vs. Kris Statlander & Julia Hart
AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm joined commentary. Harley nearly rolled up Kris early, but Statlander hit back with a suplex. Julia tagged in and dropped Harley with a vicious lariat. Mercedes and Kris brawled outside, and Mercedes delivered the three amigos.
Kris fired back with snap suplexes, even hitting Hayter Aid on Harley for the pin while Jamie Hayter watched backstage.
