TNA Impact June 12th Results

This week’s TNA Impact was held at the Mullett Arena in Tempe, Arizona.

To open the show, Santino Marella addressed the TNA fans. He thanks them for giving him the strength he needed to get rid of NXT’s Robert Stone for good. He also announced that after Leon Slater pinned Moose in the tag match at Against All Odds, he will get a TNA X-Division Championship match at Slammiversary. Plus next week on Impact, we’re getting the return of the Champions Challenge tag match.

The Inspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay) def. Brittnie Brooks and Missa Kate

This is the first match back in TNA for The Inspiration since April 2022. Lee immediately took the fight to Brooks and Kate. Lee hit Kate with a Fisherman’s Suplex but Brooks kept the match alive. McKay sent Brooks to the ringside area with a kick off the apron. After that, all it took to beat Kate was The Idoliser.

First Class’ AJ Francis and KC Navarro brought us a brand new edition of their First Class Penthouse with a special guest, TNA World Champion NXT’s Trick Williams. The three men bragged about running TNA and NXT before First Class declared their intentions to win the TNA World Tag Team Championship.

Leon Slater def. Jason Hotch

Slater needed momentum ahead of his title match at Slammiversary against Moose while Hotch needed to bounce back from losing to Mustafa Ali at Against All Odds. Slater increased the pace and took out Hotch with a handspring back elbow. A kick from Hotch sent Slater back first into the ring post and was followed up by a stomp onto the apron. The fast pace continued until Slater got the win off a Swanton 450.

8-4-1 match: Indi Hartwell, Killer Kelly, Jody Threat and Tasha Steelz def. Rosemary, Dani Luna, Tessa Blanchard and Xia Brookside to advance to the second phase

The winner of the overall match will earn a title shot for the TNA Knockouts World Championship. Luna and Threat, former tag partners in Spitfire, start things off here. Rosemary couldn’t contain her anger and attacked Brookside, one of her own partners. Kelly was in action for the first time since March 2024 as she took the fight to Rosemary. Victoria Crawford interfered from ringside to swing the advantage to Blanchard. Blanchard hit Hartwell with a cheap shot on the apron. Hartwell fought back and delivered a Spinebuster to Rosemary but Luna kept the match alive. Blanchard chose to walk out and abandon her team. Chaos descended as everyone went at it in the ring. Hartwell connected with a Hurts Donut to Rosemary to give her team the first phase win.

8-4-1 match: Killer Kelly def. Indi Hartwell, Jody Threat and Tasha Steelz to earn a TNA Knockouts World Championship match in two weeks

Kelly hits Angels Wings on Steelz early on. Threat goes flying to hit both women with a top-rope crossbody. Threat attempted a vertical suplex on Steelz but Hartwell tried to capitalise and got a near fall off a roll up. Steelz connected with a step-up bulldog to Threat for her own near fall. Hartwell was about to beat Steelz with Hurts Donut but got hit with a running knee by Kelly. Kelly pinned Steelz to steal the win.

TNA International Champion Steve Maclin has some words of warning for TNA World Champion NXT’s Trick Williams ahead of the Champions Challenge match next week.

Mance Warner and Steph De Lander wanted to address the TNA fans after Warner failed to beat Steve Maclin to win the TNA International Championship. De Lander went on to refer to Warner’s loss as a robbery. Warner was visibly angry but when Tommy Dreamer tried to calm him down and deescalate things, Warner ran right through him.

The Hardys (Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy) def. First Class (AJ Francis and KC Navarro) via DQ

Francis tried to charge at The Hardys before the match began but got sent to the ringside area. Francis grabbed hold of Jeff’s hair from the apron. That distraction was enough for Navarro to take Jeff down with a dive to ringside. Francis connected with Tennessee Whiskey to Jeff in the corner. Jeff connected with the Twist of Fate twice to Francis before tagging in Matt. Matt went straight on the attack and hit a Side Effect from the corner. However TNA World Champion NXT’s Trick Williams showed up to attack Matt and cause the DQ. The show concluded with a chaotic brawl.
