Pyro goes off and we are welcomed to the eleventh episode of World Class Championship Wrestling by our commentary team, Ian Riccaboni & Nigel McGuinness. They hype up last week’s spectacular event and generate hype for the next major PPV, The Deadly Games! More details on that show in the coming weeks. They are interrupted by the new NWA Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone.
We Hear from Mercedes Mone
The women’s champion comes out with Deonna Purrazzo, Taya Valkyrie & Billie Starkz following behind her. Mercedes Mone tells the fans that she said what she was going to do and did it. She also proved that money does indeed talk. That precious little alliance Athena thought she had with Billie Starkz meant nothing when Mercedes promised her more money than she had ever seen in her life. Billie Starkz says that Athena was a useful stepping stone for her to reach a much higher level. The Mone level.
Mercedes calls these 3 women her business associates. She is the CEO. Together, they are The Consortium. They are the top 1% in NWA and they will bring in the most revenue than anyone else. They claim ownership of the women’s division. Mercedes sends a warning out to whoever competes for the soon to be announced secondary women’s championship, that title will end up in the hands of The Consortium.
Oba Femi w/Dominik Mysterio vs ‘Powerhouse’ Will Hobbs
These two men fought intensely 2 weeks ago in a ladder match. These two goliaths fight to a stalemate, it is only when Dom Mysterio gets on the apron does the match swing someone’s way. Hobbs tries to hit Dom with a powerbomb, but Femi interrupts, hitting the Fall From Grace and defeating Hobbs in about 11 minutes.
Samantha Irvin announces the new NWA Prime Championship, a secondary women’s title in conjunction with Amazon Prime. A gold belt on a baby blue strap. There will be 4 triple threat matches, 3 qualifiers and the last one for the inaugural championship.
We Hear from Zack Sabre Jr.
The inaugural Heritage Champion comes out and says that he knew all along that he was going to be the first Heritage champion. He is not only the best British wrestler of all time “yeah that includes you too Barrett”, but he is the best wrestler no cap. Samantha Irvin asks him about what rules he is going to put in place for the Heritage Championship.
Zack Sabre Jr says that all Heritage Championship matches are going to be 20 minute time limits and submission only. He knows there is no one in NWA that can even come close to him as a technical wrestler. He is interrupted by The Acclaimed who claim that either of them can take on ZSJ and win. The champ asks for them to put their money where their mouth is and meet him next week. Max Caster says that it will be him.
Bron Steiner w/Taz vs Dax Harwood w/Cash Wheeler
FTR cost Steiner his match with CM Punk, Steiner got revenge later in the night attacking them before their championship match. Harwood tries to out wrestle Steiner the best he can, but he is no match for the overwhelming power of Bron on his own. Steiner forces Harwood to tap out to the Steiner Recliner after 10 minutes. He refuses to let go of the hold, Cash Wheeler runs in and attacks him. Steiner overpowers him too and spears him. Taz shouts at the camera that Bron Steiner is far from finished with Punk.
Miro Returns
Miro comes to the ring dressed in a suit, he is full of smiles and joy. He welcomes us all to this joyous day for a new beginning. Not just for him. But for us all. For weeks he has felt lost and without purpose but he realises something. He isn’t the only one. All of these fans are lost and hopeless too. That was the catalyst for Miro finding his purpose. He must be idol that the people need.
He introduces us to “Mirocracy” which is a new religious faith unlike the others. Christianity, Islam, Judaism are all ancient faiths built in ancient ideology. Mirocracy is a modern faith with modern ideals and modern ways to show your faith. He tells everyone to download his new app “MiroSays” to listen to daily prayers and guided meditations.
He finally promotes the main way that followers can support the faith, by investing in “Miro Coin”. Investing in Miro Coin is the sure fire way to prove your faith to Miro, your faith to God and ultimately avoid hell in the afterlife. Miro promises to come out every week until the entirety of the NWA supports the Mirocracy.
Backstage Charly Caruso asks MJF about his loss at Built To Destroy. He ignores her and proceeds to mock Chad Gable for his loss against Gunther. The Creed Brothers take exception to this. They challenge him to a match with either of them. MJF cannot tell the difference which one is which so he will fight either of them.
