The 15th Elimination Chamber event was the first WWE show at the Rogers Centre since WrestleMania X8 in 2002, and drew 38,493 fans to a building that brought serious energy all night. Toronto is one of the best wrestling crowds in the world and this show used that to its full advantage — particularly in the middle of the card, where it mattered most.

Women’s Elimination Chamber Match

Winner: Bianca Belair (Belair, Liv Morgan, Naomi, Bayley, Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez)

The match was upended before it even started when Jade Cargill made a stunning return and viciously attacked Naomi — who had replaced Cargill as Belair’s tag partner — thrashing her around the structure and slamming the chamber door on her. Officials deemed Naomi unable to compete, eliminating her before the bell.

It’s a bold creative choice. On one hand it injected instant drama; on the other it immediately robbed the match of a competitor and raised questions about the booking. Belair, emotionally stunned, entered next and had to battle through Morgan’s attack while processing what just happened to her partner. It was good character work.

The elimination order saw Morgan pin Bayley, Bliss pin Perez, then Morgan eliminate Bliss before Belair and Morgan were left as the final two. Bliss hit Sister Abigail on Belair, but Morgan rolled her up with a jackknife cover — using leverage from Belair’s braid — to eliminate her. Morgan is so good at that sneaky heel stuff. Belair eventually countered Oblivion into a KOD to win.

A solid Chamber match with a strong winner, dragged slightly by the pre-match nature of one elimination.

Tiffany Stratton & Trish Stratus def. Nia Jax & Candice LeRae

Tiffany Stratton & Trish Stratus vs. Nia Jax & Candice LeRae: Elimination Chamber 2025 highlights

In a comparatively inconsequential matchup, Women’s Champion Stratton teamed with the legendary Stratus to beat Jax and LeRae. Toronto gave Trish a hero’s welcome, as they should — she’s a Canadian legend and the crowd made the moment feel bigger than the match itself.

Hidden Details Most Fans Missed From WWE Elimination Chamber 2025

The actual in-ring work was fine, nothing more. Jax is a bully, Stratton is good at being a chaotic heel-ish champion, and Stratus looked credible in her brief involvement. But this was filler by design. Served its purpose.

Unsanctioned Match: Kevin Owens def. Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens – Unsanctioned Match: Elimination Chamber 2025 highlights

The match of the night, and it wasn’t particularly close. The announcer made clear there were no rules and WWE took no responsibility for what happened. Owens threw the first punch and it was off to the races — both men brawled into the crowd and used everything they could find to inflict damage.

Zayn grabbed a hockey stick to an enormous pop from the Canadian crowd. That one moment captured everything about why this match worked — two Canadians, 20-year history, Toronto eating every second of it. Zayn was selling his injured neck throughout, adding layers to what was already a brutal, violent fight.

Randy Orton made his return after the match, adding another chapter to the ongoing story. The whole segment, from bell to Orton’s music, was the highlight of the show. Zayn and Owens put on an instant classic — as fun as it was violent, which is exactly what it needed to be.

Men’s Elimination Chamber Match

Winner: John Cena (Cena, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest, Logan Paul)

John Cena eliminates CM Punk to win his final Chamber Match: Elimination Chamber 2025 highlights

Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins started the match, battering each other from the off, with Rollins at one point smashing McIntyre into CM Punk’s pod — much to Punk’s visible delight. Smart little touches like that kept the match engaging throughout.

The match itself was good, not great. Six big names, strong crowd, solid structure. But everyone knew what this was really building to. Cena tied his record 4th Elimination Chamber win, earning the right to challenge Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 — and then everything happened.

Elimination Chamber 2025 | WWE

The Rock’s music hit after the match, Travis Scott emerged first, then The Final Boss himself. Rhodes came to the ring and refused The Rock’s offer to become “his champion” — and Cena turned on him, joining The Rock in a brutal post-match attack.

For a certain generation of fans, this was their Bash at the Beach 1996 moment. John Cena — the face of WWE for two decades, the guy who literally cannot be seen — turning heel in his retirement year, in Canada, against Cody Rhodes. Absolutely nobody saw it coming in the way it landed. The match rating is almost irrelevant given what followed.

Overall: One of WWE’s stronger PLEs in recent memory. Owens vs. Zayn alone is worth the watch, and Cena’s heel turn is the kind of shocking moment that reminds you why you watch wrestling. The show had four matches and every one served a purpose. Toronto was the right city for this.
