Last year, most of us had three people we wanted to see as Mr Money in the Bank — LA Knight, Jey Uso, and Finn Bálor. Personally, I’ve often wondered how different the World Heavyweight Championship lineage could’ve been if Finn had won his qualifier. That’s what this fantasy booking explores — what if The Prince became Mr Money in the Bank?
The Qualifiers
In this scenario, instead of Jey winning, Rey catches him with a 619. But before Rey can hit a Frog Splash, Finn pushes him off and connects with a Coup de Grâce to qualify for Money in the Bank. On the go-home SmackDown, as everyone cuts a promo in the ring, Bálor interrupts, venting about how WWE has wasted his talents for too long. He declares he’s about to show everyone why you never mess with The Prince.
Money In The Bank
The match unfolds mostly the same until the finish. LA Knight takes the ladder spot from Drew instead of Jey. When Drew climbs, CM Punk pushes him off through a table. Punk flees as Finn realises everyone’s down. Slowly, Bálor climbs the ladder, unhooks the briefcase, and becomes Mr Money in the Bank Finn Bálor.
Raw: Celebration and Tension
The following night, The Judgment Day celebrate backstage. Damian Priest confronts Finn:
“Balor, be real with me — who do you plan to cash this in on?”
Finn chuckles.
“Whoa, pal. This is just a backup plan to keep gold in The Judgment Day. And if I had to choose who to cash in on, it’d be… Cody Rhodes, the WWE Champion, of course.”
Priest relaxes, joining the celebration. The following weeks play out the same leading up to SummerSlam, except on the final Raw, McDonagh & Mysterio defeat Awesome Truth for the World Tag Team Titles.
SummerSlam
Rhea Ripley vs Liv Morgan happens as usual. The backstage Damian segment remains unchanged.
Semi-Main Event: Damian Priest vs Gunther – World Heavyweight Championship
Big strikes, hard hits, and momentum swings define the match. Priest hits South of Heaven, but JD McDonagh distracts the referee. Dominik Mysterio pulls Priest out of the ring — then we hear:
“Finn Balor has cashed in his Money in the Bank contract! It’s now a Triple Threat match!”
Priest is blindsided by a Shotgun Dropkick into the steps. Finn hits another on Gunther and finishes with a Coup de Grâce to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
Raw: The Fallout
The Judgment Day open the show. Finn declares the group is done with its “two most obnoxious members.” Gunther interrupts, furious:
“You interfered in my first World Championship victory.”
He challenges Finn to a match at Bash in Berlin, which Bálor accepts. Over the next few weeks, Finn plays mind games and gets the upper hand in several brawls.
Bash In Berlin
Finn Balor vs Gunther – World Heavyweight Championship
The bell rings and the crowd is electric. Gunther dominates early with thunderous chops; Finn fights back with speed and precision. Suddenly, Damian Priest appears, shoving Finn off the top rope. With the referee distracted, Gunther locks in a vicious Sleeper Hold. Finn fades. The referee calls it — Gunther wins the World Heavyweight Championship. Priest smirks from the ramp.
Raw: The Rivalry Reignites
Finn calls out Gunther, claiming he lost unfairly. Priest interrupts, demanding his own title shot — but first, he wants Finn. Gunther appears and declares:
“At Bad Blood, it will be a Triple Threat match.”
Weeks of promos and brawls follow.
Bad Blood
Gunther (c) vs Damian Priest vs Finn Balor – World Heavyweight Championship
Chaos from bell to bell. Gunther’s power, Priest’s intensity, and Finn’s speed collide. Alliances form and break. After a war of near-falls, Gunther hits a devastating double lariat and pins Priest. Gunther retains.
Crown Jewel
Following brutal attacks and a no-contact contract signing, it’s finally Finn Balor vs Damian Priest.
Priest dominates early, but distractions from JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio swing the match. Finn nails a 1916 for the three-count, stealing the win.
On Raw, Priest retaliates, ambushing Balor and challenging him to a Steel Cage Match at Survivor Series.
Survivor Series
Inside the cage, the two destroy each other. Finn hits a Coup de Grâce — near fall. Priest drags him from the top and delivers a Top-Rope Razor’s Edge. Priest wins.
Saturday Night’s Main Event
Weeks of escalating violence lead to a Last Man Standing Match. Both men unleash carnage — chairs, kendo sticks, barricades. Finn ends it by diving off the turnbuckle with a Coup de Grâce through two stacked tables. Priest can’t rise before ten. Finn Balor wins, reborn through war.
Raw on Netflix Premiere
Gunther proclaims himself “Netflix’s Champion,” listing everyone he’s beaten — Damian, Randy, Sami. Finn interrupts:
“You never pinned me, and I want my shot at the Royal Rumble.”
On the go-home Raw, Finn cuts a passionate promo:
“I’ve been world champion all over the world. I’ve conquered every company I’ve entered. But one injury made this company — and you people — forget me. So now, I’ll take it all back… starting with your World Championship.”
Royal Rumble

Semi-Main Event: Gunther (c) vs Finn Balor – World Heavyweight Championship
The tension is palpable. Gunther’s power collides with Finn’s cunning. Each chop echoes through the arena as Balor refuses to quit. After countering a powerbomb into a superplex, Finn ascends the top rope. One Coup de Grâce. Then another. Then a third.
One, two, three — Finn Bálor is your new World Heavyweight Champion.
By the following Raw, every member of The Judgment Day holds gold once again.
