We all know the history behind this one, don’t we? Punk returned to the wrestling world with AEW in what was the biggest shock since, well, he left. All In London arrived and Perry pushed things a little far with his “real glass” comments and this sparked a backstage melee that we got to see on Dynamite. This led to Punk leaving AEW and rejoining WWE in what was another shock.
This match has money written all over it. Perry isn’t in Punk’s league, either on the mic or in the ring. However, he is decent with bags of potential and this would bring real-life hatred to a storyline and blur those lines like never before. And of course, we’d see Perry get a good hiding. Book it someone!
2. Seth Rollins vs Kenny Omega
A match between Seth Rollins and Kenny Omega is every wrestling purist’s fantasy. Both are known for their exceptional in-ring skills, innovative offense, and dedication to storytelling through wrestling. AJ is in the twilight of his career and this is a match that I just don’t think we are going to see again. Ospreay is trying to make this happen (or more likely, trying to cause a bit of mischief) by telling AJ to quit his job so they can have the match. Nice try Will!
10. IYO SKY vs Timeless Toni Storm
IYO SKY’s captivating agility and innovative offense have made her a highlight of WWE’s women’s division. She has been putting on banger after banger this year and is making the title mean something once again.
