NWA Episode 15 – Deadly Games Revealed

NWA Roster & History

Airing live on Amazon Prime, 19th March 2025 – NWA Presents: World Class Championship Wrestling @ First Interstate Arena, Billings, MT

Pyro goes off and we are welcomed to the thirteenth episode of World Class Championship Wrestling by our commentary team, Ian Riccaboni & Nigel McGuinness. We are a week away from NWA Power II: Sabotage. Some big matches have been announced already, including an unsanctioned match between Eddie Kingston and Ricky Starks. Speaking of, here comes Eddie Kingston now.

We Hear From Eddie Kingston

Eddie Kingston is excited for next week because now he and Starks are even. An eye for an eye, a hand for a hand. Kingston explains that they both asked for a rematch but with the hand injuries, the NWA refused to sanction it. Eddie Kingston says Fuck the NWA, he will do what he wants to. However, Eddie is looking beyond next week. He puts Walter on notice that once he lays waste to Ricky Starks, he has his eyes on championship gold.

Walter’s music interrupts Kingston and he comes to the ring. Walter laughs Kingston off as a challenger and claims he is not even in his league. However, Walter does need to find himself a challenger for the Deadly Games PPV. Walter confirms that the winner between Kingston and Starks will face him for the championship. Ricky Starks comes out and stands at the top of the ramp, sporting a red cast on his left hand. Starks says it doesn’t matter how many broken bones he has, he will make sure Kingston leaves with one more than him. He will rid NWA of Kingston before going on to become The Absolute World Champion.

Ilja Dragunov vs Dominik Mysterio

No Oba Femi out here, he wants Dom to fight his own battles. Zack Sabre Jr joins us on commentary. He watches as Dragunov dissects Mysterio throughout the match. Dom gets some licks in, but Dragunov drops Dom with a Torpedo Moscow after 8 minutes to win the match. Zack gets in the ring and holds up the championship in front of Dragunov and confirms they will face off next week.

The Acclaimed are talking backstage when Will Hobbs comes into the picture. He shows some love towards Bowens, but he gives a lot of praise towards Max. The Acclaimed tell Hobbs that next week with NWA being in Las Vegas they’re planning on going on a crazy party and invite him along. Hobbs would love to.

We Hear From Miro

NWA’s resident evangelist Miro comes out once again full of smiles and love for the audience. He continues to praise himself and anyone who supports the Mirocracy. He plugs his merch and MiroCoin once again but he is interrupted by Tyler Breeze. Miro’s expression drops all joy. Breeze comes out and questions this new movement he has seen in NWA. He accuses Miro of taking advantage of fans for his own personal gain and he is pretty sure MiroCoin is a scam. Miro challenges him to find out first hand why he is the saviour of the masses. A referee comes down and we’re getting a match right now!

Miro vs Tyler Breeze

Tyler Breeze gets in some offence, but it largely goes ineffective. Miro isn’t even kept down for a 2 count. Miro catches Breeze in midair after a Beauty Shot attempt and drops him with a one-handed spinebuster. He hits the Matchka kick and locks in his signature submission move which he has now renamed Last Rites. Breeze taps out but Miro keeps the hold locked in until Breeze passes out. Miro says a prayer over an unconscious Breeze before returning to his smiling self and giving prayers to the crowd.

LA Knight has been watching Miro from backstage and he comments that Miro is an even bigger dummy than Christian Cage is. Christian walks in and takes issue with that comment. He has done a lot in his career, some things that LA Knight will never come close to achieving but he has never started a cult. Considering LA Knight can lead the fans to chant his name or the word “Yeah”, he suggests maybe LA Knight is a cult leader. They go back and forth before Knight jokes about Christian’s “peeps” back in the day and walks off.

We Hear from The Consortium

Mercedes Mone flanked by her business associates come out to talk about their match next week against Athena & Kamille. She calls them both irrelevant and not worthy of being anywhere near her women’s championship. Mercedes is interrupted by Jordynne Grace. She reminds Mone that at NWA Power: Into The Fire, Grace had her beat. “The only reason you have a victory over me is because of those two bitches right there.” She points at Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie. Both women get heated and step to Grace, but Mercedes backs them off.

She tells Grace it doesn’t matter what path they take. If Grace wants to be righteous, good for her. However, Mercedes has the money and the looks and the championship that proves she is the Boss around here. Grace calls Mone an unworthy champion and all of her “associates” sellouts. She is especially disappointed in Billie, who has the potential to be a major star but now she just serves Mone’s ego. Billie Starkz says she simply realised that Athena was not a good mentor to her. She hasn’t reached the levels of success that Mercedes has. Mone is a wrestling legend and a Hollywood star.

Mercedes tells Grace she is at the top of women’s wrestling and she is bringing her associates up with her. Next week, they will dispose of Kamille and Athena, but for now they will take pleasure in wiping out Jordynne Grace. The Consortium closes in on Grace, but out runs Athena and Kamille for support. Billie Starkz immediately runs to escape Athena’s wrath. The 6 women stand off in the ring exchanging words. Mercedes decides to back her allies off and they leave without coming into contact.

