Ryan Nemeth joined the commentary team and spent most of the match mocking KC Navarro. Bronson dominated with his power advantage while The System took every opportunity to interfere when the referee’s back was turned. Nemeth rallied late by sending Bronson shoulder-first into the ring post before spiking him with a DDT. The other members of The System attempted to interfere, but were distracted by KC Navarro.

Dutch def. Matt Hardy

Jeff Hardy and Vincent were banned from ringside. Before the match even began, Matt pulled a table from under the ring, set it up on the floor, and spray-painted the word “Sacrifice” across the tabletop, continuing his slow slide back into the “Broken” persona. The match spilled outside, with both men using anything and everything to their advantage.  Dutch gained control with his size and power and picked up the win.

Elayna Black def. Katie Arquette

Before any jokes could be made about Arquette possibly being related to David Arquette, Tom Hannifan revealed that Arquette was indeed a cousin of the former WCW World Champion. This was essentially a squash. Black won with the Blackout, a butterfly spinning neckbreaker.

TNA World Championship: Mike Santana (c) def. Rich Swann

Rich Swann cut a backstage promo asking BDE to stay in the back during his title match so there would be no excuses when he won.

There was a long feeling-out process to start. Swann caught Santana with a step-up rana; Santana went for his own, but Swann countered with a handspring. Both men went for dropkicks simultaneously, and both kipped up. It took about 20 minutes into the contest for the first serious near fall. Santana went for pins on a rolling cutter and a powerbomb. Swann came back for pin attempts on a handspring cutter, a frog splash, and a destroyer. After the kick-out from the destroyer, Swann measured a pair of kicks to Santana’s jaw. Swann ran the ropes, and Santana cleaned his clock with the Spin the Block lariat to win.

After the match, Santana and Swann hugged and put each other over. With Carlos Silva not in attendance, Daria Rae — wearing the “TNA” baseball cap Silva usually sports — came out to present Santana with his championship belt.

Key Segments

Xia Brookside turns on Lei Ying Lee: Brookside came out in her usual peppy entrance music but dressed in all black. She blamed Lee for costing her the Knockouts Championship by showing her a video of her father before a match. Brookside feigned accepting Lee’s tearful apology, then sucker-punched her and dropped her with an implant DDT.

Elijah Concert/Kazarian confrontation: Frankie Kazarian was disguised as Elijah and mocked him ahead of a fake concert. The lights went out and the real Elijah appeared behind Kazarian, choked him out, and issued a challenge for a Guitar Strap Match before performing a song for the crowd.

Mustafa Ali International Open Challenge: Ali held a TNA International Championship Open Challenge country selection segment. Australia was drawn first, meaning Adam Brooks will challenge Ali for the TNA International Championship next week.

EC3 Promo: EC3 said he was happy that Eric Young hit him with a chair. He didn’t return to TNA for matches — he returned for trial by combat, and Young is the perfect participant to test him.

Tessa Blanchard Promo: Tessa Blanchard, alongside Mila Moore and Victoria Crawford, talked about how dangerous the Undead Realm is. Tessa then challenged Rosemary, Allie, and Mara Sade to a match next week, saying they’ll fight them “in their world.”

The System Parking Lot Promo: Bear Bronson promised to get back at Nic Nemeth. Cedric Alexander again argued he was cheated in his X-Division title match at Rebellion. Eddie Edwards shouted about how you can’t beat The System — despite the two men before him both complaining about being beaten.
