AEW Dynamite opened with a Halloween-themed Tornado Tag Match as Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy took on Death Riders members Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia.
All four men battled around the arena using chairs, tables, and high-flying dives and Cassidy sent Garcia through a table, while Allin locked Yuta in a Scorpion Death Lock for the submission victory.
Fright Night 4-Way Tag Team Match: FTR def. The Young Bucks, Jet Speed, and Jurassic Express
In a high-energy tag team bout to determine the No. 1 contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Titles, FTR overcame three elite teams — The Young Bucks, Jet Speed (Mike Bailey & Kevin Knight), and Jurassic Express (Jack Perry & Luchasaurus).
Before the match, Don Callis tried to recruit the Bucks to the family and ensured they got a great entrance, as a sign of what he can offer.
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler hit the Shatter Machine on Kevin Knight to secure the win.
FTR will now face Brodido for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Full Gear.
Jon Moxley vs. Kyle O’Reilly Ends in a Double Count-Out
Jon Moxley and Kyle O’Reilly tore into each other in a physical rematch that ended in a double count-out after both men brawled on the outside.
After the bell, chaos erupted as the Death Riders attacked O’Reilly until Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, and Darby Allin made the save. The segment ended with Cassidy issuing a major challenge — Blood and Guts in two weeks’ time.

The main event saw Samoa Joe defeat HOOK, Bobby Lashley, and Ricochet to become the new No. 1 contender for the AEW World Championship.
After a hard-hitting four-way, Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch on HOOK for the tap-out victory. Joe will now challenge “Hangman” Adam Page for the AEW World Title at Full Gear.

During the AEW World Championship contract signing, Samoa Joe was caught off guard when “Hangman” Page disguised himself as Tony Schiavone.
Page revealed his true identity, hit a Buckshot Lariat, and stood tall over Joe to close the show — sending a clear message ahead of Full Gear.

Don Callis hosted a “Family Summit” with Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, Josh Alexander, and Konosuke Takeshita, but tensions boiled over between Okada and Takeshita.
