NXT rolled out of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida on 19 May 2026 with Vic Joseph and Booker T on commentary. A loaded card delivered two title defences, two big in-ring debuts and the show-closing moment of the night — DarkState formally expelling Saquon Shugars from the faction in brutal fashion to send him through a table.

Tag Team Match: Kam Hendrix & Mason Rook def. Tony D’Angelo & Myles Borne

Champions vs newcomers and the newcomers won. Borne ate the bulk of the punishment as Hendrix and Rook took turns on him, before D’Angelo evened things up with a spinebuster and a spear. D’Angelo’s attempted Spear on the outside backfired into the steel steps. Tavion Heights appeared to attack Hendrix as payback for Borne issues, but the distraction allowed Rook to plant Borne with the Death Valley Driver — only for Hendrix to dive in and steal the pin from his own partner. Rook was visibly furious after the bell.

Hendrix later told Sarah Schreiber he felt entitled to a North American title shot, then squashed Rook in a quick post-segment scuffle. Trouble already brewing.

Kelani Jordan Calls Her Shot

A strong promo from Jordan claiming she’s the fastest-rising homegrown talent in WWE — better than Fatal Influence, Blake Monroe and Sol Ruca — and pointing out she’s the only woman to make Lola Vice tap, yet has never had a title shot. Izzi Dame interrupted, citing her own pinfall over Vice. Lola Vice came out and granted Dame a championship match next week, telling Jordan she’d get to her after. Kendal Grey provided a distraction, allowing Wren Sinclair to blindside both Jordan and Dame with her crutch. Segment ended without resolution.

Tristan Angels def. Romeo Moreno (w/ Noam Dar)

Strong NXT debut for the Spaniard Angels against the Englishman Moreno (also debuting). Moreno hit a no-hands springboard crossbody to the floor and a Backstabber, but Shiloh Hill watching from the crowd in “Mr. NXT” attire visibly rattled Angels. Angels eventually tripped Moreno ringside and finished with a planted knee/curb stomp. Post-match war of words between Angels (“Mr. England”) and Hill (“Mr. NXT”), with Hill announcing his petition campaign.

Champions’ Backstage Segment

Lola Vice, Tatum Paxley, Myles Borne and Tony D’Angelo gathered backstage, all acknowledging the growing targets on their backs. Naraku cackled at D’Angelo: “Evil will strike when you least expect it.”

NXT Women’s North American Championship: Tatum Paxley (c) def. Lizzy Rain

Stiff, respectful contest between champion and debuting newcomer. Paxley countered a Rain finishing attempt into Cemetery Drive to retain. The two embraced after the bell — and then Zaria returned, levelling both with a double spear before delivering F5s to each and posing with Paxley’s title. The Zaria/Paxley collision course is now set.

Keanu Carver def. Tate Wilder

Carver continues his early dominant streak. Wilder bled under the left eye and got in some hope spots including a ringside DDT and a frog splash, but Carver overpowered him with a pounce/powerslam combination, finishing with the Spinebuster.

Charlie Dempsey vs Shiloh Hill Set for Next Week

Hill was running around backstage gathering signatures for his “Mr. NXT” petition. OTM signed it. Birthright’s Arianna Grace (“Ms. NXT”) refused, telling him he wasn’t pageant material. Charlie Dempsey overheard the whole thing, accused Hill of embarrassing the business and challenged him to a match next week.

NXT Tag Team Championship: The Vanity Project (c) def. DarkState

Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes (with Jackson Drake and Myka Lockwood) retained over Dion Lennox and Saquon Shugars (with Osiris Griffin and Cutler James) via Inside Cradle. Solid main event title bout, but the finish was overshadowed by what came next.

Main Event Angle: DarkState Turn on Saquon Shugars

The show closed with DarkState in the ring. Osiris Griffin and Cutler James attacked Shugars while Dion Lennox watched. The pair then walked over to Dion — who stepped between them, then turned and punched Shugars himself. Dion hit Shugars with a spinebuster. Shugars slapped Dion in defiance. Dion ordered Osiris and Cutler to hoist Shugars up for the Son of Cerberus Bomb through a table. The three stood tall over a destroyed Shugars as the show went off the air.

The Dion Lennox / Saquon Shugars split has been building for weeks and tonight pulled the trigger emphatically — Shugars is now alone, and Dion has fully aligned with Osiris and Cutler.

A purposeful, character-driven episode that moved every major storyline forward. The DarkState turn on Shugars was the emotional peak — a long-telegraphed split executed with proper viciousness. Zaria’s return to wreck Paxley sets up the next title programme, while Hendrix turning on Rook in the opener plants seeds in the men’s mid-card. NXT debuts for Tristan Angels, Romeo Moreno, Mason Rook, Kam Hendrix and Lizzy Rain — the brand’s new wave is properly here.