Chelsea Green vs Tegan Nox vs Billie Starkz, Prime Qualifier
These 3 women give it their all on their quest to be the inaugural Prime champion. Chelsea Green locks in a Black Widow on Nox, using AJ Lee’s finishing move. Billie Starkz looks like she is going to finish Nox off with the Star 10, but Athena makes her way to the ring. Starkz immediately leaves the ring and runs through the crowd, Athena giving chase. Nox goes for the Shiniest Wizard, Green dodges and hits Unprettier to win the match.
Jordynne Grace is shocked at the betrayal of Billie Starkz and the result at Built To Destroy. She says she hasn’t heard from Kamille, but she knows that she won’t be taking the loss well. She will be pissed. Grace warns The Consortium that it doesn’t matter how much money they have, justice will come around and be delivered. She will make sure of it.
We Hear from Paul Ellering
Paul Ellering claims a right has been wronged after AOP unfairly lost on the first show in this new NWA. They are now the NWA Tag Champions and deservingly so. He is interrupted by the Motor City Machine Guns. Alex Shelley congratulates them on their win and talks about their own championship success. Chris Sabin says they want to be the first to challenge AOP, but they’re interrupted by another new team. Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows, the Good Brothers.
They don’t see why the MCMG should be the first in line, they’re good but they’re not as great as the Good Brothers. They want first dibs. The Grizzled Young Veterans now interrupt and say there is no chance these newcomers deserve to be anywhere near those titles. They have beaten the AOP before and they can do it again in a fair standard tag match.
Now War Machine come out and claims they only lost thanks to the Vets clobbering them with chairs. They don’t need a shortcut to get the job done. Paul Ellering says this is not their problem, sort it out. The Tag champs take their leave as the other 4 teams argue with each other.
Christian Cage vs LA Knight
These two men have built up a strong dislike for one another since competing in the NWA title tournament. The match starts as a brawl and spills to the outside. This is a back and forth physical contest. LA Knight counters the Unprettier into the BFT, which is how he won their match last time. Christian rolls out of the ring before he can be pinned. LA Knight goes after him, but Christian pops up with a punch to the face! Knight looks out on his feet. Christian throws something away at ringside.
He goes back into the ring and hits a spear. Christian goes for the pin, but the referee has left the ring to investigate outside. He spots a pair of brass knuckles outside of the ring! He calls for a disqualification, and LA Knight wins again. Christian complains to the referee. LA Knight attacks him, both men continue their brawl until security pull them apart.
Commentary announce that the next major PPV event will be Deadly Games on the 21st of May. They also remind us that on the 26th of March we will have NWA Power II, titled Sabotage after the famous Beastie Boys hit. You can expect to see all of the stars on the NWA, matches will be announced shortly. On next weeks WCCW; MJF is in action, Zack Sabre Jr defends his Heritage Championship, another qualifying match for the Women’s Prime title and Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru featuring Kamille.
We Hear From NWA World Champion Walter
The recently crowned heavyweight champion makes his grand entrance with a smile on his face. The legendary championship is around his waist and he carries a black velvet bag. There was no doubt in his mind that he would walk out of San Jose as the new world champion. There is not a single wrestler on the planet on his level. Any wrestler from any promotion in any country cannot lace Walter’s boots. He is aware of the rich legacy this championship has, but he has to be honest. This championship belt is old, ugly and irrelevant just like Bryan Danielson. Just like Sting too. “I am deserving of a greater prize than this 10 pounds of trash.”
Walter throws down the NWA World Heavyweight Championship and stamps on it. He reaches into the bag he carried and pulls out a gorgeous prize. A brand new championship that slightly resembles the iconic ‘Big Gold’ WCW championship. “Now this is a prize worthy of a champion like myself”. Walter warns any future title contenders and any one who tries to use the Heritage Championship to earn themselves a shot at his title. Don’t bother. The NWA belongs to Walter and no one can stop him. The show goes off the air with Walter holding his new championship high in the air.