Grizzled Young Veterans vs The Good Brothers

The Grizzled Young Veterans attack the Good Brothers during their entrance to gain an early advantage. They spend most of the match in control, but Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows manage to fight back into the match and get the win. The Good Brothers hit the magic killer to get the win after 10 minutes. The Motor City Machine Guns come out and have a face to face with the winners. These two teams will face off next week for an opportunity at AOP’s tag championships.

Commentary plug for next week’s event, NWA Power II: Sabotage. Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton will face off with the winner of tonight’s main event for the inaugural NWA Prime Championship. Zack Sabre Jr defends his Heritage Championship against Ilja Dragunov. Motor City Machine Guns vs The Good Brothers. Mercedes Mone & Billie Starkz vs Athena & Kamille. CM Punk & FTR vs AOP & Bron Steiner. Finally, Eddie Kingston vs Ricky Starks in an unsanctioned match.

Matt Cardona Reveals the ‘Deadly Games’

Matt Cardona comes out with information about the upcoming Deadly Games PPV which will be main evented by the Deadly Games match. Cardona reminds us of his history with Hardcore and Deathmatches so it feels right that he is the one that reveals this new match up.

The Deadly Games will be a 20ft caged cell that traps the ring and the competitors inside. 2 men start the match and compete for 5 minutes, then a new entrant comes in every 3 minutes until all 6 participants have entered. No pinfall or submission attempts will be counted until the match has reached the 20 minute mark. After 20 minutes, it is one fall to a finish. There is access to weapons under the ring, but the 4 later entrants will have a special weapon in their shark cage to introduce into the match. There will also be a dangerous, game-changing weapon hanging from the ceiling of the cage if anyone wants to try and retrieve it.

Matt Cardona guarantees that this is going to be a violent match that will have serious ramifications for the wrestlers, but with a great reward. The winner will receive a contract for a future World Championship match. With all of that said, Matt Cardona declares himself for the Deadly Games and promises to torture anyone who gets in the way of his victory.

Liv Morgan vs Thunder Rosa vs Taya Valkyrie, Prime Qualifier

Liv Morgan wrestles her first match in the NWA. She and Taya work together to take out Rosa, then Liv cheap shots Taya and tries to get a flash pinfall on her. Liv, Rosa and Taya all get a strong showing in this match. Plenty of time for all 3 women to showcase their talents. Thunder Rosa hits the Tijuana Bomb on Taya but Deonna Purrazzo runs out and pulls Rosa off the cover. Rosa knocks down Deonna but Billie Starkz is out now to help her allies.

Kamille, Athena & Jordynne Grace run out and try to get physical with the Consortium. They all run off, including Taya Valkyrie leaving us with Thunder Rosa and Liv Morgan. Liv counters the Fire Thunder Driver, headscissoring Rosa into the ropes, followed by Oblivion to win the match after 16 minutes. Liv celebrates her victory.

MJF walks into the Creed Brothers locker room and he says he comes in peace. It seems that Chad has taken his ball and gone home after being embarrassed by Walter at Built To Destroy. He says Chad was overrated anyways and he can give Creed better lessons than Gable ever could. They tell him to shut up and leave them be. MJF gives them some free advice. “If you continue to follow around B List wrestlers, you’re not going to get anywhere. If you don’t care about success, then you should get the fuck out of here.”

The Final Showdown before NWA Power II

Samantha Irvin introduces General Manager Teddy Long. He comes out and introduces CM Punk, FTR, Bron Steiner, Taz, Paul Ellering and the AOP. He gives the two sides a final chance to exchange words before next week’s match but he demands that there is no physicality. Paul Ellering starts. He says that FTR disrespects tag team wrestling every time they claim to be the best tag team in the world. If they’re so great, where are their championships? FTR retort that AOP know that they wouldn’t be champions without Bron. Ellering says that FTR cheated to beat them the first time around. The AOP did not cheat, they simply took advantage of a situation.

Taz also chimes in calling FTR a detriment to the NWA. First they cheated against the AOP, then they screwed Bron Steiner out of an opportunity at the NWA championship, then they screwed Bron in his match against Punk at Built To Destroy. FTR have a problem with minding their own business and Bron will deliver justice. Taz stares through CM Punk. Taz calls Punk an egomaniac, unwilling to move out of the way for better and more deserving stars. Bron Steiner is the future, Punk should have rolled over and accepted that he is not at the top anymore. Now, Steiner will have to put Punk out of his misery.

CM Punk speaks up and shuts his foes up. He calls Paul Ellering a legendary manager but now he is a dusty old relic desperately grasping at ways to remain relevant. He calls Taz a clean shaven Ewok and if he ever costs him an opportunity at a world championship again. Punk will make sure Taz reaggravates a neck injury. Punk stares through Steiner. He tells Bron he made the biggest mistake of his life a while back, threatening his wife. “It doesn’t matter if you’re only intentions were to bait me into an ambush. You made this personal, so now I will make it personal. I will destroy you and maybe I won’t stop there. I might go pay old man Rick a visit before he ruins any more WrestleCon events.”

Steiner launches himself at Punk and we have ourselves a mass brawl. The 6 wrestlers tear into each other whilst Teddy Long tries to get them to stop. Security come down and manage to separate them all from each other. The show closes with a shot of Punk and Steiner shouting trash talk at each other whilst being separated.
