Biography
Akira Tozawa built his reputation in Dragon Gate, where his intensity, speed and punishing German suplexes made him a standout of the promotion. International appearances expanded his following before WWE signed him for the Cruiserweight Classic in 2016. Tozawa later captured the Cruiserweight Championship and proved equally valuable as a serious competitor and gifted comedic performer. Beneath the humour remains an accomplished veteran capable of changing the pace of a match instantly.
