TOP 10: REVPRO Talents
I attended my first RevPro show earlier in the year and have tried to watch every one since. These are 10 people for me that could move on up whether to new promotions (TNA, NJPW, CMLL or AEW) or just up the ladder in the UK scene. Please let us know who I missed off and who I need to check out in the future.
1. Leon Slater

I think by now anybody that watches wrestling in the UK knows about Leon. Still only 19 years of age but what a huge talent. Signed up by TNA when they toured the UK last year and hopefully with the NXT crossover he can appear there, maybe teaming up with Je’Von Evans. Has the best 450 splash you will ever see. Fingers crossed 2025 is his year.
2. Ricky Knight JR

RKJ has a similar style and charisma to MJF and I think will follow in the footsteps of his aunt (Paige/Saraya) sooner rather than later. Walked down the ramp with Saraya during her entrance at ALL IN Wembley recently.
3. Zozaya

The Spanish youngster has absolutely everything needed to become a top star. Phenomenal off the ropes, great on the mat and has a great ring presence. Would make a great tag partner for Axiom when he and Nathan Frazer inevitably split.
4. Luke Jacobs

Probably seems strange the current champion is so low on the list but for me personally, his old-school style means he’s probably slightly less likely to move on to bigger things. Jacobs is however very good in the ring and could put on some excellent matches with somebody like Eddie Kingston or Tomahiro Ishii. I think he would do very well in NJPW.
5. Robbie X

Robbie is your typical high-flier. Puts on a show every single time. The crowds adore his ring style. Dijak said after his recent match that he needs to get work in America. He recently went over to CMLL and made a very good account of himself alongside the likes of Claudio Castagnoli and Kyle Fletcher. CMLL or NJPW beckons for him very soon.
6. Michael Oku

Probably another controversial decision on my part. The ex-champion recently appeared on AEW’s Cardiff shows and everybody expected him to be signed up. Personally, I’m not sure he’s quite ready for it. Technically very good and likes to fly high as well but something just isn’t there for me saying star. A very good talent nonetheless.
7. Sunshine Machine

Who doesn’t love a good tag team match? For me, tag teams are slightly undervalued currently in all promotions and in need of a shake-up. These 2 have excellent in-ring chemistry and the crowd adore them. I could see them making a wave in any tag division personally.
8. JJ Gale

JJ is a solid in-ring performer. Loves the ropes but is also not afraid to throw hands as he showed with Ishii at the anniversary show. I think he can be one to step his game up if Jacobs leaves Revpro for pastures new.
9. Man Like Dereiss

Surprises me that he never achieved more on his NXT UK run, the epitomy of a WWE wrestler in my opinion. Has a good image, great on the mic and the Revpro crowd loves him. Like JJ Gale I think will step up if a few people move on and has already stated his intentions to challenge for titles in the very near future.
10. Kid Lykos

I don’t think Kid Lykos will ever actually go any further in Revpro, but this guy is as solid a performer you will ever get. Known for his high-flying lucha style but such a hard hitter and has done a few hardcore fights as well. Also has his own gym to train the next generation. A true great of the British indy scene.
