Mustafa Saed made a memorable entrance, throwing trash can lids, kendo sticks and chains into the ring before the bell even rang — Bear Bronson took a lid to the head before it officially started. The chaos of a multi-man battle royal made for an entertaining opener, with Saed becoming an early comedic highlight before being dumped out by Special Agent Zero. Elijah was the standout performer down the stretch, eliminating Eddie Edwards, Bear Bronson, and Frankie Kazarian in quick succession, before Eric Young and Elijah traded chops and forearms on the apron, with Young settling it via a low blow to send Elijah to the floor. Functional battle royal, nothing more.

Léi Yǐng Lee Addresses the Crowd (Segment)

A newly crowned two-time Knockouts World Champion, Lee said last Thursday was the best night of her life, spoke about fighting her whole life for this moment, and thanked the Sacramento fans despite English being her second language. Genuine, warm stuff. Xia Brookside came out to take aim at the title, and when Lee offered to fight her right then and there, Brookside declined — calling Sacramento a “cesspool” and retreating up the ramp, leaving Lee fuming. Solid heel work from Brookside, building what should be a worthwhile feud.

Mike Santana World Title Promo / Daria Rae Segment

Santana hit the ring to address Eric Young’s victory, acknowledging Young as a foundational member of TNA but making clear he’d beaten everyone with legacy before and Young would be no different. Then things shifted: Director of Operations Daria Rae interrupted to announce that Steve Maclin, now medically cleared after being stopped by the referee in their last encounter, would be the actual next challenger — next week, for the TNA World Championship. Santino Marella also appeared, calling it a big-money match and announcing Indi Hartwell has re-signed with TNA — though Rae took a shot at Santino over his daughter Arianna Grace losing the Knockouts title. Backstage politicking with real consequences for the title picture.

Sactown Street Fight

AJ Francis def. KC Navarro

MLB Sacramento Athletics announcer Chris Caray joined commentary for the match, giving it a fun local flavour. The former tag partners wasted no time getting into the weapons. Navarro grabbed a table early, Francis nullified it, and the pair brawled around the ringside area with chairs, a baseball bat, and even a batting helmet that Caray handed over to Navarro. Francis hit the Down Payment, slamming Navarro through a table on the outside, then rolled him back in for the cover and the win. A fun brawl that made good use of the street fight stipulation and local sports tie-in, though it never quite reached the heights it was threatening.

Allie & Rosemary def. The Diamond Collective (Victoria Crawford & Mila Moore)

A solid tag match that furthered the ongoing feud between these two teams. Allie and Rosemary picked up the win over The Diamond Collective, continuing to build momentum in this women’s tag division story. Straightforward but well-executed.

Fabian Aichner Debut (Post-Main Event Segment)

After the main event, music hit and Fabian Aichner — formerly Giovanni Vinci in WWE — walked out and made his TNA debut, immediately calling out new X-Division Champion Cedric Alexander. A statement arrival that instantly freshens up the division.

TNA X-Division Championship (2-Out-of-3 Falls)

Cedric Alexander def. Leon Slater (c) — NEW CHAMPION

The match of the night, and it wasn’t close. In what many are already calling one of the best TNA television matches of 2026, Cedric Alexander defeated Leon Slater in a dramatic 2-out-of-3 falls classic to capture the X-Division Championship. Slater entered just one day away from breaking the all-time record for the longest X-Division Championship reign, making the loss even more heartbreaking.

The pair were 2-2 against each other since last August, and the show had done a great job building up the match all night. Alexander hit a snap German suplex during a commercial break that had Slater landing on his neck, shifting the momentum dramatically. Slater showed incredible resilience throughout, but the heartbreak was complete when Alexander got the deciding fall. After the match, Fabian Aichner came out to stare down the new X-Division Champion as iMPACT went off the air.

A genuinely brilliant match with a devastating storyline hook — Slater losing the record by one night is a killer piece of narrative.
